What Really cause poverty in an individual

Many people are reluctant to work because of their high prestige so they look for jobs that are not embarrassing, this is a problem that occurs quite a lot in my community.

I’m going to have to agree. I personally have met people who are too impatient to start a job and work their way up. They want a high paying job right out of the gate. But they do not have the credentials neither the skills to back their demands up. We all start from nowhere and if we don’t do anything to improve, there won’t be any process.

People have become way too expectant of life these days as if life is so easy. It is not and it will never be. Nevertheless we still need to try our best and persevere.

uhh that's quite annoying, only people who don't know themselves by asking for a high salary but they themselves don't have the skills, and do you know that if we work by wanting to see the nominal salary that we will get in a certain time, it's a mistake. Because in my opinion if we are looking for a job then we should be able to accept the job that has been obtained first and don't think about the salary first because it can make the boss uncomfortable and might judge us badly, if the salary we get is unreasonable then what's so difficult about just quitting, right? unless you are the type of person who likes a fuss, maybe you will take issue with your boss.
In addition, with those who are lucky to be born into a family that has everything or in other words born into a rich family, in my opinion it doesn't mean they can live as they please, independence must still be in us and only shameless people depend on their parents for their entire life, because when I was in school or college I didn't want to depend on my parents, however I have to be independent in my own way, it's better to be able to support my parents.

Also, there are people who are really that too delusional when it comes on how they should earn and on how much they will really be making without trying out to realize that their skills and knowledge and experience
isnt really that sufficient enough on what they are really that having. There are those people who do have that kind of behavior of liking being entitled or having that high confidence towards themselves
but not really that actually getting in line on what they are demanding. When it comes to poverty and if a certain individual is really that on such condition then there would really be those people who
would be having some plans that they would really be liking on having that kind of plans on doing things for better and thats why they do make out such actions on which trying to look for other source of income.

When you are really just that contented on what you do currently have now then it wont really be that bad that you would really be having that kind of perspective in life but as much as possible then it will
really be that ideal that you do really need up to act wise and hard for you to have a progressive life so that you could see up some changes.

Many countries are trying to increase resources to increase people's income, but the success rate is lower than expected. Each individual must struggle with his abilities, As long as they have living facilities such as a decent house, a vehicle that can be used for transformation and have no debt, the person has succeeded in getting out of the poverty line.

Many highly qualified specialists work for pennies, because the state does not create conditions in which they would receive more, and they themselves do not seek higher pay. Unfortunately, this is becoming one of the causes of corruption. After all, if people officially demanded higher pay, they would not have the need to take bribes.

This is why a lot of people are finding greener pasture outside of their country. And it is quite understandable. If you have the means to find better income, then go for it.

This is huge problem need to be solve since due to rampant corruption happening there's to many job discrepancy happening since there are lets job created due to their national policies and people suffer due to this bad actions made by officials. So the other option taken by people is to go overseas and find better paycheck. If they can take this opportunity then they should grab it since if they stay on their country where they get pay for efforts and skills they have for sure they live a miserable life. Compare if they take huge opportunities for sure that they can bring good financial changes to their family. Its sad that government is the one creating huge problem to their people that's why its good to choose better leader so that they can see good changes and can live comfortably with lots of opportunity to get on their motherland.

What makes people rich is opportunity, hard work and also persistence to achieve what is expected, and investing they will not increase their lifestyle even though their income increases, unlike people with a poor mentality, the first thing they will do when they have a lot of money is increase their lifestyle and start living wasteful, buying things that are not really needed and even the value of these things will decrease, don't think about investment.

You don't need to worry, but start by setting a target that you want to achieve from your income so that you can start living in a financially orderly manner, so that even if you are not rich, at least you have assets that can guarantee a better life to beat inflation.

Infact I have come to the realization that poverty is the biggest problem that we have in the world right now poverty is what actually makes people to define who we are as a person as it confines us to live a life style that is far below our expectations and potential that are deposited in us.
Initially I was thinking that people who are poor where due to lack of opportunities and the right environment for them to grow and develop themselves but today I heard a different view entirely I was told that poverty is what is inside of you so before you can become rich that you need to be rich inside of you, infact the person even said if you are poor inside of you even if you are given a $million that it will be a matter of time before that money will be wasted and you become poor again.

That got me worried and thinking what really makes people to become rich? Let share our opinion on this

What causes poverty in general is lack of knowledge to manage and so to use the resources you have to multiply.
It’s has became a problem in the society especially to the young ones who are expose to the so called lavish lifestyle.
You can imagine someone having 3 million Naira and boom the next two three months that same person can’t even boost of 500k and no investment in place.
So if one have the knowledge to manage and multiply then such person can’t be poor

But choosing up the right leader isnt something that could be able to hit up the right spot specially in a country on which vote buying is really that rampant but done on a silent way as possible. Here in our country on which
you would really be able to see that there are really indeed instances about vote buying on which this is illegal but its been done and there's no one caught on this one. This is why on the moment that they have chosen up the wrong leader then this is the moment or time that they will really be having those kind of regrets that they should have done it on election but well whats done is done and there's no way on turning back.
With having a corrupt official would really be leading into that lacking of opportunity into its people on which this one would really be causing that potential problem on where they will really be going indeed on overseas on looking for opportunity just because they cant be able to see or find it out on their homeland. It is really that sad that people would really be needing to do this for them to be able to survive.

First of all, this requires desire, because without desire nothing will work out (there is not a single chance). There are many people who are quite satisfied with their modest income (they are completely devoid of ambition). A strong will is also needed (that is, energy directed at achieving important goals).

In my opinion, a person who wants to get rich should look for opportunities to do so, constantly learn something new, be able to analyze information and make decisions quickly.

You raised a very important point here, poverty is complex in my opinion and it's different by context. It can mean not being able to afford basic necessities like food and shelter or opportunities like education and skills.
The idea that poverty might also come from an inner state which is thought provoking for me. While mindset and financial literacy are important, It’s a fair point that someone with no understanding of money management or long term planning might squander financial issues as seen in cases of lottery winners who quickly return to poverty.
However, I believe it's important to balance this perspective with the understanding that external circumstances such as lack of access to quality education, healthcare, or job opportunities is slso often create barriers that are not easily overcome by mindset alone.
That's how I understand poverty, while it's a term that each individual can use or counts as poverty.

Basically in life everything will always be adjusted, such as in the world of work, when your skills and abilities are mediocre in the sense that you have no advantages over others, then your boss will always place you in a suitable position with a salary that has been determined for that position, we must understand that the amount of salary you get depends on the quality you have in yourself, the company pays for the results of your work, there is no free lunch. The point is that everything you will get is according to how much hard work you have done or how far you have gone, there is no luck in the world of work, if you want to get more money from the company then you have to work twice as hard as the work done by other workers.

Many people stop just before they were to get their lucky break and end the generation curse of poverty in their family. You can't start and not finish it. Laziness causes poverty, procrastinating causes poverty and lack of determination causes poverty. This makes sense for those who have special gifts and talents. They don't use them, they don't utilize them, but the question is, what makes them not use them at their full potential? There could be several factors that make it happen, and one of them is probably a lack of opportunities. For example, in areas where it's a place for the poor, we hate to admit it, but that's what happens. They are given with lesser opportunities but you know that there are a lot of talented people in there, no doubt. And that's why they are not able to utilize what they have.

I agree about reading books. But let's be more specific, books that makes sense, books that increases our knowledge in areas like finance, education, health and not just those romantic and dramatic books.

If I want to say it in one word I would say this, to become rich it is necessary to combine intelligence, money management, the ability to take action and a rich heart. Because if one is only rich in heart, one cannot become rich unless one can acquire the ability to manage money and take intellectual action. However to become rich one's inner being must be rich. That means the matter is like this, all rich people are rich in heart but not all rich in heart people are truly rich.

I agree with you that if we live in a country with a developed economy like the top countries but still poor, it is mostly our fault, we are lazy, procrastinate and lack determination as you said. But if we live in a country with high inflation, a corrupt government, they don't create jobs and don't try to help people...how can we escape poverty? That is why there are many people who work hard all their lives, never stopping for a minute, but still cannot escape poverty until death.

There are many causes of poverty and we are not in that situation, we cannot know that escaping poverty is not just empty words.

Well, that's what I mean, some people find it difficult to take steps to struggle because they are afraid of failure, in fact, this assumption actually keeps them in the cycle of poverty. Most successful people have gone through a cliff path full of obstacles, they have also fallen several times, but managed to get back up again because their goal was to achieve a better end result. Failure is part of the struggle, if the determination is strong, there is no reason whatsoever that can hinder the plan to leave poverty.

I can say subjective because there is never any certainty about the exact answer and why people are in poverty because from some searches there is no opportunity to earn money so that makes life more difficult and on the other hand laziness to fight for welfare in life also plays an important role why people find it difficult to get out of poverty. So far, poverty has always been a narrative as a campaign material for candidates but after being elected they are unable to solve it properly because they do not have ideas to create jobs.

The conclusion we can draw is not to expect from others and instead find your own way to get out of poverty. There is no effort that betrays the results as long as we have struggled earnestly in achieving improvements in life to be better and we also need to try to achieve success like others.
