Poverty is a state of lack and not having something ( money, material, property) that is needed at that present point in time. Globally speaking poverty has been a major issues with the united nations general assembly even giving out time frame to end poverty and improve the standard of living of the world population especially in third world countries where the rate of poverty is higher.
That got me worried and thinking what really makes people to become rich? Let share our opinion on this

Getting rich depends on a lot of factors; there are rich by birth, and there are those who got rich because of luck and the right opportunity.
So whatever situation and place you are in, your chances to get rich depend so much on your determination; its better to get rich through our sheer effort, because if its sheer effort, you will hold on to what you've achieved through sheer effort compared if you got rich through inheritance or through by chance winning a lottery.

But not all people who become rich through inheritance or lottery winnings are unable to keep what they have. There are many people who inherit property and they continue to develop it to increase their wealth and continue to pass it on to many generations to come, and that's how the rich maintain their wealth across generations . For those who win the lottery, many use the money to start businesses and build wealth, not everyone spends it lavishly and becomes poor again .

Therefore, depending on the situation, we should have a suitable plan to get rich , if we are lucky enough to have the opportunity to inherit property or win the lottery . There is no reason for us to refuse because it will help us shorten the path to success .

I agree with this assumption or ideology, because basically everything must start from ourselves, including making ourselves rich. Because how can someone want to become rich, if for example that person does not have the capacity or thinking that is capable of bringing that wealth. The point is that if you talk about mental matters too, of course you can see the difference. Because people who have the potential to become rich have a very strong mentality and it is different from the mentality of people who do not have the potential to become rich. For example, people who have the mentality of being rich, even though they are poor, will definitely try hard to change their lives to be better. Usually people who have the mentality of rich people never seem to get tired, and always seek new knowledge every time they meet new people. Then this knowledge was tried and applied by himself personally. So in conclusion it is very clear, that if we want to become rich, then we have to start from within ourselves. Because as you said, the biggest cause of poverty comes from oneself. So in essence we must continue to have strong desires, beliefs and motivation.

I believe that to improve my economic situation depends on myself, when I am aware of the discomfort of my situation then I have to do something that can indeed make my situation better, but it is a problem if we are already aware of the uncomfortable situation and there is no movement at all.

With the passage of time of course we have to keep moving, whether we have a job or not we still have to move to get better than before. One motivational quote says that it is not your fault that you were born into a poor family since you cannot choose your parents. But you should take the blame if you remain poor. I don't totally believe in this assertion but there are some basic truths in it.

I see people from rural areas moving to cities where they have no relatives or friends to stay with. They just decide to live the rural areas where there are fewer opportunities to cities with better chances of succeeding. I also see people leaving poor nations and migrating to developing areas because they want to create a better future for themselves and their family members. In life we have to take some risks if we want to change an unfavourable condition.

No I don't believe poverty would ever get to an end because we can't be all financially equal and how do we even state a point of poverty? It should be a point where we can't afford our desires and most essential needs.
If you an an average earner amidst wealthy people you're still assumed to be poor because your standard of living comparing to them will be so underated and you too would want to grow in your incomes.
The fact is just that life is full of competition and unfortunately it can't serve everyone fair.
However, we can only improve to better living but that of poverty can't be termed off. Besides the governments would never agree to serve the masses standard and stable economy system. Muchly inflation will always be pinned to drive us crazily as course of high cost of living and taxes would also increase while income is of no value.

Yea, you are actually right on what you are saying, and to be honest here, poverty can't be silence for ever,  it can be reduced to the bearest minimum, but shutting it down completely is practically out of our control.

Secondly, we all look, but see differently, so we all have a different view of someone being poor, an individual might be living a fulfilled lifestyle, without having wealth in abundance but he will be termed as being poor because he or she is not having several cars or mansion or every other vain things.

Back in the day, short-sighted people could become poor because of the reasons you listed, just thinking about today is very legit problem. But today, just thinking about what we are making today is of course our biggest problem, like for example I have 3x the debt of my salary, and that means even if I make three times the size of my salary this month, from some investment and all, I would just go back to having no debt, but zero savings.

This means of course I am going to think about what to eat today, and yes that debt is a bad debt and it was done stupidly, not a good one, we could have been debt-free now but there were some situations I couldn't stop and that's why we are in debt, but at the same time we need to realize it is not that easy to save for the future when you are thinking about what to eat and worry about food. Not everyone has enough money to think about tomorrow, and most of the rich people do not see how that could be, they would just say spend less, to people who are worried about what to eat today, and not understand the irony in that.

Just let them be on what are the things that they do wanted to do, if they would be just that contented on what they do currently have or the status they are into then just let them be because not all people will really be having their own perceptions in life on which there are really those who are just that too lazy and doesnt want to have that progress, but there are those who do really strive on making up such changes and progress in terms of financial aspect. Poverty will not be accurate enough if it is only judged from a person's personal character because currently there are many poor people who cover themselves with the wrapping of rich people so that they are not considered poor by their own environment. Likewise with rich people who only wear a simple appearance even though it is not to cover up their identity as rich people, but such people cannot be considered poor.

Yeah, there is no doubt in that, if from inside you have deficiency of knowledge and motivation and you have accepted your nature and life style. Then even if you are given $1 million you will just spend them on you and won't use it to make more money.

Those who are rich I have seen they don't waste money they even don't waste money on things which are necessary instead they have enough resources to do the things in cheaper ways. Thy always comes with cheaper ways like a birthday party. Smart ones don't waste extra money but keep them simple but most of the people fighting with inflation celebrate birthdays by spending a lot of money.

Wasting money is one of the main reasons why some people remain poor up to date. The way they live their lifestyle is too expensive they spend money on unnecessary things. If the money some people are spending on things that are not necessary had been invested or used to start a business, they would not be where they are today.

The truth is, even rich people buy expensive items, but not things that are unnecessary. In fact, if someone wants to start using expensive things, it should be at a time when they have already built their wealth well, not while they are still in the process of building it.

Honestly, rich people always find ways to ensure their money continues to grow. That is why they always look for different sources of income and stop focusing on material things like some poor people do. Rich people are not overly focused on material things. Instead, they prioritize their investments and businesses, which is a significant difference from the mindset of many poor people.

First, we need to know that not all poor people are uneducated or have no ability and no plan to get rich. There are many people who are knowledgeable and intelligent but sometimes cruel fate makes them live in poverty. So if these people have the opportunity to own a large amount of money, they can create greater things, not that they will always fail or just saboteur.

In addition, people who become rich from winning the lottery, if unfortunately they lose everything later, it is also a lesson, an experience for them because from the beginning they had nothing to lose. So it cannot be said that winning the lottery is harmful to them.

I like your opinion but I'm not sure mindset can makes one poor individually. I am positive all my life, I want to one day see myself having that holiday in Dubai, go vacations in looking at burger kalifa but I'm poor to make that dream comes through, I'm not sure if I have the resources to live that kind of life, in fact I don't see that happening if I want to be truly honest with myself but it's not a bad thing to be hopeful about life because anything is possible.

You can't grow when you don't have networking, there are many things that can make one be limited to other opportunities and it's not because you are who you are, it's because there is no way. There is difference between optimism and reality, there is difference between dream and reality and there is difference between real and ideal. This is what life has thought me, unless you want to be living a fake life, there is limits to where everyone can stretch there hands.
