Another (in my opinion very obvious) case where an alt opens a new topic and asks a question, and then the same person replies from the main account. @H managed to notice the new topic, write and publish his post in just 78 seconds - I know some people type fast, but this is more about fast typing.

Oh, that was really quick! I don’t want to judge him, but if it were me, I’d probably need at least 5 minutes to come up with a reply after reading the topic. You know, I’m fast at typing but not so quick at thinking.

These are not alts. Firstly, the user's argument is reasonable (archive), secondly, even if he wrote 1 character and edited the post within 10 minutes, it would not be displayed as edited.

Don't change things too much, you are one of those who try to be the first to answer and then write anything and edit it later. You may not be an alts, but it's more than obvious that you're trying to get merits in a very unethical way. Most likely he is following boards with Telegram bot and trying to reply as fast as possible since he figured it out that earlier replies have higher chances of merit.

Btw, I think that there are more than a few who consider this "reserving the spot and then later expanding the answer" tactic as being pretty shitty as I remember similar cases in the past and people didn't react positively.

I don't think the problem here is making the comment in a hurry. I have seen many comments in which the users comment in a rush, even one-line comments. Those who are forum staff—some of them do that—and many other users use such means to secure a spot for themselves to appear in the first line of the comment. It might appear bad and cheating to others, as some people who want to give a genuine answer in a particular case might drop the comment under it, and after they have edited their post, it will now look as if the person who commented before the editing copied or just duplicated the answer of the first commenter with a few changes.
 
From reading the whole drama, where I see this issue coming from is the spead use in the comment. Even when it was edited, the time limit used in editing and adding up all the information and links looks really suspicious, and anyone who is observant enough will definitely have some queries over such an attitude. Adding to the fact that the OP and the person in question are from the same local board and have also made claims of having the same skill, coincidences do happen, but such is rare to be seen in the open.
 
Some people who make one-line comments and reserve them for editing later have been doing it, and a thread of such has not been created for them. This is because there has not been any malicious intent detected in such behaviour. When you see a little thing that is a bit fishy and warrants an eye brow to be raised, you will definitely see it.
 
All things being said, from all evidence, even if Cantsay is not the owner of that Op account, there is a higher possibility of him knowing who the OP is, and he was alerted before the thread became published, which made him arrange his reply in preparation for that moment.

And the question is, will it repeat such mistakes, or will it pretend that it can respond very quickly to new topics created? In its history, there are more such quick replies, containing links that were prepared somewhere for this.

Wow that was pretty fast!

I was wondering, did he even think before writing? Or did he just wrote and did the "thinking part" later!

For me, I need at least 3-5 minutes to come up with the things I wanna write and then another 2-3 minutes to write it up. Maybe fix grammar here and there, add new things, re edit etc!

Replying quickly isn't bad, and I think it is possible to reply within minutes. But all the time? Nope, no way! At least not by me!

What exactly is your problem with me, the fact that I reply too fast to a post that you suspect is an alt pattern? Or do I need to avoid any post that is being made to allow others to comment on it before I comment, or should I just be watching profiles of people who create new threads before I reply to them? Or probably I should just cease to exist since I’m blocking the air that you breathe in.
 
With just a 3-minute search, I could be able to search out a few legendary members who make fast replies like that too and sometimes edit it. Even if I can't get all, I can see 1 or 2, but it won't be suspicious because it's not a nameless account that just pops up.

I think I agree with you, and also I think it's somehow possible to write posts faster if you're dedicated to be the 1st one to comment on a post. It's not hard to be the 1st one to comment after OP these days because Telegram bot really notifies on time and the ones who respond to it in no time can write such posts without much issues. I know for some people it's not easy to write that fast but for some people it isn't hard either.

That was a fast reply, but I openly say here that I'm not your alt or alt of someone else. I'm pretty okay to be whoever I'm and I don't find a need to have multiple accounts as even single one is enough for me.

It takes time to be active in a single account, I don't know how some people can handle multiple accounts. The ones who do something like that might have a lot of free time because it's not even easy to rank up here anymore after the introduction of merit system, and ranking multiple accounts could be really painful.

If not for the quick reply over there I didn't see both accounts to alt, if you watch carefully you would see that the op who asked such questions doesn't speak good english and more like a newbie. While the other who responded so quickly is more learned than him, I think because of this similar issues I have entirely avoid responding to topics so quickly. Although I am using bot notification, that is to say when a topic is posted I get notified but I usually do not rush to comment anymore because some people could merged both accounts as alt.

I think he is trying to grow and like I know when full members are trying to grow to the next rank they are usually active in rendering helps and assistance to newbies and any other person in order for them to gain merits to grow, perhaps I don't see anything wrong here apart from the posting speed which he should have spaced for at least 5-10 minutes to read and comprehend before posting.

Many people have used this in the past to gather merits to themselves. They ensure they are the first person(s) to write on a thread after Op. It did actually worked for them until they were cautioned. Seems that the trend is back. There's nothing wrong with it unless the unethical means of earning merits that you mentioned.

However, this rather shows how irregular merit distribution is, in the forum. Rush and reply before and get merits.

There is another way out here. It is quite simple. Those with merits, eager to reward another user, should read a little further than the first posts. Sometimes the next answers are much more meaningful than those who are in a hurry to answer, and in their haste, leave out important points that can also be useful.

Not just sometimes but most of the times the ones who post after first comment give more valuable advice and information than the one who commented in hurry. Personally, I skip first comment when there's no valuable information in it, and read other comments to find valuable information.
