No, a trilogy will only happen if Bivol wins the rematch so he can level the rivalry and pave the way for the best part - the trilogy. So, as a fan who loves a trilogy, I'm hoping that Bivol will finally figure out how to beat the undefeated Beterbiev so we can all be happy.

In the first fight, if I'm not mistaken, Bivol was the slight favorite, but now, the line move to Beterbiev but I will say that still a 50/50 fight at this point. For sure Bivol has learn from his mistakes and going to make a lot of adjustments in the second fight. For Beterbiev, I don't know what kind of adjustment he will make, he will simply trying to go and wear down Bivol just like in the first time and could be looking for a knockdown but that might not happen. So it will still go down to the judges and score the fight as even as possible. But still very hard to see what kind of fight will it be, will Bivol save some of his energy and be picky on his punches or he will continue to be the volume puncher but will train hard enough to have a deeper gas tank this time.

Maybe they will used another strategy or just play defense more than the last time so that he will not be caught by the power punches of Beterbiev. Because in their first, Bivol allowed himself a lot of opening for Beterbiev to hit him. Yes, he had a good chin, but still though, those accumulation of punches are going to take toll on him that's why in the championship rounds, it looks like he is getting tired and his strategy is being discarded as he felt the power already.

So just play some defense in the early part of the fight and not fully allow Beterbiev hit him with that upper cut and straight right hand. I did not say that Bivol will need to be defensive. Similar to your argument that he needs to be like Pacman, my argument is he needs to float like a butterfly similar to Muhammad Ali! This change in tactic would be very much similar to Rocky 3 where Rocky's coach Mickey has died of a heart attack and his replacement coach was his former opponent the Apollo Creed! Apollo trained Rocky to have a similar fighting style as him and this is where Rocky begun to have the revenge for coach Mickey and have the victory in the rematch against the opponent BA Baracus!

So if in the early rounds Bivol is like moving and floating in the ring, and it's very effective, but suddenly he is hit in the face by Beterbiev. The ghost of the first fight might come back to Bivol and he might forget about his strategy and then goes back to the mentality of the first fight. And if he does, then it will be the same result.

On the many rematch I've seen they always take off where they left, so if we will see the same scenario then Bivol is going to lose the fight, he will have to show something different against Beterbiev, like better defense and full offense and take control on the championship rounds, and hope father time catch up with Beterbiev.
I always maintain that age will catch up on amy fighter and its only a matter of time, maybe this is the time so Bivol should take a good look on Beterbiev stamina and condition that will be the opportunity he will be looking for.

If this is the attitude that the coach and the fighter has taken, I reckon this fighter will lose gain. There's should be no funny in real life imitating art. Also, is this occurrence of changing tactics very much impossible?

I also disagree on your assessment. This will be Beterbiev who will knockout his opponent and bring him on a stretcher out of the ring. Bivol will only win with a decision of he is the winner.

Similar to my argument before, if Bivol and his coach cannot create a new tactic that will make the boxer float like a butterfly in the ring, we can be quite certain that the judges might make their decision similar to the judges of the fight before. Beterbiev's tactic on going near Bivol's face was certainly and clearly making Bivol very much nervyus. A boxer cannot win a fight if he is nervous. There should be mental relaxation.

It’s too risky for Beterbiev to leave it up to the judges, he needs to activate his KO power and end the fight convincingly. The reason we’re even getting a rematch is because the first fight was controversial. And with Beterbiev nearing retirement, he wants to cement his legacy with dominant wins. The only way to do that is by knocking out Bivol.

So I’m expecting the champ to come out more aggressive, pushing for an early stoppage.

Yes, we wanted to see the fight to end in a knockout so that we won't have this controversies again. But it could be very hard to knockout each other one out. Both have tough chins to begin with and we haven't seen those chin broken, although Beterbiev has been down in his career if I'm not mistaken. But he still won that fight with a knockout that's why his records is still 100% knockout until he face Bivol and didn't win that way. But in any case, if the fight is going to be close again and the judges will have to decide, it might still be 50/50, and just imagine though if this fight is going to end in a draw?

Good trainer, who he hasnt change since his debut in 2014. Maybe making a radical move such as changing coaching staff completely would be good? They make adoption to fighting styles of their opponents, but I dont believe that they would have changed coaching approach radically. Perhaps they would do the same they did for years. Beterbiev will push, Bivol will counter, if it goes to judges, they would be in favour of current champ. They might be more risky, as they already experience each other, and we might see a KO by Beterbiev.
