After the controversial first fight, we expect a rematch to happen soon, and we're glad that it happened right away without either fighter taking another fight with other fighters.
I hope Bivol can even fight and win by decision so we'll have a trilogy, This time I favor Bivol to win the fight, There's distractions on his last fight, like the divorce settlement; by now he is focused on this fight, I see this fight lasting the distance with Bivol winning the fight because of fresh legs, I just feel that Beterbiev will show eventually and possibly on this fight.

A lot are rooting for Beterbiev but of course, Bivol has the motivation to win this fight. Because if not, there will be no trilogy that will happen afterwards. But I don't think Beterbiev will just let Bivol to win on this one. So both fighters are surely preparing for their rematch.

Agreed. There are many fans who are only speculating on Bivol's adjustments, however, they have not considered that Beterbiev will also have his own adjustments for this rematch because Beterbiev might be very disappointed that he did not knockout Bivol and put him in a stretcher.

I reckon if Bivol's adjustment will be to force himself to be stronger, this might be a mistake because this is the type of fight where Beterbiev can become very much powerful.

Both will adjust obvious, but I do not think that there will be major adjustment, I mean you can't think old dogs new trick. Maybe Bivol will work more on the angles or the distance. Or maybe to increase his gas tank so that the judges will not see him as fading in the championship rounds.

And with that, Beterbiev will have to start early as well and not let Bivol take it over with his volume punching early. So still going to be very hard to predict although others might favor Bivol in the rematch because he could be more motivated to avenge his very close lost in the first fight.

If there will not be a major adjustment from the team of Bivol and their boxer's tactics, we can be quite certain that this fight might create another decision making where the judges might consider Beterbiev's punches to be more of these that are giving more impact similar to their fight before.

I will say again that Bivol should watch Rocky 3 where he has changed his trainer from Mikey to Apollo and his tactics from Marciano to Ali hehehehe. This will be very much inspiring for him.

But you have to consider where Bivol is coming from, his coach is Gennady Gushianov, who have been with him since 2014, so that is a stretch of 10 years and he hasn't lost a fight until his fight with Beterbiev. So it might be difficult for him to end their relationship, we didn't see Pacquiao do that to Roach during their legendary boxing-trainer career. And then who will will the replacement coach? he can't just shop like what AJ did when he lost to Andy Ruiz. And for sure, the bond between this Russians is hard to break. Bivol even said that he loves his coach and how easy boxing is for him because of Gennady Gushianov.

This is still an even fight, even though Beterbiev already has the edge with the first win. Like you said, it’s very close, and either boxer could win. Bivol is incredibly smart, and proof of that is how he managed to go the full 12 rounds, something most of Beterbiev’s opponents couldn’t do.

Not only can Bivol withstand Beterbiev’s power, but his ability to evade those powerful shots is what kept him in the fight. Maybe next time, he should consider being a bit more aggressive, but not to the point of making careless moves... you can’t give a knockout artist like Beterbiev any opportunities.

He took damage though, and maybe the punches have it's effect on him in the latter stage of the rounds that's why he sort of "slow down" and then Beterbiev was seen as the aggressor by the judges and so in close rounds, he was given the score.

Just imagine if he loses the rematch; it would significantly hurt his value. He’s likely trying to even the rivalry, and if he can pull it off, a trilogy could happen. I am not arguing that Bivol will leave his coach similar to Rocky 3. In this movie, Rocky's coach has died from a heart attack and his former enemy Apollo Creed has offered Rocky to be his new coach and this gave Rocky a new tactic and strategy where he began to float like a butterfly.

However yes, my argument was only that it might be good for Bivol to make similar adjustments and also float like a butterfly. This will be very much good to witness, I reckon.

However, the fight was not a loss or a winner. It was certainly an arguable decision from the judges because it can also be argued that Bivol had the victory for the fight. But similar to what I have predicted, the judges will judge the winner for who has created what appears to be the more hurtful punches. I will predict again that it will be similar for this rematch if Bivol will not make the adjustments and fly like a butterfly like Rocky in Rocky 3.

Yeah, Beterbiev could be one of generation talent as he has been dominating the light heavy weight and now the undisputed by beating his fellow Russians. And we though that he might be affected by his age, however, he proved us wrong by winning the first fight.

So for me, everything is on Bivol, as we are talking about what adjustments he should made in this fight in order to make it 1-1 between the two. Well.. that is definitely a factor. Beterbiev has participated in half the number of fights as Golovkin. Also, Golovkin had to face higher quality opponents. I am talking about guys such as Canelo Álvarez (3 times), Ryōta Murata and Daniel Jacobs. On the other hand, Bivol was perhaps the toughest opponent for Beterbiev. And that also partially explains his unbelievable record of 20 knockouts from 21 matches. Anyway, let's not make a comparison between Golovkin and Beterbiev. It's not going to be Apple vs Apple.
