He is capable of that movement, whether his head or his feet as he has good stamina as well, although it seems that he faded in the championship round. But it could be that he took a lot of hurt and damage. So still on the shoulder of Bivol if he can make the right adjustments and strategies in the rematch.

Yes, I was waiting for a reply from the boxing experts in this forum like you and bisdak because I am very much aware that only you bisdak and a few others might understand the problem that it is not if Beterbiev's punches are really hurtful for Bivol. The problem is what will the judges see on ringside and what might appears to be the more hurtful punches that might appear cause more damage. These are the punches of Beterbiev in their fight before. The very simple adjustment is improve footwork and the stamina to maintain footwork after round 6.

I have also speculated this before, however, the fight that we have witnessed did not give this type of reaction for me where I say that Bivol was weakened by his wife's negative declarations against him in social media.

I think Bivol didn't mentioned any of that, no excuses for him as he says that Beterbiev could be the better fighter. But yeah, maybe it has some mental effect on him, but nevertheless, we've seen that he did try to win the fight, unfortunately, Beterbiev has the finishing touches.

Of course, this two headed Russians are good for the boxing so we want 1-1 and wanted a trilogy. And they did have a big support from Saudi and so with that, hopefully Bivol can make it even in this fight but it's going to be very hard as Beterbiev does want to cement his legacy in this division, although his is getting older.

It was actually Beterbiev as the favorite in the beginning, but when the fight was cancelled because of Beterbiev's injury, the odds shift to Bivol because odd makers think that it might affect Beterbiev's performance.

But in the end, Beterbiev proved that he had recovered from that injury and there are no signs that it made his slow down in this fight. On the other hand, Bivol was not able to sustain, while the power of Beterbiev might have caught up with him and wear him down.

However, predicting the outcome remains difficult because Beterbiev is older than Bivol and is known for his power, whereas Bivol is known for his technical skills.
So, in my opinion, it will not end 1-1. Beterbiev will win again against Bivol, but overall, this is a 50/50 fight that no one can predict who will win.

Right, adjustments should be in Bivol's corner, Beterbiev strategy is very effective in wearing Bivol and his power was the main reason why Bivol slow down in the last couple of rounds. It's just a question on what Bivol need to change, and as you have said it could be his foot work so that he can avoid the power punches of Beterbiev.

Or look for angles and not so overly aggressive and think that he can just walk down a superior boxer. Not sure how strong Beterbiev's body, as Bivol can target it as well to take the air out of Beterbiev and so his punches might not be as powerful as he is feeling the effect on the body shots.

A nice rematch, the first match was such an enjoyable match. Bivol started well in the first three rounds, he boxed very effectively, we saw Beterbiev in the following rounds, he had his best round in the fourth and after.

I think it's not about disciplined, he had show it in his previous fight, it's more on the execution of their game plan. They only like executed it in the first half of the fight, after that Bivol was not that effective in the second half. There were rounds like that Bivol is throwing a lot of punches, but suddenly he will be stop in his tracks with just one punch from Beterbiev. So he needs to cover his chin as well and be cautious and aware that Beterbiev can counter him.

And he shouldn't trade with a power puncher like Beterbiev, and in terms of cardio, maybe this is the first time that we have seen Bivol shows weakness.
