Unfortunately not everyone has the privilege to not work and focus on themselves that’s why they never improve in terms of the job they land on. Since they don’t have the time to focus on themselves and their skills, they remain only on a specific level and their wages are also the same.

The life of an ordinary worker is fixated on work, all his time is spent on doing work that brings profit to the owner. To break this vicious circle and escape from this cycle, you need to take drastic measures - a leap into the unknown. Namely, try new directions and leave your comfort zone. It is not a fact that you will be lucky, but if you don't try, then you will never be lucky. A less painless option is to look for new directions in parallel with work (or in your free time) and improve your value in the labor market, and a more painful one is to quit your job and focus on searching in extreme conditions of financial deficit (in the absence of work, they are rapidly depleted). It seems to me that the second option is the most effective, because it allows you to concentrate all your resources and start acting, because if you don't do this, you will have to return to the previous level (+ with current losses), or lose. Such shock therapy is a springboard to change (not necessarily positive ).

Some jobs make it difficult for people doing that job to take time to improve themselves. You may want to change your situation or the job you are working in and move to a more comfortable area. For this, you should take time for yourself, develop your skills and do what needs to be done for your goal. Are you saying that taking a break is also stressful? But, when we take a break we can choose to not do any activity. It can be relaxing actually at most times. The idea of taking a break is good mate, as it helps us to remove our stress for a while that already build up in our head or body. That way we can function much better by the time we return in our designated tasks.

The problem is that when you already have responsibilities that you are taking care of with you salary, if you don't have a job anymore to carter for your responsibilities, how will you relax and focus on your skill with empty stomach. Especially, when you have a family to take care of. It's a job that will put food on your table that will be your priority.

Even though we have a job, relaxing is still a myth. Some actually thinks that they can only relax if they don't have a job. It is true if they have savings, or they have someone to rely on when they are jobless. The relaxation feeling might only be for the short term though because boredom can strike later on and we will now decide to hunt for a job again. This is the funny thing here.

Actually it depends on our time management because in the end sometimes people who say they don't have free time don't mean they really spend their time, but they don't use their time as well as possible and can't manage their time well so it seems as if they don't have time in the 24 hours they have done.

The concept of overemphasizing ego and the desire to have fun is also always a condition that sometimes we actually waste time because it can be realized even by myself who often feels that in the end our free time does exist, it's just that we like to do things that are sometimes not very useful which in the end ignores something important.
Not that everyone is always like this but in the end the average is like that. It is undeniable that there are a lot of people who do spend time in 1 day to work tirelessly but on the other hand there are still many people who sometimes make excuses for not having time when they are actually lazy and cannot manage time properly.

It can be extremely demoralizing to lose a job and feel like a discarded part, so it is bound to knock the confidence of some people when they face this outcome. However business has to be dynamic to survive and unfortunately reducing or rearranging employees is required for the rest of the company to survive. If someone is able to walk away with some sort of severance package then it might give them the flexibility to do the things you mention and take a few weeks, or even months, out from the job market. However it is a scary idea for most and you usually need to start lining up job interviews quickly because in the current turbulent market you're not sure if that offer will come in 2 weeks or 3 months later after a lot of attempts.

Not really, taking a break is not stressfully rather I meant involving in two different activities as op stated. For example, I consider taking a break as waste of time because I don’t expect anyone to take a break while there’s an opportunity to work, learn and earn, the concept of learning and working sounds stressful although everyone is different probably both activity can continue without a break. I’m concerned about the well-being of the person after making such move because he/she feels they need an improvement definitely improvement is needed the other way round not losing a job at the moment yet the best option anyone could come up with is taking a break first maybe they should learn first what the business or job is all about before making further plans to avoid failure.

Unemployment benefits exist for this reason. You pay ot uof your own salary and get to work for years in a row just so you can get some unemployment benefit money for a few months.

But remember that there are countries that respect this right of yours and make their system in a way that accepts giving something back, and a few others that don't give anything at all back while taxing you with the same harshness or worse.

America needs a better social state. And you know that too. When facing job insecurity it's goot to get some benefits to have the freedom to survive.

I agree with this, and I can understand this because I'm also the sole breadwinner for the family and I know I won't be able to work on myself or my skills if I lose my job which is my only source of income because I will immediately have to find another source of income so that my family doesn't face problems. If I start building myself, and my skills and try to start something that I want to do for myself, my family will suffer and I can't let that happen because it's my responsibility to take care of them.

Only a person who doesn't have the responsibility of taking care of other people can do such a thing because they might be able to manage themselves because when you only have to take care of yourself, you can do that even if you don't have a job for a few months and have at least some savings, but with a family, your savings won't get you far.

You need to do something about it, have yourself a great improvement so much so that you do not even fear it, and you reach a point where you are sought after. If you can do that then you are going to make some good income without a doubt, it would allow you to have some good return without a doubt.

I am pretty sure that we are going to end up with a good return one way or another, and if that is reached, then we are going to end up with a good return one way or another. What should those people do who were laid off due to the bankruptcy of the enterprise? Are they guilty of anything? Why should they dig into themselves if it is the employer's fault? This is exactly what happened to me during Covid. In addition, my state did not give me a single penny so that I could somehow stay on the job. They simply abandoned me to the mercy of fate. Now I do not doubt for a second that there is no hope for the government. Let it be damned once and for all. I was able to survive this difficult time and became much stronger morally. Yes, I was able to reconsider many aspects not only on a personal level, but also of the territory in which I live.

It is called the transition process from routine activities. I also do the same thing after not working trying to reflect on myself to try to see every condition in a new way, learn, enjoy and examine. I have already learned what you are writing about. It is a pity that before all this I was so naive and counted on some outside help. This was my main mistake, which came back to haunt me. At this point in time, I am trying to protect myself as much as possible. How? The way you have already written about. I am creating several sources of income. In a county like mine where there employment rate is very poor, we have thousands of graduates every year from different universities without having any jobs to sustain them self.. but they still have to survive and to do this they find themselves some skills for the time being. Yes, we do have our hidden talents on which we cant be able to show it up because we do really isolate ourselves when it comes into our own job and focusing into it. Its not really that bad to focus but we do know that there are really things that we must really be that needed up to do at least to have that kind of progress or trying out to think out of the box because if we do really just that limit ourselves into this then we wont really be able to progress. Having no job is really that a huge challenge specially that living or just simply focusing on how you do eat 3x a day does require money and if you dont have money? Then you would really be having that messed up life.

It is easy to say, but I don't see this working for those people with a huge load of responsibilities on their necks. If they try to think your way or even venture into business, they must have achieved some success before it can be feasible, not that they will do that in poverty or with less funds. Many people were sacked or retrenched unplanned, the money will certainly not fall from the skies for them to wait that long to think or invest/do business with it. Many are not just happy about the situation they find themselves but they must continue to hustle to survive. And I am sure that if most people are asked to be the CEO of themselves, the majority will want that with passion.

Many are in this situation, especially in a third-world country; they are the breadwinner of their family, which is why they cannot afford to be out of work for a long period of time. And also, in a third-world country, the job is scarce; they will have a hard time finding a job if he has a long layoff. Companies will consider applicants who are active in their skill rather than someone who has several months or years of gap.
So even if they want to upgrade their skill, they have limited options because they need a job.

I think it is normal people being so desperate to get a job even without having the required skills that is needed for the job, they just try their best to see if they can be lucky to get the job.

Because of responsibilities and how to meet up with daily expenses it won't be easy for anyone to just lose his/her and job and for the person to just remain like that and not searching for another one immediately especially when one only depend on a particular job. Sometimes the reason why people lose their job it is not because of lack of skill, sometime it could be because they were not able to meet up with a policy in the place of work.

No one prays or wish to become jobless. It's just that somethings in this life are unpredictable and when such time comes we just have to adjust to it. There's always a way to find money you just have to find that which will suit your current self. In a county like mine where there employment rate is very poor, we have thousands of graduates every year from different universities without having any jobs to sustain them self.. but they still have to survive and to do this they find themselves some skills for the time being. And some might even make it through those skills..

There is no sane person who will pray for him to become unemployment and we have never heard of it is done by a sane person. You are more fortunate to live in a country whose unemployment rate is very small because maybe resources or jobs are available there, but if you live in my country then without good skills in finding work far more difficult. We are faced with far worse conditions after Covid and many people who lose their jobs are still unemployed.

Under conditions like now we have to see opportunities to make money and even have to work that is not a profession. Higher education diplomas do not guarantee decent jobs because the available jobs are quite limited, not to mention talking jobs that do not have internal people, it is certain that it will be difficult to accept.
