still, the currency or points used will have an exchange rate to fiat. it is not much different from other online casinos. I see that kind of thing will still be like gambling as long as there is something at stake.

Trust me, as long as there is no incentives it's wouldn't be interesting. There is going to be two challenges from different side, the developers and the players. I actually thought of that too.  What is the essence of playing a game that has no chance of winning some real money.  Like you said, It could be done by some newbies or those that are afraid of playing real Casino to avoid loss.  But how can someone be afraid of risk of loss why everything about life risk, including the life we are even living is also a risk. I will deposit money for what exactly? For initiation or transaction fee?
