Naija Christmas Raffle Draw

Still in the mode of Christmas celebration and to commensurate with my birthday this December,  I will be conducting a raffle draw for the Nigeria Board members to join me in the spirit of celebration. This raffle will be drawn on the 25th December if the spots are all occupied before then but if not, it would be on till it is fully occupied then the raffle draw would take place.

I am doing this from my hearth and so far my years on this platform which has imparted me more knowledge coupled with fact that I have been opportune to  meet and learn from reputable members here as well. This raffle will be holding every year December with an increase in the raffle prize as the time goes on.



Raffle Prize $20 USDT


I will keep the rules for participation simple and short;

1) Only one spot per participant.
2) No alt and if discovered the participant would be disqualified.
3) Pick a number as there would be no room for random as it would be ignored.
4) You must be an active member of the Naija local board.
5) Must be a full member rank and above.


When choosing a number, it should be in this format;, 01- CryptSafe, I have the sole right to update and remove any participation rules as the case may be. The raffle number runs from 0 to 99.

This is a nice initiative @ CryptSafe for organizing this Raffle draw to celebrate the Christmas this year for members of our local community. But however, I think this Raffle draw lacks some important key points, such as what measures will the winner be selected?  Because inasmuch as I'm interested in participating in this Raffle draw, I just want to be rest assured that it's outcome will be fair, transparent and 100% justifiable without physical interference.

So if you don't mind, How do you intend to determine the winner of this contest? Since you are not a casino.

The raffle draw is about a random number that will be picked from the raffle draw. If the number you choose becomes the number CryptSafe picks from the raffle draw, then you will become the winner of the raffle draw.

Hello everyone! I was asked to join the thread by @CryptSafe to help with the raffle draw to ensure it shows fairness - We do these quite often in the collectibles forums as well and they tend to work out really well!


So, all you need to do to participate is select a number that has not yet been chosen (no random and if you select one already selected, I will post HERE in the thread that you need to reselect.
As stated in OP the raffle is open until all spots are filled - once they have been all filled, I will select a future Bitcoin block that is at least 10 blocks past the closing of the raffle. Then the winner will be selected by using the last 2 numbers in the blocks hash.

Let me show an example.

EXAMPLE:

BLOCK 876069 - block hash: 0000000000000000000161a0608887bcddcca3d408a56842fb3bd47e9029aad8


in the example above the last 2 numbers are "98" so whoever had selected "98" would have been the winner. - if you have any questions please let me know!

It's quite interesting to see different competitions coming from the Naija Local board. Nice initiative OP, even though the chance to becoming the lucky winner looks very thin. But if I may ask, how is the raffle draw going to be carried out ?.

I appreciate the effort you guys are putting to keep our local board busy this festive season as this is one way of building unity and solid bond among comrades. E no easy to give out over N30k for this Tinubu economy so kudo to those of you who thought it wise to give back to the community and I know una reward dey road dey come because no be talk am but na baba wey dey heaven.

I'm not too lucky with raffle draws but make I try my luck with this number which is like the middle number. I just hope say I go win because to chop your money go sweet me die.
