If a gambler does not have time to gamble during holiday which is very possible, no need to gamble. But for a gambler that have time and feel like gambling, while not just gamble. People are different from one another and we are occupied with different events this time but there are some gamblers that will still gamble and some will not gamble this time.

I just used this time to take some rest. Gambling is there anytime so, everyone that's too hyper needs to take some time to rest.

I think the majority has got a lot of money to spend for and it's not just the gamblers. But it's up to us on how we're going to allocate it. That's why we need to take some rest for the budgeting that will happen again in the next few days, maybe before new year's eve.

There is no difference from the typical days if ever I bet for some games that I am very interested.

I don't have a strict gambling schedule. If the opportunity to gamble presents itself, I will especially now if I find myself in a social gathering where gambling is one of the social bonding activities. I think people who say they don't gamble during the holidays take gambling too seriously. The holidays are just every other work day without work and the stress comes with it.

For me personally, I don't usually have a budget for gambling during holiday seasons; all my budget is based on family expenses, and my little pocket money maybe that's where I could spare some to gamble if there is a chance for me to do that.
 
I have a friend who starts making a separate savings for a holiday each time that we just have 4 months to the Christmas season, and this savings is for all the unwise expenses, which he includes gambling, clubbing, and anything that he can't give an account for. Some gamblers can also do such in order to have more money to gamble with during that season; that's for those that will have plenty of time to spend in gambling.

A major reason why I don't give much time to gambling is because of my work. That is why I gamble monthly during weekends when I am not going to work. Holidays allow me to gamble to my satisfaction. It is common to see old friends who live in other cities visit our area during Christmas. So this holiday period will be a time to meet them in mostly physical casinos where we can discuss, have fun and share drinks. It is usually a good time to gamble and watch sporting events in a physical betting shop with friends.

I have a gambling budget regardless of the time or occasion. My gambling plan is aligned with my earnings that why the season will not affect how much emark for gambling.

Gambling is not a job neither is it some skill like trading and many other skills rather it's just a leisure activity or should be a leisure activity though some people take it beyond that which isn't supposed to be so. Anyways my point is it's not right to feel odd if you don't gamble a few days based on my school of thought. Christmas and holidays is a time for family if you ask me especially for a busy person.
Spending time with family you may not end up having time to gamble but still during that period it's not bad to if you feel less busy but it's not definitely a must.

My tradition is not to gamble during the holidays. holidays like Christmas and New Year are expensive enough so why would I make it more expensive by gambling during it? I would also just spend more time with the family and catch up with relatives that I rarely see than gamble.

Spending time with family you may not end up having time to gamble but still during that period it's not bad to if you feel less busy but it's not definitely a must.

I have been very busy since morning because of the festive period and tomorrow is fixed with different activities which should be fun and it would be in a way I can not have time for gambling. So I can not have time for gambling this time. But if you read some people that are posting, you will see some people that will have entirely different opinions. Some people will post that they will even be with friends and gamble with friends. Some people may have many free time which they might use it to gamble. Even I will not surprise if some spouses are together and yet gamble together tomorrow with little amount of money.

I think a gambler will generally do it more during any casual free time that they get available, so it's bound to go up during the holidays and potentially more can be spent. You'll be surprised how much someone who is heavily into a certain activity will find money to spend on it, maybe even to the detriment of their friends and family at this festive time. Once you get beyond the initial honeymoon phase of gambling, which might last a month if you're lucky, then it becomes more of routine than a celebration of anything. However if you're talking about casual gamblers, they might actually cut back during this time because they are being a lot more sensible with their limited money.

for most holidays mostly during Christmas or end of year, chance of gambling is usually not the case but what is a major determinant that stops most persons from gambling is that they try to cut cost and avoid unnecessary expenses that might be a major source of a reduction in the funds that have budgeted for the season. there are certain amount you might loose during a season as this that will completely destabilize you to the peak, the best way to prevent things as such from happening is to take a break during major holiday aa this. it does not take too long for the holiday to finish and more over, most games will be on hold so it will e tough to see some interesting games you want to even bet on.

In my personal position, I don't have enough money to cover both the Christmas expenses of my family and also to gamble some money on the usual casinos I like to visit through the year. It is not a matter of tradition whatsoever or a matter of time, because how the market stands today and the access we all have to technology, it is possible to gamble quite comfortablly at any moment we are not celebrating these holidays with our family.

Even though I had the money to spend both on my family and gambling, I think I would try to be careful anything and not to dedicate more than than usual budget to the casino, just because it is Christmas and there are some interesting bonuses, does not mean we won't keep our discipline intact and stick to gambler what we can afford to lose.

The holidays happen only once every year, while gambling can be done any other day, so my policy regarding gambling is very clear and that is to not gamble at all during these days, since it is way more important to spend time with my family and create precious memories than gambling, besides I am sure that many of those that would like to gamble cannot afford to do it either, since this is a time in which many expenses are incurred and there is not a lot of discretionary income left for our hobbies.

For me I dont feel any pressure during the holidays to gamble, its the same for
me throughout the year actually.

O can imagine for those who have a gambling addiction the holidays will be the same
as the rest of the year, they will have to place bets.

Its the same as any addiction, its just another day regardless of the time of year,

People are busy in some festivals especially in religious events people usually keep themselves busy so on the occasion of Christmas, Eid Mubarak of Muslims, Saraswati Puja of Hindus, etc. they are usually busy in religious events and spend very little time here in gambling. But I spend more time with family during my Eid here I don't participate in gambling and on other holidays if I have special free time then I participate in gambling.

Nah, I do not think that gamblers are going to rest during this holidays, maybe some of them are going to celebrate Christmas inside a casinos. I have a dealer friend who unfortunately, have to work during the 24th and he says that he still see a lot of gamblers in the floor despite it's Christmas time.

And not with the advent of online gambling, it's very easy for everyone to go and play and gamble this holiday. But for me, no, I wouldn't gamble and would rather have time with my family this season.

Everyone's vacation is certainly different, as is the way they enjoy it, maybe some people enjoy their vacation by gambling to fill their vacation time, besides that I think they are not taking leave but this is their vacation time to enjoy moments with their families together, but not everyone enjoys their time with their families, some enjoy it by gambling alone or with their friends.

I myself do not gamble on holidays at this time, because it is not a special tradition in the current situation. maybe people out there have interesting traditions, I myself am curious and want to know.
