Yes, it depends on each person's situation. If we are busy people and don't have much time for family during the year. And holidays are the only time we have the chance to be with our family, we should put aside all work and personal interests to gather with our family. But if we work and live with our families, we can do whatever we want during the holidays, including gambling.

It depends if one is busy or not but I think this is a busy moment of the year whereby many gamblers won't even have much time to concentrate in gambling. As for me this is a busy moment that I can't even think of gambling,  even to follow up with some sport games I found it very difficult. This is the end of the year that people are thinking so many things on how to end the year and begin a new plan for the coming year. For those who are ready busy this period their is no need to force oneself to play gambling,  because this is a game that one needs to focus and concentrate to play,  not just to gamble blindly.

I agree with you; I'm also a little concerned with some other replies here, but yours is on point. I don't understand why some people take gambling that seriously, even during the holidays. Don't get me wrong; I'm not a huge fan of them either. It doesn't make too much of a difference; after all, it's still another day, but it's nice to get a rest from work and change the scenery a little bit. I am personally going to take a small break, unless I hop on for a few games every once in a while, but nothing special. There are no matches in the Greek Super League either, which is the one I'm participating in the most, so on the one hand, it's nice to take it easy for a while.

There's no reason to potentially ruin a family dinner or a night out because you lost your bankroll in gambling.

A perfect example of risk management. During vacations not all establishment pay their workers and so if the expenses  including gambling is coming from saved money then it will become a problem if risk management isn't applied. I am also on break and the rule of the establishment where I work is no payment during breaks and holidays so this period we fall back to all we have saved

Gambling during festive period can be deceitful if not proper watched. I bet also but I ensure proper risk management to avoid been stranded or looking for loans to sustain till I get my next paycheck which will definitely be at the end of the new month. I still create time for my family in all.

For me, when the holiday season arrives like now, enjoying a holiday with my family is the most enjoyable thing.
