I think it would depend on the type of lottery we would be talking about to begin with, if it is a lottery which allows gamblers to win smaller prizes by scoring a few numbers during the drawing process, then it would be positive to buy more than one ticket, perhaps two or three would be ideal for the sake of increasing chances.

Repurchasing tickets or not on which it wont really be giving out that assurance that you can be able to win up the lottery on which we know that this is really that basing up with probabilities and we do know that lotteries does have that almost close to impossible kind of winning rate on which there's no way that you can be assure that you do able to hit it up if you have decided on putting up on the same numbers all over again. It's not smart IMO.

I've watched a lot of videos from people that were into lotteries and they keep on purchasing the same lotto tickets and numbers from time to time.

But did they won? some of them did but they're not into jackpots. Even if they won, they're not into break even and they're still at loss but they seem to enjoy doing this strategy and I can't complain if someone keeps on doing this.

I would not even recommend for anyone to strategize betting on lottery. There is no logic here no mathematical explanation just pure luck or coincidence. I will believe in the saying that, "If it is our lucky day, we will win no matter what numbers we pick."
