Elon’s feud with the Ryanair CEO continues.

He made this post on X in response to the CEO’s jabs.

“The insufferable, special needs chimp currently running Ryan Air is an accountant. Has no idea how airplanes even fly.“

I love that Elon is so rich he can do stuff like this. I should probably reach out to his legal defense fund. Clearly the best libel lawyers on the planet. God bless Elon Musk. He is probably the only irreplaceable human being on the planet right now.

Joe Rogan dropped a three hour interview with Elon Musk today. I’m about halfway through it and it has been great so far. They talked a lot about SpaceX and the Cybertruck. The new Roadster being the greatest product unveil of all time… Now they’re bashing Gavin Newsome. A great watch   

Wow, you have a very strong listening spirit, because I can't seem to bring myself to listen to Elon interviews. The man can go more than a minute without throwing jabs, and the worst part of his interviews is the few seconds of silence in between, but what do I know, he his rich enough to say whatever he feels like and however he wishes to express himself doesn't matter.

Actually the Ryanair ceo is correct and doesn't want to sacrifice low fares for ordinary people by adding some fancy bullshit tech thats not needed.This is why hundreds of millions have cheap fares all across europe. It seems he knows a lot more about airlines than Elon and comes from a country that has along history of aeronautical engineering expertise and aircrasft leasing pedigree. A lot of the aircraft engineers and execs in our country are also from Ireland for some reason so it seems people there like this Ryanair ceo know their business.

At the center of the dispute is Starlink, Musk’s high-speed satellite internet divsion of SpaceX. Ryanair has made clear it has no intention of installing Starlink on its aircraft, arguing that the added weight and drag from antennas would increase fuel burn and costs that ultra-low-cost passengers simply would not pay for. For an airline built entirely around ruthless cost discipline and short-haul flying, O’Leary insisted the math does not work.

Musk, whose business interests include Starlink and the social media platform X, strongly disagreed. He took to X to argue that Ryanair’s leadership was misinformed about the technology and suggested that airlines without onboard connectivity would lose customers. The exchange quickly turned personal, with O’Leary dismissing Musk as “an idiot” who knows nothing about aviation, and Musk firing back that Ryanair’s CEO should be fired.

I’ve always got a podcast going on in the background pretty much no matter what I’m doing. A couple of my favorites are Joe Rogan and Lex Friedman.  Some of their best podcast episodes are the ones with Elon Musk.

Why does he want to waste all the money on an outpost on Mars?  We can get all research from drones and the outpost wouldn't have to be destroyed if there were clouds on launch day on earth.

Mars will never be a colony - you can't grow food in regolith (no organic matter) and you are one missing part away from instant catastrophic failure.

He is not that kind of person that holds back when he feels under attack and his beef with Ryanair’s CEO is a perfect example of it. Almost everything he says is always controversial, and I think this is why he is always in the news. You can love him or hate him, but one thing is for sure: he always manages to keep himself at the center of attention.

Anyways, there must be other political and economical interest which Elon and Trump agree in, otherwise the former would have not gotten out his way to fully endorse Trump and pay for his campaign.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk partnered not because they share totally thesame ideologies but because they just want Democrats out of the White House. They have some areas in which they share thesame thoughts like opposition to gays, abortion and illegal immigration. But they will have to find common grounds in areas where they have divergent orientations. And it seems Trump wants the friendship to last long that was why he supported the billionaire during the H-1B visa debate. To the disbelief of his strong supporters, the incoming President said he believed in the visa program.

You've got a good point, but its funny to see the two cooperate, which I believe they are playing games which its never known, maybe they haven't achieve their purposes yet but I agreed to what you said.
Which means that Trump can still compromise on certain issues, which might depend on status or what they offer. But, whatever thing that is going between their two, should be of good and beneficial to the people and not a curse to people.

I watched a short interview with Elon today.  He appears calmer, hopefully he's off the stimulants!  He says he wants to extend our consciousness past our planet, in case a disaster happens here.

I'm not sure he is getting all the information, just like his old partner DJT.  There is no place in our solar system to set up another colony - all we can do is set up outposts that are 100% reliant on earth.    Just like von Neumann probes, a colony is impossible.  Like billions of other civilizations before us, we will destroy ourselves. 

When I was younger, I cheered NASA on, and looked to the stars like many of us.  We had hope of expanding to the stars!  Now that we know everything moves through spacetime at a fixed rate, we can't reach any other stars.  We'll never communicate with aliens.  But we do have a planet that is going to kill us all if we don't start respecting it.  We need to rapidly move away from fossil fuels - and if fusion is not possible, we're cooked.

A criminal or just a smart gut? people would have different perspectives. yes he lack moral authenticity and under his management has failed on another level with his chaotic leadership skills. yes he tweets insane comments and take political side when its not needed for him to do so. however we have to think of Elon Musk as some what of an insanely smart person, he has taken tesla which is some thing he did not create or invent and mad eit into some thing desirable for everyday people to use. he also was the first person to normalize reusing rockets which allow the time frame of testing to be cut and reduces cost, this is some thing no one had ever done before. can his achieve be over shadowed by his action yes.

It's not a choice for stupid people not to be one. Also he doesn't handle well his emotions, so he acts out without thinking and his childish need for attention doesn't help. And since there are no repercussions for his actions, he doesn't need to change

Only thing that's probably restricting him, is his desperate need for approval for his identity, which seems to change with the crowd he is with. But he gets around that by acting like everything is a joke to him, and because his army of simps cheer him for anything he says.

That's why he also avoids hard or technical questions, or gives vague answers. Because every time he opens his mouth, his ignorance becomes obvious for anyone who knows anything about that subject. And his image as a smart, rebel and eccentric quickly falls under spoiled and ignorant a-hole.

He is also considered to be smart, because generally everyone connected to silicon valley startups is assumed to be familiar with the tech.

Also being richest man who owns spacex, makes people think he must be some sort of inventor. But he is not, he is just investor.
