Elon converted Tesla ownership in xAI to SpaceX shares ahead of the IPO. This gives Tesla about a $5 billion dollar stake in SpaceX. With Tesla and SpaceX having so many synergies already, they seem destined to join together to create the most valuable company on earth. That leads to the question… Which investment currently will lead to a larger stake in the eventual combined company?

The great Elon Musk has been a bit on a lowkey since the US and Israel started the questionable war against Iran. Seriously unlike many public figures who quickly take sides or make strong political statements during global conflicts, Musk has mostly stayed quiet about the political side of the situation, Although he played his role during the protest tactics. so far, he has not really said much about the politics of the war publicly. But instead, most of his comments have focused on how the conflict has driven record traffic to his platform X. As the situation escalated, many people rushed to the platform to follow breaking news, updates and reactions in real time.

The White House has rejected Elon Musk’s offer to pay the TSA worker salaries. I don’t really like seeing them play politics like this where innocent people aren’t getting paid to make a point. Denying people help to shine a light on those hurting them doesn’t seem like the best way to handle things.

Elon Musk is now offering 6% interest on deposits with his new X Money program.  This is a pretty crazy high interest rate.  Tempting to find some cheap funding sources and play carry-trade games, but that isn't my style.  Still, at 6% holding cash starts to become a bit attractive.  Especially if you have been sitting in cash earning 3.4% for some time now.  I highly recommend people take a look at this as an alternative to money market accounts.

Dear elon, why not 6.66%?

Why stop there? Why not 6.9% or just make it 69%?

It is actually shocking that he’s able to offer such a high percentage to users of his platform. I wonder how long it will last. I can borrow money below 6% right now and bond funds I’m invested in only pay 4.65%. There are probably trillions of dollars sitting in lower yields than this…

I feel like Elon Musk probably has access to some of the most advanced weaponry in the world. At some point this could become problematic. The amount of wealth and power he has access to is shocking.
