It seems people still don't want to accept the fact that the Fed is the holder of national reserves, not the US government. So Trump wanting to make Bitcoin a national reserve is a huge challenge because he would need to convince the Fed to change its stance, and honestly, I'm not optimistic about that. Because the Fed is outside the control of the US government and no president in history has been able to object to or interfere with the decisions of the Fed. Furthermore, the idea of ​​turning bitcoin into a national reserve is not his top priority, he has more important tasks to do with the United States. I don't see Bitcoin hitting 200k or even falling back to 70k or below,  there's some sort of very strong resistance around the 85k which if broken it's going to cause so much asset fall which may whales who move the market would not want happening because they will be on the loosing side moreover Bitcoin is expected to do some more moves due to the president effect from the US and so that on its own is another serious reason for a price improvement and volatility.

On the day he takes office I don't think there will be any influence on the price, and in any case it will be downwards because of ‘buy the rumour sell the news’. The only way I see the price going up significantly that day is if he signs an executive order to buy bitcoin and publicises it. Contrary to what you think, I believe on the the of Donald Trump inauguration bitcoin price will surge because he is still going to make mention of bitcoin in his first speech as President. To let the people know that there is no going back on his promises on bitcoin. Even if he doesn't sign an executive bill that particular day. But so far as he make mention of bitcoin in his speech, bitcoin is going to surge upward because of that alone. Hell, in my opinion, will be lower than 50k and I doubt that will happen.

There will be more enthusiasm around bitcoin and that will mean investors will buy more which will increase the price, but not by much his time. I believe is not by much because his swearing-in is not news like the election win was in the sense that people didn't know if he would win the election so they decided to wait and see what happens, but this time around, people know he's going to be sworn in and they even know the date of his swearing-in so what even decision they will make has already been made, no need to wait till then.

It's probably back to the 75k - 90k range. i don't expect below than it consider when Bitcoin is officially a part of US reserves, the big hype will come. It's kinda impossible to see lots of Bitcoin holders to offload their coins while it's used by US as their treasury.

I don't think it's possible that hell will happen and drop to 70k. It's not possible, but if it does, it will make a huge comeback.

For me I really don't know what and where to place the price of Bitcoin if Donald trump himself doesn't do anything significant enough to actually influence the price of Bitcoin and one of them would be to change the current sec chairman of which I believe his regime will soon come to end with the swearing in of Donald trump's as the presidential of the united states.

Is like when you have faith in something it will come to pass or you believe something is going to happen. If Trump is the key for Bitcoin price to be on a very higher level/price then I'd want it to be more than what you asking OP, I'd want the ATH to be more than $200k at least from $250k and above. The market movement has to give something positive for that amount ($250k) to come to light and I won't want Bitcoin price to dip at this early stage of this year, let the business be in our favor.

For me, in the main time no one can predict the outcome of Bitcoin price after Trumps inauguration. Actually Bitcoin has already a great push during the time of his win and now it has remain suspended. Now people are looking up this to him if he emgerges into office wether he will keep to his promises or not. If he keep to his promises then more people will be triggered to invest but if not most people will decline and Bitcoin may dip more. But even as that I don't have any plan to sell anything soon, my desire is to stack more Bitcoin to my portfolio and hodl without considering the price. After all we are still at the earliest stage of Bitcoin.

Price is going to hell only if there is a chain of events to back such a sentiment up. If there is nothing to do so, then we are in for lots of news about the reserves, adoption, and so on - which is bullish, obviously.

In fact, the current market is not entirely FOMO, some people are still very cautious because there is no guarantee that Trump will keep his promises or repeat the pro-bitcoin statements like what he did during the campaign.

We should know that the Fed is an organization that is completely independent of the US government, which means that Trump will not be able to exert any impact or pressure on the Fed. The only person who can influence the Fed is Congress. So in case Trump insists on making bitcoin a national reserve, the only thing Trump can do is bring that proposal to Congress and pressure Congress to convince the Fed. But this is not entirely feasible and easy because not all congressmen support bitcoin and it will be difficult to avoid strong opposition from the Fed.

Honestly, I have never been bullish on this idea and it is too early to talk about bitcoin reserves.

It is very difficult to predict the price, it seems to me that whenever the price reaches more than $100,000, it starts to fall, it seems that many people are not very confident that the price could be higher than $110,000, that is why when the price reaches $101,000 to $108,000 people sell quickly and the price falls to $91,000, so in my opinion we will see the price oscillating between $91,000 and $108,000 for a long time.

IMO the markets will be scared, as always. They will react with fear as they always do, just as the bitcoin market reacted when ETFs started trading. People were disappointed by the results, even though the data was amazing. Sometimes the numbers show one thing and human mind thinks the other.

My prediction is that we will see sub $100k on the inauguration day, probably 98 or 99k and then it goes up a week or two later when the dust settles and people see there was nothing to fear.
By the time q2 of this year begins we should be at a new ATH, so above 110k.
Hard to say where the top will be because it depends on many things, but I don't expect us to go above 150k this cycle.
