Mmmm depends on so much things, because some sports i really like to see in the place or also i love to play it but seeing them via TV are awfull.
For example viewing tennis in TV is 90% of the time pure trash, but play it is very fun and you see the time flying.
Same happens with some motorsports.

I personally tennis, I have played it with friends a few times and one needs to get used to handling the racket before being able to keep a match for several minutes without committing some mistake. On the other hand, I don't particularly feel any interest on betting or watching tennis matches. I prefer to watch football which is more popular, have more volume and there are more analysis to be done when comes to star players and the way the can affect the outcome of a match.

That's a good way to have a discussion about the sport because they support a team to win and make a discussion on it. This is kind of making them good with the team, and they can help others with what they have known about different teams, players, and different factors connected to a sport. As said, when the money is added, automatically their perception could change along with a mind that always wants to win. In the past I used to bet only on players and teams about which I've got a better understanding. Those used to be good, but there won't be regular matches, and the same made me place bets on different sports in which I don't have much idea, and this is where I started to lose money. So, it is good to go with the sports one enjoys and not to place bets for money.

i am a sports fan before i am a gambler i watch sports and i bet on my predictions to amplify the entertainment and enjoyment i get from that sports i could not bet while watching a sport but it is always much more fun to look forward to the results knowing especially that you might win in the end so if your favorite team wins you are happy as a fan but you can be happier if you also win some money from betting on them

this leads me to thinking whether do people bet on sports they do not enjoy or are not a fan of? maybe there are people out there who are just really in for the money and they would bet on sports that are popular and they have a bigger chance on winning at even if they do not particularly enjoy them

I guess they get the dopamine whenever they make accurate predictions so they stick with the numbers and disregard everything else. For example, when analyzing a derby match they'll look at past form, current club forms, position on the table, referee on the match, etc. If I want to play a game I don't enjoy, I'd stick with looking at odds from bookmarked instead of doing what they do.

That could have been impossible to analyze something you don’t have knowledge about it or don’t even follow up the sport but with the way they have made data about different sport available online which you can easily access it and compare your result it’s easy for people to now do that all they just need do is to get the data about the particular team they want to study and get their past history and performance with up coming event they can easily draw conclusions from their even if it’s not accurate but they could get a close something.

I know someone who was feeding his family till his death with sports betting. He watched almost everything, bought newspapers, and analyzed every match. He was a fan of soccer, tennis, and basketball and I think he was like someone that you know, he was getting a thrill from analyzing matches even though he was betting on some sports that he wasn't watching but it was very rare.
Btw I suggest you never judge your bet by looking at odds from bookmakers because very often those odds are inaccurate. If you want to bet on a popular match, in most cases odds are accurate and really give you a picture of who is more likely going to win but on unpopular and unknown matches, odds are fake and sometimes a team with 1.05 odd might lose against a team with 10 odds.
