Anyways since the main thread of this topic is talk about sports we dont enjoy i also forget to mention one, i hate Volleyball matches, they are pretty boring, and i have to say maybe is much funnier when is in amateur levels than in professional ones, because in the professional Volleyball you already know what is gonn happen, serve, the other team receives good and BANG point for the receivers, or blocked, and start again.

Sometimes those sports you don't like might bring some luck if you give them a try, I also find volleyball to be very boring including cricket game but there's a punter on Twitter that makes money from these games. The patterns of these games are boring compared to football that's true but do you know that they have more interesting features and options to bet on? Sometimes the more we stick to what we know we remain static. Trying out new things can give you the opportunity to expand your knowledge or skills as a gambler, but it you are not comfortable with it then you can just avoid it.

You are right @taufik123, during the argument of gambling for only fun and only for financial benefits, I had come to agree that they are a bit similar with just a small difference, which is that, those that their primary aims is financial benefits, they see gambling as a source of income but those that says they are gambling for fun, they don't take gambling to be a source of income, they don't spend too much money on gambling, and they don't allow themselves become addicted but they will always feel happy and enjoy the winning they get.

The difference is small but will have a big impact, you just need to choose which one will be a priority, victory or fun.
Because each person's point of view will be different because gambling will involve money at stake.

People who are conscious of what they are playing only see betting or games in gambling as entertainment that will not continue to produce fun or luck,

It seems to me that there are not many people who are well versed in many sports and can, accordingly, deeply and accurately analyze what bets to make and when and on what sport. And when we talk about such a person who is well versed in many sports, then the time for studying all sorts of tricks and nuances increases many times over and only a small number of people can do this.

I always chat with friends who think they know a lot about sports and betting, but you know what? They never bet only talks about which team they support in X match etc.

I don't like combat sports at all. Especially sports that involve cage fighting. The men destroy each other and when the match is over, they hug each other and leave. I think sports should not harm people. Peace must be brotherhood. I don't think there is such a thing in combat sports.

That's true and I am a witness to that, it's also adventurous. You don't have to stick to the sports you like or that you are used to, you can explore, and who knows, you might begin to grow likeness, we should not be too rigid about anything. Gambling may be skill-based in some, particularly sports betting but the luck there can't be misunderstood still. That is why your less preferred sports may give you the needed luck at times more than the preferred ones, it happens.

Why not? If you are a sports fan in general, I am pretty sure you can find something enjoyable in a different sport or two even if it may be not your favorite.

Some sports only run for a specific amount of time so if you need something else to watch or bet on during the off season then it can be a good idea to go and learn a new sport. Sports are not that complicated most of the time or at least ball games. Fairly easy to get into.

i am a sports fan before i am a gambler i watch sports and i bet on my predictions to amplify the entertainment and enjoyment i get from that sports i could not bet while watching a sport but it is always much more fun to look forward to the results knowing especially that you might win in the end so if your favorite team wins you are happy as a fan but you can be happier if you also win some money from betting on them

this leads me to thinking whether do people bet on sports they do not enjoy or are not a fan of? maybe there are people out there who are just really in for the money and they would bet on sports that are popular and they have a bigger chance on winning at even if they do not particularly enjoy them

For some persons that love to dedicat most of their time into gambling, it might be easier for them to quickly and easily learn about different kinds of sports games and become vast in making predictions for those games and anyone they make up their mind to bet on for that day, but it can really be time consuming to make analysis for different games. I absolutely do not like watching curling. This sport seems absolutely strange to me. As well as bobsleigh. I am used to more classic sports, in which there is a dynamic confrontation between teams or individuals. I also used to like eSports, but then, due to a large number of things, I stopped following computer games, which are now at the top of eSports.

A person trying to learn the sport all because he wants to wager is not a fan of a sport. He meant to make money out of that sport without knowing it. At least he knows his priority but its always the case for gamblers.

For the fan of the sport, they may even be betting on his favorite club despite it having less chance of winning against the superior team. But yep if his intention is just to bet, I would agree on just watching the sports pickers.

I agree with you because I also absolutely cannot understand why people bet on horse racing and who would be interested in it. Although in general I am of course a sports fan and a completely different one. Although if bets on this sport have not died yet, then there are its fans and admirers, probably they are representatives of the old school of betting, when there were no bets on football and other sports. Of course I was not interested, but probably this is the very first type of sports betting, maybe that is why people like to bet on it. I prefer to bet on team sports, in which I fully understand and grasp the subtleties, in which I can feel my advantage.

If you are the type of person that spend more time on watching sports games, it will be easy for you to make a good bet that will bring smile on your face some time, but I will not tell you that you will be winning from your bet on the time because some games can change for people to lose their bet.

I don't involve myself to sports I don't enjoy betting , because is a wast of money to me, which is the reason I always prefer football sports  betting because it allow me to get joy whenever I'm betting. I believe that those who are really interested in horse racing and who place large bets accordingly are gentlemen, prim English dandies who look down on ordinary citizens. For them, ordinary citizens, fans of football, basketball, boxing, etc., who watch competitions in team sports and also place bets, are the lowest class of people. And of course, in the opinion of dandies, such simple people are not capable of understanding the subtle mental organization of these dandies themselves. And such people are also not able to understand all the charm, aesthetics and beauty of horse racing. But dandies understand this.
