You can't. You would be able to mine some, even Bitcoin, if you had this wish in 2009/2010 because, at that time, it was possible to mine Bitcoin with a CPU.

You might misunderstand what OP is trying to ask of word "mining". Cloud mining exists, and some company is legit offering it, well at least before, it's simply like renting the hardware asic mining online, depends amount of the offer the user wants. But most unreputed website offers using the same keyword "cloud mining" where its just a ponzi and where most are scam try to lure its users.

Still remember in the past where cloud mining was so famous that you were even willing to spend hundreds of dollars to buy the cloud hash, but that's where there were many victims where many investors suffered losses which eventually became a ponzi scheme.

I never thought of it as a scam but over time many sites fell into the scam and that's when I realized that it was just a ponzi scheme in cloud mining.
Even a few months a friend asked about a site like this concept immediately I forbade never investing because it was a scam.
Like those of us who know first will never try this dark historical fact. Lol

I mean the last time I heard about cloud mining is https://pool.binance.com/en/cloud Binance cloud mining but they always sold out.

I didn't know about the binance cloud mining but these days wherever you find any site offering cloud mining, it is more probably a scam. Its  hard to find any active legitimate cloud mining services these days. Another way to identify these scams is that these cloud mining sites will promise exceptionally high returns and they will claim no risk attach to their services. The newbies in crypto get attracted to these ponzi scheme structure and they later find out that they only lost their money.

I guess it's some kind of staking. Although it is quite unclear why they decided to call it cloud mining, knowing that it is a synonym for a scam scheme, and cloud mining is an unsustainable business model.
I believe that it is attractive to beginners because there they see an opportunity that they have heard about. Earn money without doing anything

It's funny, isn't it? It's funny that Binance has Binance Pool on their platform where they offer people to connect their miners to Binance Pool and maximize the miner's income, closing the gap between mining and trading. The funny thing is that Binance tries to convince miners to join their pool but at the same time, they offer cloud mining and convince people to invest in their cloud mining.

If I were OP, I would try trading instead of cloud mining. Just think about it, someone buying a miner, hiring a group of developers to create a website for you to rent a hashrate? And do you think that this scheme is made for you to profit? Of course, not.
