There have been quite a few cases of someone who has become poor or bankrupt because of their own excessive behavior in gambling, such as borrowing money to gamble, instead of wanting to get a big win that can drastically change their lives to become rich in the blink of an eye, but instead making them entangled in problems that are so difficult that some even end their lives in an unusual way because the stress they get from their own actions makes them depressed.

TBH, I can't say if gambling in general is either good or bad because... it's just a tool that we are using. Same with Bitcoin where we are both using it to make money. Unfortunately, people end it like that, they are cowardly and weak. Brave minds will do otherwise and we've seen those in the worst financial mess bouncing back to be better, how would they know that if they never gave it a try but ended it all?
