I swear VR will NOT be that exciting as most people expect it to be, at least in relation to gambling. If you were a social animal thats stuck at home then maybe, but you don't need to be a gambler to do that. Just go do that in VR chat lol. As for AR, pretty sure that's something to be excited about in general since it'd make walking around a whole new experience IF it was implemented properly. I honestly think we're still far from it though.

As for live casinos, they're already a thing? Not that much could be seen from it as an improvement imo. As for Smart Tables it's not for online casinos anyway. Sounds just a security thing. And if I wanted to see something for this year, it's me winning more.

What I hope for in 2025 in the gambling world is that there are not many people complaining to casinos and more gamblers gambling according to the Terms of Service. Augmented reality is similar to Virtual reality except it is not all virtually done. Augmented reality makes use of the real physical world while adding some 3d features and improving the overall experience while allowing the user to have some control over his surroundings. Together, it could set a whole new culture in the gambling sector.

2) Live Casino

• Online casino has allowed many people to be able to play casino games without needing to go a physical casino but some people may still want to feel the casino atmosphere which is why live casinos are being developed. Usually it is just a live stream of a game from the physical casino with the players from their own homes watching and having the chat box to place bets or interact with fellow gamblers. One i have tried myself and most excited about and can't wait for it to come alive in the gambling scene is Visual reality and argumented reality.

I've tried this two in video games and I can't wait to try it in gambling as well, I can still remember vividly my experience the day I wore a VR to play a race visual game, it felt like I was in there driving the race car myself whereas I was just sitted on a couch holding a game pad with both hands, I can tell you this was one of the most exciting experiences of my life, and being able to do this in gambling will be extremely fun.

It’s not, Unless you have an expensive VR device that can give you HD quality then I guess you’re right. The problem is most of the online user doesn’t have this VR device while there’s a live casino available which gives same experience for live gaming.

Tried to play before using the Metaverse VR but it makes me dizzy in the long run. I still preferred the typical live games since it gives you an option of 1080P video quality compared to VR that has low image quality.

Of all the individuals I know who gamble actively, there have been no one that have fantasized about virtual reality gambling. This is not going to make any difference in 2025. The more options and innovations there are in the gambling industry, the more difficult it is to get a chance to win, yes, I think the three points that OP mentioned have accidentally been felt by some gamblers in general, such as 3D, live casino and so on.

I said, the first thing that casinos should seriously consider is player convenience. If later their way of making players comfortable playing at the casino is by implementing the technology that OP means, then most will support it.
Then, what players want is only one thing apart from convenience, which means that withdrawals are not problematic or can be as fast as when making a deposit.

There actually have been games that have integrated VR or AR technology. I remember once trying a technology where you sit down in a chair that moves along with you as you watch through a lens that play a specific scenario. That is an example of VR. It is kind of like watching a movie in the cinema at 3d but it feels a lot more realistic while AR allows you to interact with your environment. It is very cool and thinking about how it can be integrated in gambling sector feels very exciting.

I think that in 2025 there will be some strong changes in the gambling sphere. Yes, more augmented reality may be introduced, but globally what does it change? People need a chance to win and excitement, and that's it. Yes, it will be visually cool to play roulette, which is literally in my hands, but this does not change any essence. In my case, I'm not excited about any of these options, as I place sports bets, so the only thing I'd like to see implemented at the casino I use is if they could buy the broadcast rights for Premier League games. La Liga and Serie A, they can already broadcast Bundesliga games, but it's getting harder and harder to watch Premier League, Serie A and La Liga games on the internet and watching them on TV channels is tiring.
