Which coins would you add or recommend me?

Its easy to recommend Bitcoin and Ethereum but in the first place, why are both of these two top coins in the market not in your portfolio, especially now that we are in a bull run and Trump is openly supporting Bitcoin?
I cannot say what you have is a good portfolio unless you have the proven coins or tokens there but not seeing Bitcoin and Ethereum or even Solana, you should consider these top and proven coins so you can say that you have a good portfolio.

Bitcoin is not everything , you can still have a good portfolio without it.

Why add Bitcoin now? It maybe 2x this year from current price and will then spend the next 2 years after that going down in bear market.

Altcoins in the current top 100 or so give you a good chance of making very good money this year, Bitcoin doesn’t.

Yes, bitcoin is not the only investment on the market, nor is it the only coin worth investing in. But it is the safest coin in the market so we should have bitcoin in our portfolio, although it may not give us big returns like altcoins but it will ensure the safety of our portfolio. But it all depends on each person's taste and risk tolerance and remember that the higher the return, the higher the risk.
If you are willing to take risks and would rather gamble than invest, then there is nothing wrong with not adding bitcoin to your portfolio. But this is very risky so don't give altcoin investment advice indiscriminately to others.

Left... the space..

Maybe the apparent confusion can be resolved by differentiating investment portfolio from savings?

To folk whose savings are in fiat, as often happens with people whose earnings/income is fiat, bitcoin is in their minds part of their investment portfolio;

whereas to at least some folk whose earnings/income is bitcoin, bitcoin is simply their savings as in what they haven't yet spent of their earnings/income at any given moment, except maybe such bitcoin as is out on some exchange or other as buy-side for various alts invested in to act as support for those alts and to earn from the rises and dips in the BTC/ALT pairs...

In other words maybe bitcoin is simply money; fiat is foreign currency to convert some into when visiting that foreign country and a very poor investment; and alts are gambling chips or investments...

only invest in popular coins that you understand, don't be influenced by what people tell you, do research and understand the coins you invest in, because altcoins have risks and only you can understand how your risk tolerance is on the types of coins. and also as a suggestion, I feel that only focus on a few coins, no need for too many, focus your money on coins that you feel have potential, while for new coins it is better to avoid them or you can invest but with less money.

Maybe if we are going to accumulate our portfolios in crypto assets, it would be a good idea to base our investments on the top 10 layer1&2, top 10 meme coins, top 10 AI agent coins, and yes 10 under Depin coins category and Top 10 cryptocurrencies if we don't want to waste our crypto capital.

This is just in line with my opinion as a sound investment method as investors in this field of the crypto space that we are in.

I bought the altcoin dip in recent weeks and my portfolio now consists of the following coins:

- Polygon
- Fantom
- Litecoin
- MultiverseX
- Supra

Which coins would you add or recommend me?
I can't recommend you to buy any coin, I can only suggest you to see the potential of various crypto assets by looking at the upcoming narrative, one of it is a coin or token related to the AI narrative, I think this narrative will be something this year, just like last year. For reference, you can see on Dune about tokens or coins with an AI narrative: - Dune - Ai

However, you need to consider holding Bitcoin and if possible around 60% of your assets should be in Bitcoin, because I think it is better to invest more in Bitcoin than altcoins, fundamentally Bitcoin is safer.

Yeah, it isn't everything. We even survive and some do well before it even invented. We did by just having a gold investment, real estate, and others, but now that we have a Bitcoin, I think it is only an added opportunity to us, so why not just grab it? Bitcoin is almost $100k again and many are speculating that it may only reached $150k this year which may not really be 2x of its price. Guess that is because Bitcoin's value is already heavy now and this is why some just choose a cheaper option. Top 100 altcoins are still a lot, I mean some positions may not be permanent and can subject to change without a prior notice. Maybe consider lower than it? To cut some risk.

It all depends how much money you start with when investing.

If you are someone with a lot of money who can invest an a few thousand each month then yes Bitcoin is worth it.

But if you are someone average with not much money then you need to take more risk.

What is the point of investing in Bitcoin with little money just to see a 1.5x or 2x return this year, it is not going to make a significant change to your life.

Those of us with little or average money should want to be making 5x, 10x or even 20x or more this year and you will only do that taking a risk in altcoins.

Yes some may turn out to be bad investments but you only need one altcoin to give you a really good return to make it worth it.

A good point JamesDaniel90.

I think some folks consider their overall portfolio as having various sections, like safe, volatile and speculative or whatever, so that maybe without delving into the picking of specific instances one could on seeing a portfolio leaning hard toward stability suggest adding a percentage allocation for other types/categories.

Like, how much of one's portfolio would be enough to allocate to your kind of category for someone who has ten times as much income to pour into ongoing investing? Maybe still just one times as much as your entire scale could suffice, if they feel that a lifestyle such as yours is a sufficient baseline or a plentiful gain on top of their current lifestyle or something like that? Maybe for such folk only ten percent of their portfolio allocated toward your type of picks would be fine?

As you scale down the starting capital or starting ongoing investment budget there likely comes a point where it starts to look more like work than like investing in that finding what to do with your pennies becomes more of an impact / chore / investment of time than gains of mere pennies seem to justify.

There is an old saying though "look after the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves".

Once upon a time the old penny-stocks players learned things that led to them transitioning into the "actual" stock-market to buy up entire companies to break them down into holding corps (of the real estate for example) versus earnings corps, selling off the real holdings of the earners and having them rent from the holding corps going forward, for example.

So maybe allocating a portion or section for things in which your small contribution could make a real difference could prove a fruitful idea for anyone who views learning as desirable rather than as an unfortunate chore and effort coming between themselves and the earnings they are hoping to achieve...

If nothing else one might learn how much difference being able to actually make a difference might make, so to speak... Ready for when one is some kind of "whale". Smiley

Well I have not heard of those coins you have Fantom, Polygon, MultiverseX, Supra. And I did look at them and they do have a small marketcap instead of the other coins in the top marketcap.

And they are not even in the top of the 100 coins for marketcap. I do like that you are hodling Litecoin but I do think you can use some other tokes in there. Ethereum, XRP and meme coin Doge you can add to it.

Usually peoples love to go with their own research because it's much better and beneficial for them, but many are now having mentors or analyst which are giving their views on social media and having good reputation due to their hard work, but we need to be careful.

Even though I am also not agreed with OP coins/tokens because these are not well enough famous in crypto market, but maybe he has done his work before investment I don't like them as well with my best option is always bitcoin with few other coins which are having good future and use case in the future.

Another group which love to stay with marketcap and love to take their small profit from top coins with usually this profit is not big but still enough for them to keep things on good level.

I agree with what my friends here are saying, why don't you put Bitcoin in your portfolio?
Of course, it has a higher level of security. If i were you and had a relatively large amount of money, i would split 60% to Bitcoin but back to you, if you only have a relatively small capital you have to take a bigger risk, this i agree with @JamesDaniel90.

And one more thing, have you researched the token you decided to enter into your portfolio?
Because i see Supra there, as far as i know Supra unlock tokens every month for the airdrop community for approximately 30 months, of course this causes investor fear to buy the token, which has an impact on the difficulty of the price to rise.

I bought the altcoin dip in recent weeks and my portfolio now consists of the following coins:

- Polygon
- Fantom
- Litecoin
- MultiverseX
- Supra

Which coins would you add or recommend me?

I for one would go full on BTC mostly, and only a fraction of the funds would go to the new projects.
Because they are either: a) risky; b) have unlocks like that  Wink
The most stable option is under everybody's nose.

There are quite a lot of choices and they have to be sorted so that only two remain, because currently if I look at the average price, altcoins are already in an upward position following the bitcoin trend so they have to move quickly if it looks profitable to avoid the risk of the price falling past the buying point, I prefer altcoins that move following the direction of bitcoin

Nothing to add from my point, I think that’s enough because I will not advise anyone to go all in at once forgetting other investment choice. The only coin I’m familiar with in terms of research is litecoin and the rest seems unknown, how sure will this coin be beneficial during the bullish season if no you should go for a trusted coin with good potential and we’ve seen several altcoins do well just make your research and go for the best.

like other people mentioned, it lacks BTC, i mean when BTC is doing 4x from the bottom while LTC almost doing nothing I think it makes more sense to hold some BTC.
but at the end of the day if you have conviction that this coin can go up then feel free to hold it, after all, the financial decision is yours to make, I agree with people who said not to trust stranger on judging your portfolio because people can be pretty biased.

Then choose SOL and LTC and be a happy hodler of them.
Some choose one, two, or ten - it's an individual preference of how many coins to hold.
And we didn't see the biggest rise of alts yet..

You need to always make your decision yourself and don't seek for some kind opinion that could increase your chances of making profits in the market. Some of these coins you have listed are good to hold based on your opinion but I think some of them have lost hype and many investors are not seeking to buy them just like the buying momentum was before. Maybe anyone that wants to buy should do that on a long term interest not something of short intervals.

Altcoins investment is something you need to be scrupulous about for us to make money from it while selecting the good ones from the ones that could be unprofitable in a long run. Every investor need to know what they are getting some skills about crypto investment and trading even though it's just a shallow knowledge.
