Well that's the thing.  IMHO the NFL quarterback is by far the most difficult position to field of all sports.  That's why it so hard to find good ones and why you find 40 year old's who've been little more than a starter for a year or two and end up spending the rest of their careers as back up (making damn good money at that too).  So Mahomes IS enough to make the difference.  It's a team game but I think you need to realize the QB is a lot more than just "1 piece of the puzzle".

Probably true however you need someone to catch the ball, protect you, etc...
It's a team sport, so as in all team sports, the more good players you have beside you the better. Thankfully for Mahomes that isn't alone.

Well shit yeah you can't do it alone, but QB is what the NFL is all about theses days.  Once upon a time Running Backs were sort of the jewel of the league.  Take a look at the salary Saquon got this past season.  I mean it's nothing to sneeze about , but compared to back in the day, he woulda signed some 100M contract of some sort.

To play Devil's Advocate, here's a couple reasons why the Eagles may be crowned this year's Super Bowl champs:

 - they tend to cover the spread significantly more often than the Chiefs (13-7 vs. 9-10)... this suggests they are good at finding ways to either squeak out a victory or ensure they really trounce an opponent.

 - they are leading the Chiefs in almost every important performance metric:

OK, sure. I've never done it before. The explainer you provided makes it make sense. Did you do it through a site that automates it, or did you do it all manually? Would be interested in learning more about how you did it in the past.

Last year I think @Hueristic played as well as @yahoo (I know Hueristic did, not 100% sure if Yahoo did). There's 4 chances to win, so after each quarter end.  It's a lot of fun and doesn't have to be something you have to unload your wallet for, so some cheaper fun, so to speak.

Though Philly has two of my all time fav players in AJ Brown and Saquon Barkley, who you might have heard had a decent year    So there's some fun aspects to it still.

Also gambling is what helps make even the most boring shit fun...so with squares I believe Hampz or Wheelz might set that all up ( I volunteered them both too lol, hoping one takes the reigns..Hampz and I will be chatting later today or tom about it but it'll be done digitally, we'll use random generators for sports, do something like $5 in btc per square..something to that extent.  Def have to get a square or two.

Im the same its going to be tough for me to cheer on anyone.  As a bitter giamts fan i cant imagine philly winning a chip with saquons first year and i live around tons of philly fans.  Cant deal with that outcome.  Then there is seeing the chiefs win it yet again.  Its like this decades version of the patriots, nobody wants to see them win again except their own fans.  Maybe they find a way out to tie with both taking second place?

A large bet for me is like $50 max because I'm allergic to losing money.  I don't recall placing any bets on last years game, and I hardly ever bet when the 9ers are playing due to being too emotionally attached to the outcome.  Key takeaway; emotionally attached to the outcome.

Chiefs are getting old i want to see new teams win.  It gets boring watching the same team over and over in the superbowl IMO but thats just me.  No way is the superbowl cheated.  Maybe individual games but with this much money on it and everyone watching i think if it was cheated people would be onto it.  Nobody is throwing the superbowl if you are in the nfl.  You play your whole life for this shot.

Ahhh, I gotcha, yeah I am the same way.  The SB is the largest bet I tend to make.  I put $100 down on the spread, maybe a few props and then sometimes SB squares.  I started to dig in to setting up a squares system last night, I wasn't going well (I had been out partying so that didnt' help) I found a website that's supposed to do it all, but it was NOT easy to figure out, at least not on mobile. I just woke up an hour ago lol (it was a very good friends bday party that stated at 11 am lol).  So I give up but I think @hhampuz might be setting it up still.  I know we are running out of time..I'lll keep ya posted asap.  Sorry, I lost track of time during the week, etc.

If a team's fans don't watch it because they feel bitter or that their team is been treated unfairly, well, won't stop all the others from watching it. I understand the frustration and the boycott of it but it's an event. Everybody wants to see their favorite team in a final but only two can be there.

Chiefs are getting old i want to see new teams win.  It gets boring watching the same team over and over in the superbowl IMO but thats just me.

I'm also a fan of seeing new teams and faces in a Superbowl but we are here now. Eagles vs Chiefs. And yes, perhaps it's boring seeing the same team over and over again in the final but at least this year we can witness a major achievement that no other team managed to do. I want to say that I saw that match so, KC for the trophy and history!

With less than 45 minutes to go before kickoff, the line changed to for -1.5 to -1 KC. Must have been a sudden push for KC in the last 24 hours or so... Word on the streets is Jaylen Hurts isn't 100%. That combined with refgate, Taylor Swift and the fact that Reid & Mahomes have more experience in this situation than any other coach/QB duo leads me to believe the Chiefs are about to pull off the first 3-peat in NFL history. So my official pick is Chiefs. Let's see how she goes. Should be a good game regardless.

Blahhhhh. Man I kind of just thought like I should never bet against Brady. Well, I should never bet against Patrick Mahomes. I am certainly regretting that decision as of this moment. I really hope that they come out of the gate after half and score a couple quick touchdowns at minimum just to have a decent game ..this is starting to turn into not a lot of fun.

How does Travis Kelce and Deandre Hopkins, two Hall of Famers, sit at 2 targets and no catches at half. I mean they aren’t who they were few years ago, but they can still play, and again, bonafide HOF players and those type tend to always be able to make at least slight diff. I don’t get it.

KC def been shutting down the run game like no other. You’ve got the best RB in the game, and then top 3-4 receiver in AJ Brown ..hard to stop both..brown been making some filthy catches !
