One reason why I said Bitcoin is overdue for a dump is cause yearly market open just started and last year candle left so many unfilled fvg for me personally I would still like to see more dump if bitcoin price for this month probably this month cancle close we would get a proper PA of how next month is going to be, if we lose $90k then $85k should be printed on the chart
The challenging part for this crypto market is that you won't be able recognize in advance when will btc price pump or dump, even if you are fully aware on the historical patterns about the price pump and dump. So I cannot say that this dump or pump is currently overdue, since the market remains uncertain and unpredictable all throughout the past years.

First of all, please learn to properly use punctuations where needed, in order not to confuse your readers.

Now, to my comment, I do not wish for a dump to happen, most especially when Altcoins are yet to experience any major pump all through last year since the price of bitcoin started going up and breaking several all time highs, Altcoins have continued to crawl since then, and if right now, bitcoin should start dumping, it will be catastrophic for Altcoins and it's holders.

I rather wish that the price of bitcoin become stable than it going through any significant dump, and thank goodness that the price of bitcoin is even rising at the moment.

Overdue for a dump again Isn't the dump that's happening already enough because I'm tired of seeing my portfolio go down in value. We're meant to be in the bull market and getting many profits but the market is looking very scary with many project falling all because Bitcoin isn't doing well. Bitcoin will recover hence I don't have a problem with the market falling but it's affecting the whole market and causing alot of panicking among investors.

The market falling more now won't help matters hence I don't want the market to continue to fall but a recovery will be nicer. The movement of Bitcoin price has become so unpredictable lately hence I can't say for sure if the price is going to fall more or it'll  have a recovery but I'm hoping it does recover fast.

As I have understood, the crypto market won't suddenly resort into dumping its price without seeing first some signals that would lead to a bearish market. Like for example, negative market sentiments and news, since all we have right now are focused on the upcoming positive events, so it's hard to anticipate a bearish season when the negative factors aren't visible yet. But no worries, the market will eventually get there, we just can't tell a specific date or month when it will be happening.

that something some of us does not understand in cryptocurrency most especially in Bitcoin investment when you are investing in Bitcoin you should invest in Bitcoin when the price is low and they expect to make a profit when the price is high So that is why anything People who invest when the price is high you complain about bitcoin price when the price you started depreciating in value so once you are ready to invest in this coin target the time the price is low so that you can make a good profit during their time their price increases so I believe that's you may experience such loss based on you invested when bitcoin price hit 100k and now the price has reduced in value

Looks like OP made a wrong prediction, did it really dump? Hehe.

Bitcoin is now trading at $105k, so clearly, it didn’t. The movement isn’t over yet, there’s another new ATH on the way. Thanks to the positive news once again tied to Trump. It seems like Trump is the life saver this time. But once things normalize, we’ll surely see even more good news in the future that could drive more hype.

Everyone knows that the market will eventually dump one day and like you said it will be all tied to the negative news that would affect the market and the thing like you said no one can actually know when this happens although even if the market dumbs today it will be still be of great benefits to those Bitcoin investor that are not will to sell right now at the amount because atleast they can have more opportunities to expand their portfolio for a lot more long term holding of their Bitcoin.

I'm waiting for a dump. I don't like the news that Bitcoin is growing and growing. I mean that there is no opportunity to buy more Bitcoin. And the thing is that everyone forgot that a year ago it cost 40 thousand, and we all just dreamed of 100k. And even 70k was a great goal. And now it can grow or stay in its zone, but these are all very bad moments for buying Bitcoin. Yes, in a couple of days the market will be positive because Trump will take office, but I don't like the fact that Bitcoin has not experienced any strong correction during the last growth.

Yes, I am waiting that too because the dump could be too deep so that can be a big discount to us. But when the price still increase afterr Trump inauguration, that will be okay as I will sell some and enjoy the profit Grin

We are now see Bitcoin price is at $103k which mean the price is increased a lot from this few days. If you want to buy back more Bitcoin, you need to be patience for a while. At least, our target price to buy is under $100k which we don't know when that will happen.

We can take the opportunity for some corrections, but wishing for the dump like we've been in during the bear season, we'd rather not think about it. Not this time because the price of bitcoin is expected to continue to rise. Don't get me wrong, OP, but I just want to ask what you did during the bear season. Because people are buying bitcoin and waiting for this time to arrive and even hoping for more. But sad to say, some people are also hoping it dumps.

We just remind ourselves that there is a time for buying and a time for selling.

I'm not saying that's the bottom, I'm just speculating and that my TA it telling me most people might say price will go to 69 and bring a random TA show us why price will get there, they might be right and also might be wrong that's why they always say "DYOR"
Could you post some links about those TA and their price predictions? Because I really wonder who can tell Bitcoin will go down to 69K currently. It all depends to what Donald Trump will say on Monday in this inauguration speech about cryptocurrencies and the political measures he is going to take afterwards. Currently you can ditch all the TAs you can find, they are no longer relevant. It's all about Trump's decisions.

Don't pay too much attention to him. The OP is a typical guy who has a lot of ideas about bitcoin but must not hold much bitcoin himself. Moreover, if he is apparently dedicated to trading it even less. It happens in general in money matters, you see people opening threads pontificating about money matters and they don't even reach $10 net worth.

Many don't have access to much capital when it come to trading, but the will the person has to be consistent consistent and also improve on his trading skill that's what make most of us stand out true I don't have up to $10 net worth but as far as i keep trying one every thing will fall into place so please don't be offended if I just made a speculation, I can change my bias to the price movement and what I want to trade no one started trading and just had straight wins all his life

With what I have experience with Trump token in the last 24 hours, I'm too convince to say that any coin can go as high as any possible price the market makers will want it to go. I know that we are used to market dumping in the crypto space but you see what I just witnessed with Trump coin, $100k is too small for Bitcoin. If they have Bitcoin in mind to go to as high as $1m, then it going to be done in matter of days if they have it in mind unless they don't.

The only thing I can be skeptical about Bitcoin dump is what is going to happen to what Donald Trump promised to do with Bitcoin. The guy just launched a meme coin instead making the world understand his move and plans about Bitcoin and that is worry some because nobody really knows what will come of Bitcoin reserve he has promised. I he becomes the president tomorrow, all this friendly talk about Bitcoin isn't going to be there anymore.

I understand your point, but how long will you wait for bitcoin to dump considering the fact that it's quite difficult to perfectly time the the market? I would rather not see bitcoin dump right now. Instead of waiting for bitcoin to dump, I think DCA will be a perfect opportunity for you. It would demand consistency from you and ofcourse you know, consistency pays off. Adopting the DCA method of investing will help you manage risks effectively whether the price dumps or pumps. You can still buy lump sum when the price finally dumps if you so desire it.

Yep that's absolutely right
The best way to grab Bitcoin is DCA. We should not wait any longer for Bitcoin because the current situation clearly indicates that the pullback of Bitcoin is almost non-existent. The current price of Bitcoin cannot reach 80k. Bitcoin is still showing further surge due to its supreme bullishness from technical perspective.

So you are right that DCA should be done instead of waiting more to buy Bitcoin. Those fguys who are hoping that Bitcoin will dip again to 75k or 60k and provide a buying opportunity, so they need to understand that this is not the case. Bitcoin is showing more surgeness, maybe we have seen Bitcoin price recognition up to 150k to 170k within this year. So we don't need to wait more just do DCA and grab Bitcoin.

Long time traders cant guarantee their wins as well. Goes to show that anyone in trading is prone to losses as no one knows what can comes next in the market.
So if you have small capital, try to learn the trade, meaning learn the ins and outs of this market. Don't rush by using big capital all at once. Because sooner or later, you will learn some tricks that you can employ in your trading journey. Do remember, each project is unique and so the techniques you need to apply are different from each one you encounter.

I like how your poll gives the option to vote for a dump now or soon Grin like the future has been established already. When has the possibility of a recession ever been a clear thing? Sure we can know a probability, but we cannot make predictions with absolute certainty.

Sure, it might dump or it might pump again. I would rather hodl BTC so I do not miss out on a pump rather than hedging in USD out of fear of a dump anytime soon. In my experience, trying to save your investment by panic selling and waiting on a better price will always go wrong.

I count my money in Bitcoin.

And why on earth will you even keep waiting till the price of bitcoin drops when you can buy when ever you feel like because that is like the best thing to do, when the price might be down you might not have the funds to be able to buy so it is better to adopt the strategy of buying when ever you have money to buy that is like the only way you can help your self that's the way foward.

DCA is one of the best strategies that can be used to manage how you buy so it will not a bad idea and a lot of people are always finding it very difficult to know exactly how to buy they are always complaining that they don't know when to buy and you made a very good point so it won't be a bad idea and when you start buying it won't be a bad idea when it comes buying anytime is okay.

And when the price is down everyone will want to buy but there people that will not buy even if the price is down all they will do is to complain about one thing or the other.

Of course. Bitcoin is overdue for a dump. The recent "pump" towards $100k is due to hype. Especially after Trump won the 2024 elections. We should expect things to settle within 1-2 years from now. I, for one, am waiting for Bitcoin to go back to $30k to buy some more. I'm sure many bitcoiners here on the forums are also waiting for the same thing.

With every bull market, comes a bear market. It's like a rollercoaster ride. Take a look at past market performance to see what I mean. Long-term speaking, Bitcoin should be more valuable than what it is right now. Probably within the $1m range. The best thing to do is DCA for building generational wealth. Just forget about the price to avoid panic selling once the market experiences a "bloodbath". Wink
