I was using centralized exchange like bybit, bitget, etc to buy Bitcoin and transfer to my electrum wallet but the charges are much therefore I want to buy from somewhere that will be directly to my electrun wallet through the second party so that there will be no extra fees to pay again like the centralized exchanges. Buying from centralized exchange is giving double charges, e.g, If I am buying $100 Btc I would be credited with only $97 as BTC and I will still send it to my electrum wallet again which cost another charge again by reducing my units or quantity of Bitcoin. Therefore I will like to buy from a place that I will not pay for the third party charge. Though someone told me that I can buy from a person I know if there is any as p2p, but none at the moment. So if you know any where I can get it directly to my self custodian wallet which is the electrum wallet please tell me.

Use OKX or MEXC. They have the lowest withdrawal fee among those exchanges. Binance and Bybit transaction bitcoin withdrawal fee are too high for bitcoin. The last time I check MEXC, the withdrawal fee for bitcoin was £0.8. It was last week that I check the withdrawal fee on MEXC and I even withdraw bitcoin at the time.

$100 transaction with $3 fee is still cheap for Bitcoin withdrawal compared Look for someone who offers higher rates. You can maybe get $90 in Bitcoin for $100 Well, if you are going to a decentralized exchange like Bisq or any alternative, the rates are different even if you didn't pay for the fee; it would cost more than you buy from a centralized exchange like you mentioned above. Buying on bitget shouldn't be so expensive if your problem is the withdrawal fees. I think it change over time. You can maybe try someone in Currency exchange just make sure that before you deal with someone there, always use an escrow for protection. This will also cost some fees because you are going to use an escrow service. So I think stay with what you are doing because I think it is still cheaper than looking for someone to do P2P.

Yeah they both have one of the best withdrawal fee for CEX but the issue would it isnt restricted in OPs country. It's in my though.

OKX is not accessible to Nigerians but you can use MEXC. You do not even need to fill KYC before you will be able to withdraw on MEXC.

In addition to what others have said above, you can try Decentralize exchanges like BISQ and Peach Bitcoin, I haven't used any of these but I believe their fee would likely be cheaper than that of Centralize exchanges. Here is a Peach Bitcoin thread you can make enquiry about anything/issues: PeachBitcoin.com | P2P Bitcoin Exchange 🍑 #kycfree. Although while I did try to use Peach Bitcoin one time there wasn't available order at that time with regards to my country. BISQ has good trust for lonalso. I did recommend you also try to weigh if this DEX are feasible for you than the CEX because while now the bitcoin transaction is still quite low in the point of congestion CEX tx fee will often surge remarkably.

The first one is the fee that most exchanges charges for trading and some of these exchanges charges lots of fees sometimes, although I have personally notice that fees when buying at limit orders are sometimes cheaper than buying at market order although it is not much of a difference sometimes. As for the other charges it is the network fee charge to transfer your bitcoin although most of this exchanges have like fixed charges which most at times is definitely too high. The only way to reduce this is to look out at many of these exchanges and pick the one with less fees. The exchanges with lesser fees would have been decentralized exchanges but most of them lack the liquidity most at times. P2P also is a good choice but be careful. Easy to avoid most of this is to earn in bitcoin and hodl. So when you render service you can propose the idea of accepting in bitcoin

Op you can buy direct to your wallet from different ways. From decentralized exchanges which can also be found in this link. Decentralized Crypto Exchanges for 2025 and I also prefer buying bitcoin direct to my wallet because also stress me by making two transactions. The one from the seller and I will still send it back to my wallet again but if the seller send it directly to my wallet it is better like that. And I believed that what you want. Many people have told you what to do and you can follow what they have said and select the one you like to follow.

It's not possible to buy a coin on a centralized exchange, transfer to your Electrum, without spending any reasonable amount on fees, because considering the fact that it's Bitcoin you are transferring to your Electrum wallet, I don't think $3 is much as a fee to pay to transfer your coin to a more secure wallet. Because Electrum is unlike Trust Wallet where you can buy coins directly from third party websites like Mercuryo, Transak and AlchemyPay.

That rate is pretty normal to an exchange, or to any kind of exchange rates. If you want then for having good rates and send directly to your wallet address, P2P is good choice, what i mean is user to user transaction, no need for any third-party sites but it will be difficult to find a reputable user for that. Well, we have Currency exchange board for that purpose.

That $3 fee is pretty normal, right? For me it's better to buy on the exchange and then withdraw to a non-custodial wallet with a small fee that is fair.
This is what I do to collect bitcoins buying on exchanges after a few hundred dollars withdrawing to a wallet to reduce the more expensive fees.
You can do P2P but there are usually fees that sellers don't want to bear.

Investment in Bitcoin can be done with Dollar Cost Averaging strategy (DCA), and you can do DCA several times, and withdraw it one time. Like after 4 or 5 times of DCA with $100 for each DCA, you can withdraw your bitcoin and withdrawal fee will be the same. By having bigger withdrawal value, with same withdrawal fee, you will pay less percent of your capital value for withdrawal fee. It means you can save your withdrawal fee like 4 times less by DCA 5 times and withdrawal only one time. DCA https://dcabtc.com/Quick check on withdrawal fee. https://withdrawalfees.com/coins/bitcoin

Sending to a Non custodial always requires a Fee And I don't think the $3doll is much different if you sum other avenues together. Some times it can be a fact even then it is 3 dollars, suppose you start up a DCA scheme with only 10 dollar per week then if you see for the long run it is really can be a fact if you just sum up the 3 dollars withdrawal fees. Here it is true all of them have also provided escrow services in a charge. But there were also free escrow services in this forum, as far as I know it has been provided by irfan_pak10 and Albon it can be also help him.

DCA https://dcabtc.com/Quick check on withdrawal fee. https://withdrawalfees.com/coins/bitcoinThis is way out of point. I am asking where to buy Bitcoin directly into my wallet and not DCA that you are talking about because even when you use DCA too you will still need to send to your wallet.

Though someone told me that I can buy from a person I know if there is any as p2p, but none at the moment. So if you know any where I can get it directly to my self custodian wallet which is the electrum wallet please tell me.
Regarding p2p I would advocate bisq2. It requires to have some reputation score to trade there but to purchase small amount around for $50 -$100 you may find a traders who could sell BTC even if your score is zero. Try first the small trade around $25 to get acquainted with functionality of this platform. There is also bisq which is independent on bisq2 but the trading there is commonly for the bigger sums and, besides, it can not be done without collateral.

If your problem is the withdrawal fees, you can opt for monthly withdrawal and not weekly withdrawals, this way you will saving money on the withdrawal fees. I had similar challenge too when I started using the DCA method to purchase my Bitcoin and the only way I could reduce those fees was to be withdrawing monthly instead of weekly even though I was buying weekly. To buy Bitcoin, you cannot completely escape the fees, all you can do is to find a way to minimize the it. Please don't take because of the fees and resort to altcoins that have lower withdrawal fees.

Transactions with banks using cross-boarder payment services charges more than you think we are being charged in bitcoin network. I would have love to introduce some escrow service providers for you, whereby you can buy directly from someone while they serves as escrow, but they will also demand from you some charges, except for the free ones, it is also important to know the service charge of some of these exchanges, as their fees may differs from each other, try and compare them and go for the least, thirdly, if you know anyone that can make a physical p2p with you and offer btc while you transfer your fiat to such, but this has to be from someone you trust or know.
