Given the current market conditions, caution must be exercised when sharing opinions with friends to generate interest in investing. If a friend were to be suggested to invest in Bitcoin right now and he invested, then at some point if the market went into a bear market like today, my friend would be mentally angry with me. Only suggestions can be given to friends who know about the risks of investing in Bitcoin, and they must be told that every investment must be made at their own risk. You shouldn't introduce Bitcoin to friends who will blame you for any losses. Instead of encouraging them to invest in Bitcoin, it would be better to discourage them.
This is why you should first discuss the risks of Bitcoin. You have to say that if you invest in Bitcoin, you may experience loss instead of profit in the short term, Bitcoin has good prospects in the future. You have to give the idea to your friends that if you want to invest in Bitcoin, you must plan for the long term, you can't be disappointed when the market goes down. However, it is good to give ideas to those who do not know about Bitcoin, but should not advise anyone to invest. If you give your friend or someone idea about Bitcoin, if they are interested in investing themselves knowing about the risk, then help them to invest.

I spoke with several friends about Bitcoin, and they said it seemed like rocket science to them. Since it's not a physical product like traditional money, they find it hard to trust. They are older and not accustomed to modern technology. Even when I explained that the future will revolve around cryptocurrency and that money doesn't have to be a physical product, they remained unimpressed. Nowadays, we are used to using credit cards and online transactions where money is not visibly exchanged. However, they still feel uncomfortable with that concept. While they do invest in stocks and company shares, they are not interested in investing in Bitcoin.

They just need to dig deeper.
And they will do so eventually if the interest would spark in even one of your friends.

That's how it is suppose to be, I don't it is right to just see anyone and start talking about bitcoin with the person , even if the person is someone you know very well. Before making any conversation about bitcoin with anybody you need to be sure if the person has same interest of bitcoin just like you and  it will make the conversation to go very smoothly without any rejection. Having discussion with the wrong people who don't care about bitcoin and understand it, you may even be seen as a suspect of scam maybe based on the wrong investment they may have encountered even before now.

Yeah. Both should be the part of the discussion and seek it in order to even start it or debate on something, I agree with that.

If you give your friend or someone idea about Bitcoin, if they are interested in investing themselves knowing about the risk, then help them to invest.
Once they are able to take the risk of BTC, I guess it will be easy for them to accept whatever you are going to tell them about BTC and it will motivate them to introduce BTC to other people too because they have seen good result from the BTC they have bought, which is an evidence to show other people to believe them. Don't hide any important things from those you are planning to introduce to BTC, it is better you feed their minds about loss and gain in BTC investment for them to know if they will be able to accommodate those keys points.

Don't help them to invest in BTC in case anything bad come up, but you can teach them how to buy from the market and when to sell in the market to earn profit because many people have be accused of stolen BTC because they helped the newbies to invest in BTC.

You may encounter someone who has never been involved in anything cryptocurrency your discussion may lead to the types of investment that is good in the current economic situation it is not bad if you bring up the topic about Bitcoin to the person if he or she picks interest to know more it is not bad if you start by telling him the basic things he needs to know and his interest will tell if he's ready to learn or not. Just like you mentioned, the interest of the person will determine if you should go on with the conversation or not and if you notice the person's interest in knowing more you can go ahead by telling him the things about Bitcoin and the risk involved. If you noticed that such person has been scammed in the past, it is an opportunity to also know that they went through and how you can help them to prevent such things from happening again. Do not ask anyone to invest in Bitcoin if they are not interested, they should be the one asking you for more information and not you pushing them to learn when they are not interested.

I spread information about bitcoin for those who are serious about bitcoin only, but for family or close friends of course I take the initiative to spread information about bitcoin. because I want them to also be able to feel the benefits when investing in bitcoin for their future. But still do not forget to inform the risks that will occur, after that the choice is still in their own hands because I do not want to force their choice.

But there is also a story about this. I have a friend but not that close, just often have coffee together at a coffee shop, he always asks about bitcoin and I explain and suggest watching some educational YouTube about bitcoin, this he asked when the price of Bitcoin was $ 45k. But when the price of bitcoin was $ 70k he asked again then I explained again, then when the price of bitcoin reached $ 85k he asked again until the last one when the price of bitcoin was $ 106k he came with regret for not investing earlier.

From this story it can be seen how Bitcoin continues to increase in value while he is still hesitant and delays buying bitcoin. The moral of this story is, Bitcoin does not wait for those who are hesitant and lazy to learn.

It is understandable that they are having a hard time absorbing the definitions and explanations that you have given them. Not all will easily take them and it's a lot for them to take and understand what they are not used to. But maybe if you have used some simpler words, they might understand. The whole point is not to be pushy around them because not everyone will like Bitcoin even if they are the closest people you have in your life. The frustration is there when you're expecting them to be optimistic about it but then the opposite is shown in return of your time telling them how optimistic you are.

Bitcoin has already spread intercontinental, because of people's testimony about the advantages of bitcoin investment, I may say that bitcoin awareness has taken almost all the countries, so therefore we don't need to campaign about bitcoin any long because it has gotten to the grassroots, so I believe that bitcoin is been known to so many people right now..and theirs no need to campaign of bitcoin but to invest on Bitcoin.

But still do not forget to inform the risks that will occur, after that the choice is still in their own hands because I do not want to force their choice.
I also did the same way. I never spread the information or share my knowledge on Bitcoin to the people who are likely not interested in Bitcoin. Even for the family members, I won't explain it to them if they aren't interested in. I think it only wastes time to share information to the people who have no intention to understand it because they will always have the reasons to refuse it. Unless they ask me, I won't share anything to them. Well, for most family members and close friends, they know well that I'm involved in crypto business. So, there is no need to force them to know it!!  Grin

Sure, when we share the information, we must explain in a detail and completely. They must know the advantages and disadvantages. It includes the potential of profits and the chance of losses. So, they also know the risks and understand how to deal with the risks. This is an important part to explain, so they don't blame us in the future!!

I mean why would you invest time and give learnings to people who doesn’t give interest to bitcoin. Imagine the knowledge you acquired and you’ve spent countless of hours to understand how everything works. It’s obviously not ideal to give or teach someone who is not really into bitcoin. It’s better for them to discover by themselves, so they can learn it with effort.

Maybe it was easier today to convince people about Bitcoin because there was already some proof to show, but at the time before, I often rejected it.

However, I didn't tell anybody anymore just to keep away from evil people. The more we talk to people, that might compromise our safety. Keeping it secret helps us keep it anonymous as well. In fact, they will know and hear about crypto on social media platforms, and it is their will if they dig it deeper or not.

They don't need to have same interest  about bitcoin like you do before you can engage in a bitcoin discussion with them. Otherwise how do we change the wrong perspectives our friends and family are having towards bitcoin. It should be a thing of joy that you have impacted live with this amazing and innovative project. I'm  not saying you should meet any random person on the street and start advertising bitcoin to them no, you also have to protect yourself by keeping some information private to yourself  like how much bitcoin you've  held so far or brag about your portfolio. But rather you could use other prominent enthusiasts as a case study to cite your example for the purpose of clarity.

Excellent. You said everything I think when questions arise about whether it is worth telling people about Bitcoin. There is a lot of information these days. An interested person can find everything he is interested in on the Internet. And yes, it is always better to learn about something if there is a witness, a person who is directly familiar with this or that thing and technology. You are right that people should be interested in themselves, and seek knowledge, this is how a person will form the right opinion. You should not impose anything on anyone. Everyone around is an adult or considers themselves as such. Let people come to you with a search and thirst for knowledge, at least you will not waste your time in vain.

As many people don't aware of bitcoin and other crypto, do you take initiative to explain about bitcoin to others? I am spreading information and knowledge about btc to others, advantages of btc. I have observed some people showing interest or heared about btc some where. Let's spread the btc world to others, cheers.
When sharing my passion for Bitcoin to others am a bit selective and cautious, I don't tell anyone I meet about it and I'm definitely not an going to preach about Bitcoin to others unless they approach me first because I've been ridiculed before. Not twice have I tried to tell my friends about Bitcoin but in the end they think am trying to scam them. I don't blame them though because there has been and still is a lot of misconception and stigma surrounding crypto currency so I only explain to them when they have questions about Bitcoin.

I would say that before informing a person about Bitcoin, one should have sufficient knowledge about Bitcoin. Otherwise, there is a possibility of more harm than benefit in that promotion. If someone wants to participate in Bitcoin promotion as a promoter, then I definitely encourage him, but if he himself gives wrong ideas for the promotion, it will be a bigger threat for him. Moreover, if someone gives ideas about his personal holdings while giving ideas about Bitcoin, it will be a bigger threat for him. It is better for that person not to go to Bitcoin promotion. Because he does not know about his own security. How can he help others use Bitcoin? There is no need for promotion for Bitcoin, but the message of Bitcoin should be conveyed to those who do not know about Bitcoin yet. It is definitely a good policy if knowledge is shared to those who are new, rather than encouraging them to invest in Bitcoin, after all it is a good decision to increase their ideas and awareness about Bitcoin.

Not really necessary yet even with the basics of Bitcoin information should suffice, the only issue on here is that whenever they do make out some in depth questions then you wont really be able to answer and its never been that good on telling them on information which is misleading. It would be better that you should be telling them on making up some indepth research that they can find in net.  The good thing if that you are knowledgeable is that you can be able to explain to them in one go and be mindful about telling them about on the risks involved on which dont give them some false hopes about making money is easy because if we do really just that tend to zoom out that Bitcoin/Crypto isnt really just that talking about money making opportunity but rather it is really that talking about its utility and other usage on which this is revolutionary.

For me im not really that someone who do convince out other people to get involved with Bitcoin or with crypto. I do really just that wait for them to ask out and on the moment that they would really be approaching then this is the time that i would really be that explaining to them on those information as much as i can and as clear as i can. We do know that we cant be perfect or really that professional when it comes to information and this is why if  you do have some lacking of some information then it will be better that you should really be that leading them into making up some internet search rather than on telling them on things on which you dont even know on what it is.

You're right. Let them to discover it by themselves. If we force them, they will always refuse it. Even if sometimes we want all our family members to follow us, it just wastes time to teach/learn them if they have no interest. I only try to show them that investing/trading in Bitcoin really bring big advantages. Those people are usually interested to follow when they can see the success of other people. We should prove the success in Bitcoin investment/trading, so they are probably interested to try. However, I only expect much on our family members. For other people, I only want to share any information about Bitcoin/crypto when they are asking only.

I have observed some people showing interest or heared about btc some where. Let's spread the btc world to others, cheers.

And also, people that know but don't know exactly what they can do when it comes to Bitcoin, even when they want to buy, so there is a lot to learn. So when you are telling people about it, you will have to just to tell them the truth because when you look at it is something you will enjoy. There are more things to learn the moment there is interest picked because people don't want to take things seriously, and when you don't have seriousness in you, then everything will be wired.

And the way the world bitcoin have been spreading like wild fire so this more reason one anyone hearing about it should just try there best to get along with it no matter what it will cost because its a trend that what ever it brings to the table you will for sure partake in it, and a lot of people have personally taking upon there self to actually make awearness about bitcoin and makes a lot easy for people and even when you check your social media you will notcie that bitcoin is going far for a reason and there are a lot of sincere people that even ready to give free trading classes for those that are intrested in trading.
