Yes it's very important to be knowledgeable about bitcoin before taking it to the level of initiating it to others because there could be circumstances of ones interested to ask you some tense of critical questions and if you're unable to provide satisfactory or legit response towards it then you're likely to spread adoptions news of what you know nothing about or something that's not convinceable to be true.
So we don't just have to introduce our relatives to the bitcoin industry when we know we can't guide them through else your intention of exposing them to bitcoin as a source of income to optimize their financial portfolios would be turn against you if their holding portfolio turns otherwise frowning.
Most especially, never try to convince anyone to adopt the use of bitcoin by not trying to sugarcoat your communication with them about bitcoin such as "bitcoin being a lucrative quick rich source of income" is abolishing to spread amongst the public because it's not true. So don't try to do a self marketing skills with anyone any your spread of bitcoin awareness.

I have done this since 2014, and it's fun because in that moment my friends and family didn't believe at all in the coin, the price at that moment used to be $400, and now most of them regret while the price is at $100k

I keep spreading the word, that more people/users/investors we have in the network it will be better for Bitcoin, that's a fact. And that's the fun part of Bitcoin, it's good till the point where it didn't even need marketing for success.

I consider the role of a BTC-missionary a waste of time and I believe that it is not needed by those who might be interested in bitcoin, and those who definitely will not be interested. Those people who are interested in finance, one way or another, have heard about bitcoin and can easily find all the information about this type of asset in the public domain. And it is useless to talk to those who definitely will not be interested in bitcoin and try to persuade them to invest. I am inclined to believe that such "agitation and propaganda" of bitcoin only pushes people away. Therefore, you should not force conversations on this topic. Unless people themselves ask to share their opinion and information if they find out that you have such.

Those who need it, will "find the way" to BTC themselves.

I have given bitcoin awareness so students in Baptist School and also people around me way back 2022. Currently, I don't talk much about bitcoin to people for my safety. It's only if a close friend is interested to learn and invest, I teach him the basics and guide him on how to go about his bitcoin investment. You are doing a great job, teaching and spreading Bitcoin knowledge within and among your friends, that is a good move, but also comes with a lot of challenges and risks that many people are trying to avoid, such risk as, security risks, since in many places around the world, anyone that has Bitcoin regardless of the amount is a target because of Bitcoin privacy and none physical presence, many mistakes it holder's to be supper rich people whereas, a vast majority of Bitcoin enthusiasts only hold few hundred or thousands of Satoshi in the wallet in reality, this security risk have been one of the major setbacks for many people who have the knowledge on Bitcoin and could teach others.

It’s easier to introduce Bitcoin compared before since the price growth alone can speak for itself that Bitcoin is a good investment in the long run.

Actually, I already recruited some of my coworkers this new year because they are willing to venture on new investment opportunities for change with their traditional stocks investments since they are curious already on Bitcoin but scared to enter due to lack of knowledge.

Bitcointalk is a very good source of information especially for newbie there’s a lot pf thread already available which I use to guide them to easily understand Bitcoin.

Yes, telling a friend or inviting others to join Bitcoin is a good idea because Bitcoin has now turned into the best coin all over the world since the news about Bitcoin has spread all over the countries, even those that they want to hear about the Bitcoin before now turned to take Bitcoin as there best place coin of investments; so in this case, telling a friend about how the Bitcoin has benefits a lot of people is not a bad thing.

Because there's some countries that they never know much about the Bitcoin, which if they tell them about the BTC, they can also have interest in it, because the way people have been hearing about the Bitcoin, that's why once you tell anyone about Bitcoin, they can definitely rush to invest in.

There are few companies in my countries that the employees are looking for people to invest in the company they work, but the company is scam. Unfortunately this affect to other intangible assets including Bitcoin, people are scared to invest in something that they can't touch and feel with their hands.

Not really, only to very very close friends and family, i don't talk about BTC when i meet just any of my friends. I don't know if you are aware, but $5 wrench attacks are now becoming kind of popular, so you have to be careful about the places you openly claim to be a bitcoiner. I keep it to my very close circle and the best thing of all is that most of my close circle are either bitcoiners or into crypto.

Yeah that is the real truth about it because going about telling people about Bitcoin investment is totally wrong decisions. Because you don't know who is against you, and even though telling people to join Bitcoin investment without their willingness we look as if you want to scam them. However, I think always good to teach people who have the interest rather telling people who don't have interest. because as far as I know investing in Bitcoin is a personal decision, is not really good to force someone to joined.

I try to explain bitcoin to people. I'm glad that 3 people I have explained bitcoin to bought the idea and invested when they did. My very close friend is the most peculiar case.
He was first convinced by a friend of his to buy a certain altcoin that it would give him a lot of profit in a short time, I didn't know about this arrangement and even then I wasn't into bitcoin, I wasn't even on the forum. Over a year later he was complaining to me about an investment he had made with a friend of his. He said he sent the guy money to buy a certain coin and he has not received a single profit from the coin, he just wants his money back and he doesn't care about any more profit.

I was already in bitcoin now and that was when I began telling him that if he had left his money in bitcoin for over a year there was a higher chance he would have gotten profit. That was how I began educating him on bitcoin and how it was different from other coins. He read up and bought what I was selling.
Somehow he got his money back from the guy and with my help, he set up his wallet and bought bitcoin. We are currently far away from each other but he calls me occasionally to tell me how much profit he has made and how he has invested more since the last time I saw him. Just recently he called to tell me how he took out profit from bicoin to solve an emergency he was faced with.

I feel a little bit proud because he's not only just investing to make money but he totally understands the basics of bitcoin. He knows the risks and volatility, he bought his first bitcoin when it was about $40k or thereabout and he has seen how the price fluctuates so he understands.
I'm also proud because he tries to correct misconceptions people might have about bitcoin and educate those around him. He currently has more bitcoin than me too. I feel like a proud teacher seeing his students doing well  

I don't go about telling every Tom, Dick and Harry about bitcoin but if I see an opportunity where someone Im close to is interested I try to educate them on it and answer their questions. I also do not convince anybody to invest in bitcoin, it has to be their decision.

To be honest, I have introduced many people in my friend zone to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies over the years. And it seems that many of them now have a good knowledge about it and one of them has made a good profit by analyzing it himself and investing in bitcoin for a long time, although he has not sold the bitcoins yet.
And it's actually true that I like talking about cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin more in my community because most of them are currently misinformed about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, many of them thought that Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies were only used for illegal purposes on the dark web. I definitely like to break their misconceptions, and when I explain these things to them, they understand, analyze, invest, and make a profit, but it's not really something to plan. However, we should be careful that it is not wise to talk publicly about your Bitcoin holdings or your financial affairs.

In this world where our privacy and security online and off the internet is being threaten, the people we talk to about bitcoin has to be gauged. I do not tell my friends about bitcoin. I keep all my knowledge about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to myself. There are only execptions when I talk about bitcoin or engage in such conversations and that is if any of them brings it up first and want to know my opinion on it. They may want to talk about the crypto exchanges and when I join such discussion, I do not say anything private, I only talk based on the news and what I have heard and not from experience.

sharing knowledge about bitcoin to others is a good thing, and i myself also do that, but limited to people closest to me, while outside of that i might choose the people i want to share information with because nowadays many criminals already know the price of bitcoin, and i don't want bad things to happen to me when i do that, so i limit myself to sharing knowledge about bitcoin in public and only share bitcoin knowledge with people i already know or i know where they come from.

I have never sat down with my friends and discussed Bitcoin. Out of all the friends I know, some have heard about Bitcoin and some have not, but I don't feel the need to discuss it with my friends because Bitcoin is not legal in my country yet. Bitcoin is still completely illegal in my country, so it is completely unsafe to use Bitcoin from here and I don't want to discuss it like this through this privacy. I always prefer to keep quiet for my own safety or else I will have the possibility of getting into administrative trouble.

I have already told many people about Bitcoin this year, I used to not tell anyone about it before but this year I told many of my friends and family members about Bitcoin and other crypto currencies and I was astonished to know that majority of them were already in Bitcoin and crypto world. Most of them didn't discuss about it because they want to do it secretly but in pure honesty most people are into Bitcoin and crypto these days and that's a fact. So, I believe it's good to discuss about Bitcoin and crypto in general with your family or friends but you should tell them to learn about it instead of suggesting them to invest in it.
