Right now no single crypto person that is not aware of the $trump memecoin launched on SOL network which has not only seen the token soar with hours but has in like manner invariably giving solana some fresh air and attraction.

The reason the community likes Trump is because of his promise to create Bitcoin-friendly policies. If he betrays that promise and focuses on pushing his own meme token to the top, it won’t last long. People will stop supporting him, and that includes his meme token.

The future of meme coins and altcoins generally are not certain but the future of bitcoin is certain and which is a hedge against inflation and as a store of value like gold. If Official Trump pumped very well, that does not mean it can not lose 90% of its marketcap just like other altcoins. Bitcoin can not lose 90% of its marketcap and it is the only coin that I see promising in the future.

Nobody knows why Trump does most of the shit he does. Even when he launched his NFTs collection(s), it was totally unexpected. Even his defi project ~World Liberty came as a huge surprise to everyone. The memecoin as well, completely out of the blue. I would imagine that it is done by people in his team to take advantage of his influence and use it to extract as much liquidity as they can from people.

I also wonder why or if he had been working on this token project underground because I have not come across him make converse of that his coin $trump. So ideally... It's not really certain that the future of the tokens that are launched will be good. You won't know that it might be existing just for a short time before it dies down unlike bitcoin where it's future is unknown but still we will know that many people is still using it and we don't know that more people will be using it as you might have known that there are some countries that banned bitcoin and in the future that might change which every people wanted in Bitcoin which is mass adaption. Since trump use cryptocurreny for political gains then why not use it to launch his own that's why he did but I am not sure if it's really his own or by someone else.

Bitcoin and $trump are too far from each other. Bitcoin is a reputable coin while the other is a meme coin, so which one will lasts? Surely, Trump makes smarter decisions than majority of us, so he will stick with bitcoin in the future. His current meme coin is just to ride his popularity, we can’t even tell if it’s going to be here months from now. If there’s one coin that will compete with bitcoin in the future, certainly it will never be a meme coin.

I don't think it's all planned at all but we can say that being in favor of the Bitcoin community in the US and with several states did really helped him win back the presidency. As for the token launch, it's not sure if the idea really came from him but it could be someone on his team that had told him this and saw the potential and it did well on launching.

I actually saw the listing of that meme coin on the exchange I use, and I must say that I'm very surprise with how fast it could pump within a very short period, but I fear that alot of investors that got in due to FOMO will definitely hit a massive loss if that memecoin fail to pump further than we've seen. That volatility is just too crazy. Price jumping within seconds, which is something to be scared of.

I'm not sure if I can find the thread now, but I think a user shared something like that on this forum. I could remember, because the main discussion was based on how the $trump was allocated, but I can't find the thread now. Maybe I will check again.

Interesting question. IMO, I think trump capitalized on his massive support from the Bitcoin and crypto community in general. Winning the election, and launching his own token was just like killing two birds with one stone. Though, I don't think this memecoin serves any threat, because I believe that whatever law that is been passed on one, should apply to others, including his. And maybe his memecoin might even get a massive backlash if he eventually have any plans that doesn't favour Bitcoin. So, his priorities needs to be clear and transparent.

For the record, no meme coin has surpassed more than the potentials of bitcoin, so this won’t nothing to do with bitcoin in the long run. For now, it’s quite famous, but let’s see in the next months to come. The only person who’s making the biggest advantage here is Trump, he’s not only a businessman, but a genius as well.

Thanks for that information that he indeed embraced the memecoin but I agree with you that it is unlikely to pose a threat to Bitcoin. It remains less secure and more volatile compared to Bitcoin. It doesn’t seem like a serious contender against Bitcoin. Memecoins are riskier compared to more established cryptocurrencies. It’s more of a branding or marketing play than a true technological advancement. Even though Trump’s involvement brings attention, the real value will always be in Bitcoin’s security and decentralisation.

He understand how to used the moment for his own benefits as he launch $Trump token and we see the price increase in a short time. He made a promise to the entire crypto industry, not just bitcoin. His creation of a meme token shows that he seems more crypto-friendly than the previous administration, but a president creating his own token is just too weird and unacceptable.

There is only one reason why this trump coin, even if prioritized by Trump, will never surpass bitcoin and that is because only the American citizens will care about this memecoin. Right now, we do not know what Trump plans to do with this coin. What purpose does it serve? Because I am sure that it will only be beneficial for American citizens. It will not be interesting for those outside of the US.

Bitcoin will always be superior and I do not think Trump is going around saying that this will be the next bitcoin or something like that. He should know that that is impossible and he should not go against bitcoin.
