Do not try all these new exchanges because many of them are scam.

You already have $19000 there and you are unable to withdraw it? Or they are telling you to pay money before you can be able to withdraw your money? Be it the former or the later, both separately or together indicate how the exchange is a scam. It is better you ask about an exchange you do not know on a forum like this before you deposit money on the exchange.

Scamadvisor rated it good but if true that you have money with them and they are seeking for money for you to be able to withdraw, it is a scam. Do not totally trust rating sites.

Avoid this new exchange, which has only been active for about a month, as the retired domain was reactivated on 15/12/2024.

Do not deposit your funds (0.003 BTC activation fee); this is a clear scam. No legitimate exchange demands such high fees, even if stated in their terms and conditions. Notably, this exchange is unknown, lacks any reputation, is unlicensed, and has no official social media links... I’m curious to know how you came across this obscure exchange?

Check [CoinMarketCap] to explore the Top Exchanges Ranked by Volume, and I highly recommend sticking to the CEXs in the top rankings.

My hunch is that this isn't your money, or at least much of it isn't yours. And for you to get that big amount, all you have to do is to send a tiny amount of 0.003BTC. All worth it. What's 0.003BTC compared to $19,000 anyway, right? You can even borrow it from a friend and pay it quadruple, right?

This appears to be a very common scam in the crypto market. You start with a little amount, you're rewarded a thousand times over, and you'll pay another small amount for activation. After you pay it, you'll pay another small amount for processing. After that, another tiny amount for expediting everything. After that, another little amount for approval, and then a little more for releasing, and so on. Before you know it, you've already pawned your cow.

Temper your greed, my friend. Accept that money is hard to find. That's the key.

He is probably the one behind this infamous exchange so I hope you listened to our advice and didn’t fall into the trap. You won’t be able to withdraw the $19K you see there; this is undoubtedly fake money that cannot be withdrawn.

I agree with the opinion of the member above that you will keep paying until they drain all your money, and in the end, you will get nothing. All you have to do now is forget about this exchange and don’t trust what the guy who works with you suggested because if he wasn’t trying to scam you through this exchange, he likely didn’t do enough research and may have been lured into the trap just like you.

I can't believe how people trust their money to random exchange. And we're not talking about $50 or similar amount, but f*cking $19k. It doesn't applies just to you, OP, but many people in general.
Why not to use some well known exchange with good reputation, instead of risking your money on some random website. Checking reviews is is important, but you can easy get fooled by fake reviews. When it comes to exchanges it's also important to check trading volumes of it.

I couldn't help but feel some information may be withheld. Though whatever the case, it doesn't change that fact that said obscure exchange is a scam and we should all stay away far from it.

You should've asked this question before you deposited money there.

It is a classic scam to set up a fake exchange, make people deposit their money on it, and then cynically demand more bitcoins be deposited "so that it can be unlocked", but in reality what actually happens is that they don't return your coins, and instead have the audacity to ask you to deposit even more money for a different excuse, hoping that you fall for their lame requests for more money until you are broke.

Why I think that it was you that paid and not some guy that you work with. By reading some of the post you've mentioned and being asked to deposit just to get your potentially earned money there is already suspicious.

If you happen to skip them and never got them any deposit from you, I'd say that you successfully escape from their scam trap on that fake exchange.

Well, to say that you've won with this situation and got the other person into trouble isn't a victory IMHO.

When an exchange has very little information on the internet and just launched 13 months ago and claimed to be the number one exchange, then you have something to be suspicious about. They cannot claim a title that they don't deserve; they are trying to deceive visitors to register and use their platform.

The OP sounds like a typical promoter of the site having the website url in the subject, or just dumb of this idea when it said the platform needs deposit for "activation" as common sense tells it's already a red flag, and tells they legit in trustpilot where fake reviews are rampant. Most users here even the first reply recommends it to avoid them but look his replies.
