The increase of crime has become the order of the day, citizens no longer has peace of mind, harm robbering, kidnapping, fraud and many more has become a dayly routine.

People are no longer scared of the penalty if been caught involved in crime.
This has given me so much concern and worries about it all. However, there could be a remedy or possible ways in which the rate of crime can be reduced or perhaps stopped completely in our society.

Not exactly that people don't care about the penalty but the thing is that the society has covered crime to the point that one can easily get away with it
If there are a set of people who can go away with crime then why will it be respected by the others.  The society is not promoting law abiding by the citizens especially the government active measures are not put in place to make laws a necessity in the society

In my own opinion concerning the rate of crime in the society now it's caused by the government and also cause by we the citizens. Reasons for this is that:

The government also doesn't create more job opportunities and hardly pay salaries in some situations.  because of this graduate after looking for jobs hardly gets opportunities to good job now in the society, this also makes young graduates begin to become desperate on how to acquire income just to feed themselves and family. Which makes them go into crime and other illegal means of making money.

The citizens especially in the current society where in where we see young people driving cars building houses and living a big life, it makes the young youths of our society to be influenced by all this and instead of them going to school, graduate and look for jobs. They become lazy and desperate for money which makes them go into illegal means just to become rich.

Unemployment is a leading cause of the high rate of crime. Many youths are jobless and we all know an idle mind is the devils workshop. Being busy in a profitable venture will deviate the minds if many from evil.
Another factor that plays a high role in increased crime rate is poverty, many persons are so impoverished that they'll do anything to reduce the bitter pangs of poverty. Poverty and unemployment go hand in hand and a reduction in unemployment will definitely reduce poverty which will in turn reduce the high rate of crime in the society. Another factor to consider is the sensitisation of the youths to avoid anything that looks like crime. Though crime can not be totally eradicated from the society to it can be greatly reduced to a point of almost invisibility.

The main protector of the lives and property of the people of a country is the government and the government law enforcement forces of that country Law and order forces, especially the police, play an important role in maintaining the internal peace and order of the country. In a democratic state, the government is to ensure the rights of the people, but we see that far from enacting sovereign rights, the government becomes dictatorial to achieve its own ends. In this case, the government uses law and order forces to achieve its party goals Speaking from my practical experience, where the law enforcement forces will ensure the rights of the people of the country, but on the other hand, these law enforcement forces, especially the police, behave inhumanely on the people. The police forces are harassing people at every step Along with the police force, some youth gangs and various gangs are formed who threaten the right of the common people to live, making their lives very difficult.

The current day government led a roguish and uncertain existence. These are people in power, having zero respect for the rule of lawz and these laws affects the common man. Social vices are the orders of the day in our present society, what must be done to prevent, rather reduce these vices? The lsck of Job is the min reason why people are going into crime. Since their are no jobs people go into crime because it is the easiest way people can easily generate money for themselves.  These days the government is finding it so difficult to create job and the population is increasing more which has already make things to be more difficult.  The first thing the government needs to do is to control the population and creating more jobs it will sure help in reducing the rate of crime.

I guess governments have arm forces who can protect citizens and their properties without any form of insecurity. government is the highest authority that can handle insecurity in any country because they know what to do to stop those crimes that is making people to commit crime in the country.

It's not always about poor and rich, if everyone have the same financial, there will be a crime too, which is rape. Rape will always exist regardless your gender, your financial status, your face etc, even men mostly cheat with women who look uglier than their own partners.

We are the ones who commit crimes, so as long as there are human beings on this earth, crime cannot be stopped. Crime is not just about the poor, it also involves those who are wealthy and still commit crimes. I don't believe that the financial situation of many poor individuals is the reason for their criminal behavior, though, as other poor people in society do not see crime as the only way to survive.

Many people believe that crime will be reduced if the government provides jobs for the youth. But does the government not commit crimes as well? There will still be crimes committed even if everyone in the world has a well-paying job, since rape is a form of crime, which does not happen because people are rich or poor. Crime is part of human nature, and human wants cannot be satisfied. This was why we have the law and law enforcement agencies to reduce. Crime can only be reduced in a place where there is very little corruption, and love for one another is taken as priority. Bad leaders increases the rate of poverty and corruption in a country, and in such country, there will be high rate of crime.

Crime is a bloodline for all people, but it is not true for all nations. There are some countries in the world that have very low crime rates. Developed countries like Finland, Ireland, and New Zealand have very low crime rates and their annual crime rates are close to zero. However, in my subcontinent, especially in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan, the crime rate is so high that every person here is directly or indirectly involved in corruption. Even though crime varies by ethnicity, developed countries that have learned about the horrors of crime have also been able to control themselves from crime.

There is no way crime can ever stop because we are in a wicked world where some people are already gaining pleasure being wicked to their fellow neighbors which supposed not to be in such a way. Wickedness is something that is built as time goes on.
There are so many crimes in this our generation which was not as much before. As the year keep going, the bad and crazy people are developing ways to defraud people are taken what does not belong to them with force or using tricks.
The crime rate is increasing and the government are even in support of such shits especially all these politicians.

In my opinion one if the best way to contail crime in society is youth productive, what I mean by youth productivity is creating jobs that will engaged the youth and cut off their attention to crime though crime can't be totally eliminated in any given society but can be reduced because statistics show that the youth commit crime more than any other age grade diverting their attention towards productivity or work engagement reduce it faster, a your can Forster to crime mostly when it's found idle doing nothing or lack productivity, there is a popular says by my people that only the idle men has time to play around notwithstanding idle man is a devil's workshop, government can create medium where youth can even help reduce crime buy raising financial support to many youths to build up small scale business or industrial that can also employ others.

But unfortunately, these are rose-colored glasses, since few people even think about other people's feelings. If you look at it more broadly, on a national scale, then look at where there is less crime. Where there are high fines and the death penalty. And what does this mean? I don't think there's a way to erase crime completely in our society, how can we stop crime when the people in high position that are suppose to fight crime are involved in crimes themselves, our politicians are the ones more guilty of crime, those who are suppose to uphold the law and protect citizens are often the ones perpetuating crime  but they claim to be fighting against it. Crime can only be reduced but it can't be stopped because it has gone too deep into the society and it's unrealistic to think that we can completely eradicate crimes
