Years ago, I made the mistake of wiping my computer without properly backing up my Bitcoin wallet. At the time, I had around
7 BTC stored, which seemed significant even back then, but I never imagined what it would be worth today.
I've spent countless hours over the years trying to recover it—searching through old drives, using recovery software, and even consulting with data recovery experts. Unfortunately, I’ve had no luck so far.
It’s a tough lesson I’ll never forget, and I’m sharing this as a reminder to everyone: always back up your wallets securely and double-check before making irreversible decisions.
If anyone has experience recovering wallets from wiped drives or tips that worked for them, I’d love to hear about it. Sometimes I still hold out hope that there’s a chance, no matter how slim.

It may not be possible to recover what you have lost. If it was possible, you would have done it long ago, as you mentioned here, you tried a lot but you could not recover. If it were me, I would have done the same because I would have tried my best to recover 7 Bitcoins, which is a huge store of value. But if you are aware, it will not be enough, every investor and user should be aware here because this mistake will create a situation like yours in the future. I have kept my wallet seed very safe, even if my mobile device has a problem for some reason, I will definitely be able to recover it later and this is what every investor and user should do.
