I had an interesting thought this morning while reminiscing about my gambling journey. I started wondering if it was truly worth it. Then I remembered my big win which I shared here on the forum a while back and I would say, YES, it was worth it. Of course, only if you don’t get carried away in the process. The key is self control! knowing how to walk away and never betting more than you can afford to lose is key
 
So, let’s have a fun discussion. What got you into gambling? For me, it all started when a friend had a major win years ago. That inspired me to give it a try and along the line the things I read on this forum also  helped me learn to play responsibly. Sure, I’ve had my fair share of bad decisions, but overall, I’ve managed to stay in control.

Now, over to you, what was your biggest win? And can you confidently say that you gamble responsibly as it should be?

Honestly, my gambling journey isn’t a huge deal, I just treat it like any other regular activity and have some fun. I don't spend endless hours gambling because, with sports betting, you can place a few bets quickly on your phone or computer. It’s pretty normal for me now, probably because I’ve learned to be a responsible gambler.

The best time I remember was when I won a big parlay, but since I ended up losing most of the time on parlays, I stopped doing them and now focus on simpler bets like moneyline odds and point spreads.

If you think about it as your bread and butter or a way on where you can get a passive income then provably that you will never say its totally worth it since what you can earn is just disappointment due to that losses and any other stressful situation that you might encounter a long way while playing.

But if you are just there trying to seek for fun activities especially when you are bored at home then we maybe can say that everything is worth it especially if you hit those situation that can make you feel excited plus you win something from those games you play or teams you placed some bets.

The first time I gamble is when I was a middle school student, I buy scratch card from a random seller, the prize is gift and small amount money. For many people it's not gambling,  but for me that's gambling, we can lost our money or we can get something from our money. That's lead me to the real gambling when I get older.

Was it worth it? if we're talking about financial, nope, since I loss more than I win. In terms entertainment, it's worth it.

You have two good questions here.

My firsrt step to get into cryptogambling was in 2014 when I was looking a the blockchain.com site and I saw a lot of transactions with two websites signature, one of them was Luckybit and the second one was satoshibones, I opened Luckybit and un my firsrt minutos on the chat I won a price.

And the second question about the huge wins, I had a lot of them in the past years, by $1,200 usd was the biggest one.

Been quite long time and until now I forgot how much money I got from big win in the past, I got some big win with very good multipliers but that was quite long time ago when I still loved spending time and money in slots games.
Whether all these win can be called worth it because basically I have spent lot of money while I was familiar with gambling and if I talk about loss then I have received lot of lost so far, gambling can never be profit in my opinion because we are just gamblers ordinary who make mistakes very often.

I think that what got me into gambling was looking at my father play the lottery when I was a child. I started playing it myself when I grew older and continued to this day. And when you have already passed the first barrier to entry, practicing other ways of gambling or betting is easier than starting from scratch.

About my biggest win, I never won big. Below 50$ in my best play. It is true that I once won a PlayStation, which is worth quite more than that, but I don't know if the OP is relating to these prizes when he asks about winnings in gambling.

About responsibility, there are some red lines that I never cross, and that's the key. So yes, I consider myself and confidently say that I'm a responsible gambler.

No big win yet to reminisce on, been gambling for quite some time but it always has been just the actual moderate winnings, nothing spectacular has happened while gambling instead i have lost my money severally when i believed my predictions were rightly picked, the chances of winning must have been stronger compared to losing but still ended up in loses. Those who would reminisce and say it is really worth are those who has made huge winnings that has been able to cover up all loses.

My reminiscing is not something to be very proud for but in regards of gambling appropriately i can say yes, truly i have never lost too much at once that i begin to regret ever gambling, we lose when gambling, it is something normal and experience for all.

I say if a person is still getting angry whenever he loses a small amount then he is still a responsible gambler. But those who don't even care when they lose and will keep on depositing nonstop, they better check themselves because that's the sign of a gambling addiction.

Anyway, I started also when a friend introduced to me sports betting and since a certain sports betting site also has casino and slot games, that's when I got hooked on it. But as time flew by, I got bored with these games easily and went back to sports betting.
Today, I am playing both but more on sports and I think it's cheaper spending that way than playing casino games which is a continuous gambling and I don't really like it.
My biggest win was $500 in slots and it's the max win of x5000.

I can't call myself an active gambler, and my experience is insufficient to draw any conclusions. However, by regularly reading the forum and slowly starting to try playing online casinos, I got involved in this activity, and now I don't look like a noob when my friends offer to have fun in the company. I can say that having discovered gambling, I did not get rich; I did not even win any significant amount, but I did not lose much money either, since I have always been very careful with my expenses. If you are someone who approaches the gambling with the perspective of weighing the money spent versus the rewards made then I am sorry gambling will always disappoint you for 90% of the time. You can't gamble because you feel it's worth the risk and what will be your decision if you never made any big wins? Will you quit or trying to reach that big win one day, if later is the reason then I would say it's chasing the loss and it's really a bad thing to practice as gambler.

I might have said my gambling trip in 2024, honestly the journey is not good as I expect, maybe I'm not too responsible for the money I use in gambling.

I also hope that in early 2025, at least I have to be responsible for doing my gambling activities, at least I have to take into account money out and win in gambling, But I don't dare to say to win in large quantities, but at least I have to be responsible for the money that is at the bet.

In the journey of gambling last year, I never won in large quantities, maybe that year was not a lucky year for me, but I did not regret that, at least balanced money was released with victory.

For me, to keep gambling alive, I have to look back on those past wins even if they're few, they're still sweet memories. Some people say gambling is a waste of money, but I say it's all good because I enjoy it, even if I lose most of the time (gotta admit that!).

I think I remember bagged 800usd as my biggest on gambling but those are eaten away by some fo the games I played so in short maybe I didnt feel the profits since I loss some too on some of gambling games. Its really a losing streak on gambling and quite hard peat to continue winning.

It's good to only remember the wins and forget the losses as that’s what keeps us going.

For me, I haven’t really hit it big. My biggest win was just over $1k, and that was a one-time thing. Most of my wins are more regular, usually around $100 to $200 on a single bet. I'm happy with that because it's a big improvement from before. that means my wagers have increased, which would say I'm earning more in real life to fund my betting.

I was attracted to gambling by watching my friends. We friends used to play card games. And gradually it turned into gambling. And then sometimes we friends used to go to the casino. This happened 8/9 years ago.

My biggest win was when I made about $1,161 in 1 game of Gates of Olympus, I haven't had the same thing happen since. As for responsible gambling, sometimes I do it & sometimes I don't.

In my case, I started making sports bets because I like football. I like watching football matches and following the results of the teams, so one day I thought: "When I watch football matches, I feel happy when before and during the match I test myself by trying to predict the results and when I get it right I feel happy, so why not put money into it?" That's when I started putting money in, a small amount, something for me to have fun, sometimes I get it right and sometimes I get it wrong. It's that simple.

From my many years in gambling I have only two huge wins, one x11339 multiplier and the other x9883 multiplier and beside these very few over x2000 or x3000 multipliers which for me are not worthy compared to the time, effort and the years I spent playing these games. I agree though that gambling can be fun if done correctly though I have quit forever now from 2 weeks and can't say how happy I am, no stress, no expectations of wins, no lost amount of money makes up for all the fun that gambling usually provides to people that gamble. I personally never look back and am very happy in the situation that I am in. It was 5 consecutive super buy bonuses that paid 500x each to buy and only got no more than 3x from each buy, my nerves could not accept it and now I am a free and happy man.
