US Withdrawal From World Health organization (WHO) Support.

It was said that DOGE exposed these guys which the US is not funding these corrupt organizations anymore. I couldn't say its the right thing to do because there are definitely lots of lives going to be affected when US gets out of WHO. I guess its time for African countries to be more independent when it comes to their health.

They're going to have to take care of themselves and find vaccines among their neighbors after all there are more countries still members of the WHO.

US financial and other support to the World Health Organization is helping the organization to provide some assignments to many developing countries. But the current government in the US have said that there is so much financial irregularities going on. The US government should investigate these allegations of financial misappropriation and sanction culprits. I don't think it will be beneficial to the global health system if the biggest donor decides to withhold funding. My country, needs the support of WHO because we don't have enough funds to finance our health systems.

African countries need to really come together to work towards building self-sustaining healthcare systems, even though the transition may require time, support, and collaboration from various top stakeholders to ensure the well-being of their citizens.

That is the most correct solution. African countries cannot possibly hope to be pitied by the West. They need to build their own health network, which is independent and helps all its members.

So far, African countries have been pitied by Western countries. That is why until now these countries are not independent in their health. They continue to hope that the West will provide assistance to them.

The most correct solution is to build their own health system where members can help each other and contribute to each other. There are many countries in Africa that can be said to be able to do this. It just needs encouragement. And what America is doing should be a trigger to spur African countries to form their own health system framework.

Trump threatened the same withdrawal in his first term, he is Trump so he can do whatever he likes. But one thing he always forgets is that; it's only 4 years and will soon complete.

Imagine US withdraws their support and the government of these countries fails to provide these vaccines and drugs for their citizens,
Can the citizens afford the actual prices of these drugs?
Will the mortality rate not increase?
What will be the health care systems of citizens?

All your questions shouldn't be directed to the US citizens but to the world, it's the world that might suffer it, the US citizens will be just fine. Their pharmaceutical companies and research institutes are even steps ahead of the WHO, but they don't make announcements like the WHO that is saddled with the responsibility.

As much as I dislike this, Trump is right about one thing, as rich as China has become, what is it doing? China has always been far behind in funds allocations to world's projects.

While I can understand the hatred towards pharma companies (because I do hate them too) at the time of COVID, people who are arguing now (or even argue back then) were not aware of the situations at hospitals to realize why people were willing to vaccinate. I would get 10 or 20 shots if I was asked to at the time, if doctors or even government (which I dislike both) told me I need to get 100 shots, I would have done it.

Because at the time, I was at the hospital all day almost everyday, for some reason, for another person and not me, but I was constantly at the hospital. And those millions that died of covid? I can tell you that the real number could be even higher, because I have literally seen death itself every single day.

I do not have any scientific reason for it, I can't explain to you what's in a vaccine, I can't tell you that man didn't create this virus, I do not care any of that, I have seen people not be able to breath, and gasp for one last air before they die, every single day, dozens of times. If they told me I need to pay them a monthly subscription fee just to be able to keep breathing, I would, it was scary. If you never saw those, you would not understand it.
