Well, if it's AI like what ee have now then it doesn't pose a threat since AI needs human intervention before the AI will make it but if it's an AI like in the movie where it does have it's own consciousness like a human then it may be able to create it's own coin yet the question is will it make people believe in the coin that the AI made?. i wouldn’t be surprised if that happened in the future though technology has been developing more and more ever since eventually that is gonna be invented by someone and we’ll have to see if it results to more good or more bad

I think you are misunderstanding the Op context as you refers your opinion to be Ai trading. I think he mean if Ai could be a program to build a crypto currency that would be ahead of bitcoin in the future instead of using human initiative to run the coins potential program.
To me it is usually easy to say than being done and I don't see feasible reason in anticipating for a coin ahead bitcoin in the future as bitcoin of now is doing so well and so will it be in the long term future. Although I am not in doubt that there could be coin to be invented in the future with the potential to surpass bitcoin.

In my own opinion I don't think AI can pose a threat to Bitcoin by creating its own coin that will be superior to Bitcoin no matter the coding skill. Perhaps it may code and creat a new coin, and I can't doubt but it can not be classified into any other thing rather than altcoin and all altcoin has the same potential. All are the subsidiary of Bitcoin. Bitcoin still remain the Father. Even if Ai create a new coin it will need people to invest and watch how investors will be able to fund it. Bitcoin growth is controlled by demand and supply, so for AI coin to supersede Bitcoin, it will need it's market capitalization to supersede that if Bitcoin and it must be limited in supply. And people must see reasons to why they need to invest in it. Meaning people will need to be convinced to trust in it before they can freely invest. And this will take a lot of time to be achieved .

I trust your statement. AI can never be a threat to bitcoin. Although AI can be employed in the development of bitcoin if the need arises, but AI cannot make a coin more powerful than bitcoin. I will rather invest in Bitcoin with proven node runners and developers maintaining the network than to leave the network security in the hand of an AI.

Don't be too thrilled by AI because as AI dominance increases, time will come that the demand of humans and humanity feels will be scarce and becomes an asset.

There's already some AI used in creating code. Code creation is not the only major thing determining how a crypto project will thrive in the market.
I don't see any reason why any altcoin created by AI will be superior to Bitcoin if there could be one, we would have seen the government coming up with one before supporting BTC.
Second, Bitcoin seems to be unstoppable because of its consensus and it is the real decentralized crypto in the market.
Third, every crypto that was introduced after the creation of BTC emulates the concept of BTC.

I don’t think AI is here to compete with bitcoin, or it could be a future threat to bitcoin. AI only exists to provide us detailed analysis and reliable insights in order to solve complex problems from different aspects, financial, healthcare or even in our academic tasks, but not to replace humans, or replace bitcoin. It may suggest potential coins like bitcoin but it won’t point out which could be the best among the rest.

AI with reinforcement can be good at trading and creating such a bot for trading can be helpful but it's still risky as bot might make trading mistakes and the one who used the bot for trading might end up losing money if the market dumps pretty badly but I believe it's highly possible to have a bot that performs really good even if market dumps and that type of bot can be very useful for the ones who believe in DCA + Dip buying. I also agree with you that AI is not going to create a coin that's going to be better than Bitcoin. Even if it creates a coin that's better than Bitcoin I won't consider that coin over Bitcoin.

AIs are unstoppable, just like technoloy. We don't have any notion of what can be done through AIs in the following years and decades. For me, the fact AIs can make videos is already shocking, as they look pretty similar to raw dreams we have during the sleep. If things continue improving this way, I fear to think where we are heading into. I don't know what is possible and what is impossible anymore.

The only thing I can say is that AIs are developing too fast. If we talked about its current stage in 2020 or 2021, I don't think people would believe it would reach this stage in a short period of time like that. So who knows what the next following years will bring to us.

They'd need another Satoshi Nakamoto then. I mean it's probably possible to set up a similar infrastructure to what Bitcoin has, leave it to the world to handle. But then it'd have a direct competitor. One that already exists, and one currently priced at $100k. I reckon there won't be any growth for something with that kind of competition. Maybe assist in terms of involvement instead? Though I reckon AI doing that is par for the course. I mean, it's an assistant in of itself right now already! Imagine what it can do in a decade.

And at the end of the day, both Bitcoin and AI are stuff you use. Bitcoin can't directly use AI without any intervention, at least for now.

Nobody knows what will happen with AI development and the crypto world. AI isn't that sophisticated, so it can't write perfect code, but this might change in the future. I don't get the point of AI creating it's own cryptocurrency. Who would trust such altcoin? Definitely not me.
Maybe AI will become powerful enough to brute force all our private keys and seed phrases and steal our crypto. This is the main threat I can think of. Maybe the Bitcoin developers should upgrade the cryptography around Bitcoin on another level.

Bitcoin's code isn't superior to other altcoins, there are many altcoins with superior code but they aren't number first because the code is not the key in this case. Bitcoin achieved what others didn't, Bitcoin collected the highest market cap and is the only truly decentralized cryptocurrency. There are other amazing projects with superior code like Monero. I think that Bitcoin has naturally better marketing than any other coin, which is one of the most important contributors to its success and Bitcoin is decentralized, that's why so many companies have invested billions of dollars into Bitcoin business like mining, exchange, payment and etc.

No one can be sure whether the existence of AI is a threat or an additional force where the internet sector will be maintained by AI by placing Bitcoin as one of the means of payment for services offered by AI. We will always clash between AI and Bitcoin in terms of coin creation, although AI can create better coins, that means with the many types of AI that are now spread, they will slowly compete with each other. It would not pose a threat to Bitcoin and neither can it makes a coin that will be superior to Bitcoin. When people invest in Bitcoin, they are not doing so because of what Bitcoin can do but because of the feeling they get from making profits from Bitcoin and the reputation that Bitcoin has. Bitcoin is free from the control of the government and nobody has authority over Bitcoin but for other coins, there is always someone that has authority for the coin. Bitcoin has a very strong community that has been trusting in Bitcoin for a long time and they would not abandon Bitcoin for any new coins for a long time. When the coin launches, there will be some hype around the coin but it would not last just as we use to see with other new coins being launched.

The latter is more realistic regarding Bitcoin using AI for its own benefit than the latter which will fail due to somany obvious reasons. The AI that will do the coding to generate a coin that you think will be better than Bitcoin is going to be a product of one tech company which automatically means that in accepting whatever coin they come up with, the nature and integrity of the tech company is going to be seriously looked into and that alone will make it practically deficult to expect it to become nether ghan Bitcoin.
