Laziness is a culprit to poverty no doubt but, We still have alot of people who work hard and they are still poor does it mean they are lazy? Most times is connection and most times isn't all about connection but getting the right information no one likes to be poor everyone is trying their possible best to get rid of poverty

I believe people who are poor aren't lazy, though depends on your definition of lazy. Lack of information relevant to financial freedom is what keeps people poor, not laziness. A truck driver working 20 hours a day isn't lazy but yet Poor and striving to feed his family. So it isn't a matter of laziness that makes people poor but lack of information, lack of right direction, poor investment choices, lack of Money management skills, etc. I stand to contest your word of "poor people are banned lazy".

There is this statement often spoken among people of my countryside that "he who life is favouring will think that others are lazy that's why they are not excelling". There's a place you find yourself in life that with every little energy you put into work everything just fall into place. Meanwhile others will need to generate 3x energy into achieving just half of your achievements.
Another factor is that if you have to find yourself in a country with a dwindling economy then you would have to work as 3x as hard to just attain a little for a three square mile. Places like that you'll need to have a strong connection with those that are already at the top to be able to make it into the circle of those who could be counted wealthy.

Latin America is one of the regions in which people work the most hours when compared to the United States, Canada and even some countries in the European Union, people work very hard here, up to eleven hours a day all days of the week, and yet, this regions is considered to be relatively poor (in spite of the immense mineral and energy resources there are underground). So, the mount of work one does not have much to do with the level of wealth someone has under one's name. There are people who are born within a rich household and they have enough money never to work for the rest of their life. In the same manner, there are people who are the least fortunate and cannot even afford to go to school and learn the basics of mathematics, administration and even laws.
There is a correlation, but it is not applicable to the one hundred percent of the cases there are out there.

laziness is an abusive word used politically and socially to blame the person and make them the culprit, as if its their choice to do nothing... .. so lets instead try the word "lacking"
SOME people do lack the energy and desire to prosper... but MANY people lack the education to know better, lack the opportunity to try better, and lack the time to explore better, lack the able body to do better
the other thing to note is how poverty is measured. relative poverty is where the median income of a populous is calculated and then relative poverty is 60% of that median income number.
so lets experiment average income texas of $36.5k for $30.5m ($1.11T salaries in circulation) now lets imagine we now add elon musks salary of $0.1T it becomes $39.7k median income.. nothing changes socially, politically, opportunistically, apart from elon becoming a texan
so the relative poverty line moved from $21.9k (60% of $36.5) to $23.8k (60% of $39.7k) where the facts are, the state has not changed, goods pricing has not changed, everyone elses income has not changed.. but simply elon moved to texas..
so someone working 40 hours a week for 52 weeks needs a hourly income of: $10.52/hr previously(pre elon: 21.9k/52/40) and then needs $11.44(due to elon: 23.8k/52/40) just to be on the relative poverty line, no other circumstances have changed in peoples lives but elon moving to the state
so anyone earning under $11.43/hr is now in poverty due to elons presence in their state
now lets note absolute poverty which many calculate by the very minimum expense to sustain a healthy life. this calculation can be manipulated alot(and is) for instance its based on cost of shelter, utilities and basic nutrition
many countries have "special deals" which not everyone can obtain. such as low cost housing, discounted utilities for certain demographs, types of food availability
so when they calculate the minimum housing cost and find the most cheapest food to sustain healthy nutrition. this absolute poverty number becomes super low. and this number is then used for the basic of offering social security welfare benefits
so lets use some examples lets say garden pea's was a necessary nutrient as part of the diet plan of the poverty calculation here in the UK you can get 1KG of frozen garden pea's for £1 which 80g is a portion so £0.08 a portion but some dont have access to supermarkets with a freezer section(urban food deserts), nor a freezer at home to freeze food. so end up buying canned garden pea's
£0.50 canned pea's for 2 portions so £0.25.. as you can see a 3x difference between what the politicians calculate as the poverty limit vs what people in 'food desert' area's actually have access to
.. in short this is not about laziness.. its about lacking of opportunity, access and lacking of a good fair measure of what poverty actually is. and lacking of an economy that only offers peoples income above this amount

But I see that laziness can have a far worse impact than what we can imagine on our finances, even for someone who has privilege. not really. privileged people are privileged exactly because they can afford to be lazy. how much rich kids you know are out there doing nothing to earn and make a name of themselves? the answer is many Okay maybe someone is not lazy at work, doing 24/7 workers but he is lazy to learn finances, lazy to manage finances so that even though someone has a good income but does not learn finances he will be stuck in the same hole too, a few sentences that conclude even though they have worked hard, but if there is laziness towards learning, both skills, knowledge, relationships, business and other abilities that can support into better living conditions he will remain in the same position, as in the example of the average stupid person not genetically or social but because they are lazy to learn.
of course this is not always true because not everyone simply has the time to work and learn something else when they are the only ones providing for their family but yes i agree that other may be lazy in a sense that they do not want to improve themselves and instead stuck doing just one thing because it is the easiest for them

People born poor are not lazy and I support your inputs here, their condition is what seems to be bad together with the background, but most of them were actually hardworking as we can see, we need to go to some remote areas to see the way they are inventing on something new to help their daily tasks and make work done easy for them, they may lack the advanced technologies, the ability to fund on purchasing any, but the strength and determination will always be there to help them remain contempted with what they have and enjoy life at their own category.

Don't you realize that poverty is in fact born from laziness, maybe I won't explain how lazy it is and what lazy looks like because it is generally understood. But I see that laziness can have a far worse impact than what we can imagine on our finances, even for someone who has privilege.
Okay maybe someone is not lazy at work, doing 24/7 workers but he is lazy to learn finances, lazy to manage finances so that even though someone has a good income but does not learn finances he will be stuck in the same hole too, a few sentences that conclude even though they have worked hard, but if there is laziness towards learning, both skills, knowledge, relationships, business and other abilities that can support into better living conditions he will remain in the same position, as in the example of the average stupid person not genetically or social but because they are lazy to learn.
It's easy to attribute poverty to laziness especially for someone that has a little privilege to get certain things easily. Many persons work so hard their bones are nearly at the brink of breaking but they have nothing or almost nothing to show for all the hardwork. In many countries the people that actually do the greater task are nearly if not almost wretched, while the people that dish out orders, give directions are earning so much more. Looking at a sector like agriculture, the farmers that are on the field tilling day and night either with the industrial method or crude method don't even earn close to the owners of factories that convert the raw food to other products. That should tell you that wealth has little or nothing to do with working hard but alot to do with having the right opportunity and being able to understand times and season.

Lazy peo6will always complain that they are not making any money, some would even argue that they don't have a job and they have been looking for one but have not seen. Laziness had made many people poor because their thinking faculty is not able to tell them that they needed to look for something doing rather than seating at home or in their comfort places without working to take care of their bills. Majority would end up in the gambling shops just to try their luck but most time, everything else end up in less achievement. Laziness is very bad and we all have to strive to fix our shits and get back to work.

Many people live under the laws of thermodynamics and must have a wining strategy when it comes to burning calories. This effects both individuals and populations.
In chronically low resource areas, people who 'work to hard' will exit the gene pool. It's worth remembering that the brain while being 5% of the body by mass consumes about 25% of the metabolic activity.
Being 'lazy and stupid' is, on evolutionary time-scales, 'not a bug; it's a feature.'
I find it frustrating to try to deal with lazy and stupid people but also try to remind myself that these people are actually better adapted to a lot of environments than I am. Only in quite recent times, and in select environments, is being 'hard working and smart' such an advantage.
Of course there is individual variation and I regularly run across 'natives' who are every bit as capable of thriving in the modern world as am I. As someone who finds socio-evolution of the human species to contain many compelling hypotheses, I feel that every population needs a small contingent of people to perform complex tasks well. For instance, tribal chiefs, witch-doctors, etc. What they do not need are, as we used to say, 'too many chiefs and not enough indians.'

Thats a lot to unpack! So, you are saying being "lazy and stupid" is actually a good thing sometimes? Thats... kind of weird to think about. Okay, so you are talking about how people in places where theres not much food might be better off if they dont use up all their energy. That makes a little bit of sense. But calling people "lazy and stupid"? Thats not very nice. It is true that everyone is different, and some people are better at some things than others. Like, some people are really good at running, and others are really good at solving puzzles. And yeah, brains use up a lot of energy! But that doesnt mean being "lazy" is the best way to be. At least thats how I feel.

At least thats how I feel. Yeah, I have a tendency to think 'orthogonally' and don't try to correct it because it has served me well. Putting things as I did was certainly 'not very nice', but doing so was not my focus. And in my defense, I did use 'air quotes' in a feeble attempt to qualify things a tiny bit. For my part, I try to remind myself that being 'lazy' or 'hard working', or being 'smart' or 'stupid', has nothing to do with one's innate value and dignity as a human being. One of the most obnoxious aspects of 'smart and hard working' people (who often are 'successful' because of it) is that they tend toward thinking of themselves as having a higher 'value' without really thinking it through. Very judgemental. Often enough this leads to some very significant atrocities. I've long felt that the 'lazy and stupid' can at times be disgusting and dangerous to be around, but they cannot really be genuinely 'evil'. Smart, capable, and successful people can have to work at it to NOT be evil. They commonly fail, and unfortunately for humanity in it's present form, they commonly 'fail upwards'.

I agree with you @Op but only to an extent, no people loves to be poor, some poor people are doing the best they can with the little resources they have but it's not just enough. Most of us have unlimited resources at our fingertips to achieve and get the good life we want. Poverty is often a result of circumstance and lack of opportunities, no one in their right senses will choose to be poor even when they are presented with opportunities and unlimited resources. Poverty is never a choice.

There are many people that are poor not because they are lazy but they have not found the right opportunity that will make them become rich. Everybody need to keep the hustling steady but not in an illegal aspects. Hard work pays and many people are working to make sure that their family become successful when it comes to becoming comfortable and living and successful lifestyle.

Lack of knowledge would also be one of the culprit why some poor stay poor no matter how hard they work. For me the main reasons why people couldn't get out of poverty is due to: - Laziness
- Lack of Knowledge
- Spending too much
These three are the reasons why others couldn't improve in life.

Why not take a cart? Why mutilate yourself?
Because they can't afford a cart, even though they are hardworking, they are simply unfortunate to be living in a poor country where corruption is likely high. I’m sure they know that a cart would make their work easier, but since they don’t have the financial means to buy one, they have no choice but to do things manually, the hard way. We can’t blame them, and we should never think they are lazy. They are not lacking in effort, just in opportunities.

Many "fortunate people" always forget if they live in less crime countries, raised by parent and family, have a place to live, going to school without need to think to make money, have someone we can share story, don't need to afford parents and brothers/sisters needs etc. When they see there's someone who unfortunate than them, the fortunate people will blame them lazy. Such people always blame the effort, instead of thinking about their privilege. It's bad when people don't think about their privileges. Some people are obviously more privileged than others. Think about people whose parents left alot of fortunes before they died. Think about people who make high amount of dollars monthly but don't share with anyone or help family people because everyone in their country works and earns. Think about those whose government has provided all amenities and those whose government have created alot of problems, for them to succeed, they will first solve the problem created by the government.

Laziness is a culprit to poverty no doubt but, We still have alot of people who work hard and they are still poor does it mean they are lazy? Most times is connection and most times isn't all about connection but getting the right information no one likes to be poor everyone is trying their possible best to get rid of poverty
We should be able to train ourselves to become self independent, hardworking, determined and positive towards our goals. These qualities possessed, does scares poverty away? I'm afraid not because it's nature for man to dig the ground for purpose to feed. Been lazy for the fact of not acquiring useful information to escape poverty. Laziness steps in when one have tried his best to beat the clock towards acquiring or placing his hands on huge sums, it can be something of great deal of value. You've made a good point. Poverty cause so many setbacks in a man's life. We can be anything in this world but don't ever settle for poverty. It's outrageous to see the heavy damage poverty can cause on one.

Most people that are born in a wealthy families are lazy and they do not understand what it means by trying to hustle your way to become financially independent. We ought to be strong and focus on our dreams because this is one of the ways we can get what we want and reach the level we want to reach. Poverty had made it looks like many people are not hand working because they have not gotten the opportunity that will change there life to better. Once opportunity meet preparation, everything will turn to better which is what many are looking for.
