There was a truce that was supposed to be the beguining of a peace process and eventually of something similar to a normal living and a re-building. But then Trump speaks with Biyi and somehow he decides that the best way forward is to appear in public saying that he is going to deport forcibly 2 million people, to countries that will need to accept them forcibly and that will develop the area into a Riviera.

Is anyone surprised that Hamas decided that if would be better to keep fighting?

This is what happens when simple minds try simple, yet wrong, solutions to complex problems.

gaza is already a torn up area that needs to be rebuilt. but gaza needs outside help to rebuild. but they dont want isreal or jordon or cairo or lebonon to run in, as that feels more like a new invasion..
instead trump is offering a separate option. for the US to manage the rebuild and also manage the rules of housing the homeless during the redevelopment ensuring that the surrounding countries dont over step any invitations to work(rebuild) in gaza, nor letting resettlement countries setting rules of 'no return' on the people they invite in to live in neighbouring countries

also it was the bombs that already destroyed peoples homes that already displaced those in gaza.. they dont have homes anymore..
trump is offering them a managed/mediated offer to put them somewhere they can live whilst the rebuild happens
homes in neighbouring countries that are a little reluctant to take them in unless they can benefit from taking over gaza

what trump/gaza deal does not want is where gaza becomes jordan/isreal 2.0 whereby jordon/isreal temporarily house gaza population but then not let them go back home in gaza. the deal is to set the rules of play that after the rebuild the gaza population can return to gaza.. by not letting jordon/isreal set the rules of their own conditional resettlement as a method of takeover of gaza

I don't watch broadcast news (I read, although I am not educated).  I make an extra effort not watch Fox news but when it comes to Trump I have to (from time to time) because their bias is for him so I feel the need for their perspective.

The things he is saying and doing are so wild to me that I want to make sure it's not deep faked.

Trump is serious about:
Canada becoming the 51st state, buying Greenland, renaming the gulf of Mexico, privatizing the postal service, taking back the Panama Canal, building housing for Palestinians somewhere else: it will be so great that they won't care that they're not allowed to go back?
And putting Christianity back into America --> absolutely counter to our constitution's 1st Amendment.
He won by a majority vote, we can't even blame the electorate, yet he still wants to cast dispersions on how many votes Kamala got.

He once mentioned "jokingly" to the press that he'd consider making Canada the 51st state of America. Regarding the aid US gives to Canada, with no good reward. He also added that the Canadian government refused US banks eligibility to operate in the country - news channels claim he's wrong. However, the last administration probably made bad deals with Canada that didn't favor the USA. They bought cars from Canada, now, Trump doesn't want it anymore. Although, it's going to be a tough deal getting the Prime Minister "Justin Trudeau" to accept turning the country to a state of America. He's a tough guy and hard to make deals with.

Its really weird that just before Trump took office he was promoting that he would get a ceasefire
in Gaza but all of a sudden when Netanyahu turns up at the Whitehouse Trump has sidelined
the ceasefire in favour of a Riviera and possibly more Trump Golf courses!

IMO and from what I have listened to is that Netanyahu played Trump big time, all he had to do
is plant a seed with Trump and the President in true fashion is growing a forest from it.

It was clear to me that Netanyahu couldnt believe what Trump was uttering at the press conference
and was enrapt with joy!

There was a truce that was supposed to be the beguining of a peace process and eventually of something similar to a normal living and a re-building.
Wrong.
This was a ceasefire and as I explained in the victory topic:
This is a great victory and the beginning of the end of Israel. But this is just ceasefire, not peace. As long as the occupation continues and the Zionist terrorist organization exists, there won't be any peace.

As long as the occupation of Palestine continues, the war does too.

But then Trump speaks with Biyi and somehow he decides that the best way forward is to appear in public saying that he is going to deport forcibly 2 million people, to countries that will need to accept them forcibly and that will develop the area into a Riviera.
Wrong.
US regime has been repeating this genocide plan for years. Back in 2023 the Israeli terrorists were planning a bombardment operation on Gaza so much so that they'd force the population to leave. That plan that got leaked to Gaza intelligence made the Resistance to plan operation al-Aqsa Storm that was executed as a Preemptive strike on October 7. The damage to the Zionist terrorist organization was so devastating that their plans fell apart.

Trump is not saying anything new!

This is FALSE INFORMATION: Trump has clearly stated that Palestinians would be permanently relocated and will have no right to come back. That is not "managing" and is not a "separate option" is deportation (moving someone from where he or she lives to a place they do not want to be in and keeping them in there by force).

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crimes_against_humanity

Quote
According to the Rome Statute, there are eleven types of crimes that can be charged as crimes against humanity when they are "committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population":[4][25]

Murder;
Extermination [including "the intentional infliction of conditions of life, inter alia the deprivation of access to food and medicine, calculated to bring about the destruction of part of a population"];
Enslavement;
Deportation or forcible transfer of population;
Imprisonment or other severe deprivation of physical liberty in violation of fundamental rules of international law;
Torture;
Rape, sexual slavery, enforced prostitution, forced pregnancy, enforced sterilization, or any other form of sexual violence of comparable gravity
Persecution against any identifiable group or collectivity on political, racial, national, ethnic, cultural, religious, gender as defined in paragraph 3, or other grounds that are universally recognized as impermissible under international law, in connection with any act referred to in this paragraph or any crime within the jurisdiction of the Court;
Enforced disappearance of persons;
The crime of apartheid;
Other inhumane acts of a similar character intentionally causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or to mental or physical health.

Not managing.. nope.

Also, note that much friendlier countries to Palestinians are willing to manage the process (e.g. UAE, Saudi Arabia) and do not require deportation.

I suggest something better... since Israel destroyed Gaza, they pay to repair it to the Palestinians and the Palestinians create the construction companies that re-build Gaza. See, it is easy to have a plan.

[...]
Wrong.

You are aware that this is dificult to believe uh? How is the logic about launching a "preventive strike" that actually makes the Israeli plan go ahead? I know you want to sell all this as a victory, but it certainly looks like... I do not know... Not a victory at all?

BTW, not all Israel is happy with this. There are groups in Israel using this "Final solution".

In my opinion, as long as Netanyahu continues to keep his position as a prime minister of Israel and hold onto power a long lasting cease-fire and peace deal will be literally impossible. Hamas will continue to exist if there is some kind of concession given to them. Netanyahu want to completely wipe out Hamas off existence but that is rather unrealistic, and to me it just rather as an excuse of the government of Israel and the government of the United States to start to seize land from Palestine and annex to Israel (illegally).
If the people of Israel and the people of the middle east actually wants to reach a long term cease fire, it would take for Netanyahu to be outside as prime minister of the state of Israel and be replaced by someone more pragmatic and with a less violent rethoric against their Arab neighbors, allow Palestine to have their own territory (free from terrorists) and both nations to cooperate.
But neither of them will recognize one another and thus, we can only expect further violence to ensue in the middle east.

That is what the Zionist are saying themselves. Otherwise I am not a member of Gaza intelligence to know what they knew. The Zionists said that they were going to carry out this terrorist attack against civilians and "bombed them out". It wasn't really a secret either when a massive gas field was found in Gaza which they want in and also with the Arab-Med corridor passing through there meaning they needed to "eliminate" Gaza first!

The preemptive strike meant that Gaza:
- Had a knife under Zionists' throat with the ~thousand Zionist soldiers they took prisoner as an asset to force release of tens of thousands of Palestinian hostages (men, women and children that would have never been released otherwise)
- Dealt a heavy damage on the Zionist war machine by eliminating countless Zionist officers practically annihilating the Zionist chain of command
- Destroyed their bases around Gaza and the equipment inside
- Took over strategic territories and were advancing liberating Palestinian territories and were reaching West Bank as they took weapons and equipment (eg. Tanks) as they advanced.
- Most importantly the significant hit on the spy services of the Zionist genocidal machine that crippled them on day one and the intelligence gathered led to destruction of countless Zionist terrorist cells in multiple countries around the globe.

The overall damage was so significant that in a matter of weeks the Zionist war machine ceased to exist! If it hadn't been for US regime deploying various units (eg. Delta Force) and officers to lead the genocide against Gaza, the genocide would not have happened and today Israel would not have existed, hundred thousand Palestinians would not have been slaughtered and occupation would have ended...

So basically when the US Army general Hokanson leaked those classified communication on October 13, 2023 talking about how US troops are unwilling to help the Zionists, what we didn't know back then was that he wasn't talking about possible future deployment, he was literally seeing the deployments and he thought he could do something about it. Little did he know, Zionists have a better grip on US military than US generals...

BTW, not all Israel is happy with this. There are groups in Israel using this "Final solution".
With what? Genocide? I don't think so. They are happy about it. The occupiers are always happy when the "natives" are eliminated, otherwise they would not have migrated to an occupied place.

Additionally according to their own media and the surveys they've published over the past 15 months, what the Zionist occupiers are unhappy with is the fact that the head of their terrorist organization, Netanyahu:
- Didn't get their soldiers back 15 months ago while he could do the same thing he did (prisoner swap) 15 months ago
- Led thousands of them to their deaths
- Tens of thousands of them to crippledom
- Caused the destruction of 70 to 90% of all their bases, colonies and infrastucture in Northern occupied Palestine (due to heavy Hezbollah bombardment of North all the way down to Haifa)
- Caused the shut down and unemployment of a lot of them across the occupied land like in the South (due to heavy bombardment of Ansarollah)
- Revealed that despite all the lies they've been told about "impenetrable Iron Dome" it is easily penetrated with simple rockets with low intercept rate and failed 100% against ballistic missiles and UAVs
- Gave Iran a legitimate reason to bomb the shit out of them not once but twice and getting ready for a third round as well
- Unmasked their terrorist organization to the world to the point that not only the global majority saw the real Holocaust but ICJ recognized them as criminals committing genocide and ICC issued arrest warrants for them and whenever they travel anywhere (even in the West) the legal system may arrest them for participating in acts of genocide.

Otherwise such animals that take even their children to watch genocide as entertainment are not unhappy about it:
Quote
What is grotesque and absurd and obscene that I was not expecting was where we went to to look at Gaza [...] we went to an observation platform, an observation deck just like you have overlooking Niagara Falls including with the big binoculars where you put the coins in so you could see!

This is an observation platform that looks into Gaza.
An observation platform that observes the Genocide.

There are two ways of achieving peace in the region. One of them is to effectively create the state of Palestine and provide the means for it to become a viable estate with rule of law, free of extremists and working towards peace. People tend to be much more reluctant to join armed militias when they can get a job, go to uni, etc...

However when kept artificially in poverty, jobless and futureless you get people like Pooya who are no longer able to have balanced points of view and has the brain fried in Ayatolah's propaganda.

The other, the apparently simple but practically not really doable is to remove all Palestinians. With Biyi and all the US bankers backing him this is the "solution" of choice, so yes, while the radicals control the Israeli government I do not see any kind of peace, just or not just.

I saw this cartoon just now and it reminded me of this topic. Although to me it is mostly depicting indoctrinated people who follow the "mouth" rather than being about that mouth (Trump) itself. People who follow a mouthpiece or two and one day cheer for al-Qaeda in Syria because that mouthpiece was telling them to, the other day they dictate what Palestinians should do like a sheep because the mouthpiece was covering something else that day... [...]

Grin

Why don't you go home and look for women without a chador to detain them and kill them while in custody? I am sure you are good at that.

You are absolutely ok with terrorism, as long as they are YOUR terrorists.

P.S. let's just invite a Nazi saluting billionaire  to head an agency named after (my favorite) meme coin to access American's financial data while subverting democratic processes.
P.S. He pardoned the seditionists capitol rioters and wants to prosecute the January 6th commission.

All of this because he wants to put "America 1st".

I just don't have words to express how I feel about the state of my country right now.

How are we to be taken seriously in the global community?
Although this is serious, not just for my country.

We are at 89 seconds to midnight.
Honestly, it's insanity. I could post a text wall about his insanity, lies and creepiness. But it's not even the absurdity of that banal man that bothers me. It's the fact that huge part of USA sees that convicted creepy white criminal, with a mental decline as a more popular choice then an educated and competent colored woman. The whole attitude and culture creeps me out, because it's often leaking in here as well.

And it's not the USA, as a country people aren't taking seriously around the world, it's republicans and maga-people who we openly ridicule.
Only thing why most leaders aren't openly laughing at trump, is because we live in the same planet and we have to get along (as long as they are leaders chosen by democracy).
And since USA seems to be into fascism now, attitude might take a turn to even worse later on.

Also, because trump is just too petty and volatile, leaders avoid making openly fun of him, so we speak in a way, that trump or trump minions don't have a capacity to understand the undertones of.

But more then laughter, everywhere i look, i see anger. People have started to boycott pro-trump companies like X and Meta. X links are being banned or frowned on, or even banned in many cases. And tesla owners, who bought them before this, are now embarrassed to drive with them. And that's just a scratch of a surface.

Trump is not joking about that and it is not a one time mention.
Trump IS one of the former administrations that made what he calls "really bad deals, so terrible"     ---> watch the daily show clip that I posted it is satire: but it's also the truth.
Trudeau announced his resignation in January. To summarize my limited understanding of why: because he doesn't feel like he is effective as his parties leader. Maybe those in his government will see the extremism happening in the U.S. and see that changes in leadership could be de-stabilizing? Probably not.

for clarity

gaza is already a torn up area that needs to be rebuilt. but gaza needs outside help to rebuild. but they dont want isreal or jordon or cairo or lebonon to run in, as that feels more like a new invasion..
instead trump is offering a separate option. for the US to manage the rebuild and also manage the rules of housing the homeless during the redevelopment ensuring that the surrounding countries dont over step any invitations to work(rebuild) in gaza, nor letting resettlement countries setting rules of 'no return' on the people they invite in to live in neighbouring countries

also it was the bombs that already destroyed peoples homes that already displaced those in gaza.. they dont have homes anymore..
trump is offering them a managed/mediated offer to put them somewhere they can live whilst the rebuild happens
homes in neighbouring countries that are a little reluctant to take them in unless they can benefit from taking over gaza

what trump/gaza deal does not want is where gaza becomes jordan/isreal 2.0 whereby jordon/isreal temporarily house gaza population but then not let them go back home in gaza. the deal is to set the rules of play that after the rebuild the gaza population can return to gaza.. by not letting jordon/isreal set the rules of their own conditional resettlement as a method of takeover of gaza

I don't really have much to say about this thread, haven kenly followed the leadership prowess of Trump in the past I can conclude that when it comes to the issues of the Israelites Trump would always have a special interest geared towards protecting and defending them, hence we can't overemphasize the fact that Gaza is now under the full control of the U.S government.

I've been online for a long time (decades). Anonymity has been an interesting phenomenon to observe and be a part of. This forum is tame compared to others.
Many segments of society have been going through a shared identity crises ("White Men in America" as an example) and what we are experiencing is pushback.
Humans oppress and exalt each other and each of us look to how society views us more than is admitted. Ego makes us genuinely fragile while making us think its a strength.

We [humans] are the boots of oppression on each others necks and the invisible hand that moves markets.

Nothing that is being done now is new; it's just being said out loud: imperialism, colonization, caste systems, decimating people for land, stripping resources from people to profit establishments.
Power collects and corrupts.
As Americans we are told that our government is a "Government of the people, by the people, for the people." (Abraham Lincoln). Does that ring true?
It should be obvious that corporations run our country now (and yours wherever you are).

It's not just a boycott of "Trump companies." Don't spend any money on February 28th.

I do not think that everyone who voted for the current POTUS believes everything he says - it would be difficult to believe. We are where we are because the Democrats failed spetacularly at reading the electorate and put all the effort in promoting those things that are precisely not that popular among many.

But the US people understand that now is time for Trumpstuff and will have to bear with it. By this time, everyone is expecting that at least some of the politics have some short of success and some -  even if little - of the promised stuff happens.

As for the world... look, this may actually be positive. The world has grown used to have a reliable US in the sense of reasonably predictable, but now we are facing an scenario that will force most countries to adapt. The future may bring less dependency from the US and there actually could be a "multipolar" world as Putin's propaganda claims.

I don't know if his voters even follow the news, but i just have to assume that they do, and knew what they were doing. Anything less would be patronizing. So i am assuming that they perfectly well knew, that they ordered fascism to take over democracy.

What comes to rest of the world. I agree that we need to cut some ties to unreliable allies. So far we have placed way too much trust on free trade, because that was self stabilizing concept and beneficial for everyone. But just one broken wheel on that system breaks the supply chain, and many of us (US included) will see how much we actually needed those working and fast supply chains.

Paxmao, no one believes politicians and unfortunately we've come to accept their fecklessness. Trump on the other hand has been very effective in playing the American people against each other.

I'm not sure how accurate this link regarding the Saudi's considering a rebuild of Gaza but it is an interesting clip
