It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Low 3900, minimum around 3000.
High 24K, top 48K

It depend when and how the next bubble develop.

I have this feeling 2014 will not be as wild as 2013 but more like 2012.

But 2012 was nothing to lament, because it went from a low of 3$ to a max of 15$.

Much depend on how much MB e M1 inflation for the USD there will be.
Currently MB's is higher and M1's in near at the same level of BTC's inflation.

When BTC inflation go structurally lower than USD inflation things will become red hot.

Hard to predict but my sixth sense says that the price will be 1400$ after the drop caused by the bubble.

$417. I say this because people will start panicking about taxes and cash out in front of that to pay off some of their taxes... you pay off your taxes before people end up collecting tax returns... the latter event kicking it up. I also expect we will hit or get near $1,000 before then, however. It will be a topsy turvy ride.

$3787,86

The value will be exactly that.

After a rise in october to 10k$ it will lose a 70% of the value after china bans it again.

4150 on stamp
Please consider rewarding with something that will exist in 2015

Lol, good point. I've never even heard of CBG until now.

My prediction: $3828.50

CGB has been around for quite a while, I see no reason to think it won't be valuable in April of 2015.

My entry is:

$1111.20

Man this is depressing looking at all the people guessing in the thousands and we are at $240 lol.   I guess on a brighter not there are tons of people who think that it can go that high.

I believe this should be the winner:

135$

The contest was closed on 1 June 2014 so all who posted after did not count.
Even if they did Fonzie would still have won...

If anyone does not agree, come forward or I will payout soon.

94$

Btw. I won't short, but I'll buy more if it goes that low.

So, did "Richard Branson" win with his $94?

That was a really good bet no one expected. Most people guessed thousands too much.

@fonzie also bet 266$ on June 2, that was disqualified for being only 1 day too late.

It seems that we have now found out who has been controlling the price all along.

There was another bet for 417$ by @Newbie1022, made in August.  In log scale it would be closer to 250$ than 135$.

Academic interest in bitcoin only. Not owner, not trader, very skeptical of its longterm success.

This is pure entertainment. Especially the guys who predicted Bitcoin will go over $2000 which is insane!

Once these guys see how far off their prediction is they might edit their post  Cheesy
