The saddest part is the European leaders cheering the war fanatic who has lost sense of reality. That is the most unfortunate sight of this year.
Almost all of the European leaders that cheered don't have a popular vote among their own citizens but if Europe kept on going the path of war, they'd destroy themselves socially and economically. The world should move on ignoring Europe, they don't offer anything useful anyway.
Not really sure what makes you to call Zelensky as war fanatic and what his actions shows that he lost sense of reality. Because things that he is saying is reasonsable and makes sense. Trump & co so far is only pushing conditions which is favorable for Russia. It's nothing strange that Zelensky and European leaders doesn't agrees with it.
I don't think this was a pre-planned scheme to take down Zelensky because his meeting with Trump was only scheduled when both sides had agreed on the mineral deal beforehand. That means they only met and signed the agreement because the agreement had been approved and agreed upon by the negotiating delegations of the two countries beforehand. It was just a normal conversation between the two presidents before the official signing of the agreement, but unfortunately an unnecessary argument happened.
Zelensky is very brave but he is making things more disadvantageous for himself and he should be aware of that. He should restrain himself because the purpose of the meeting with Trump is not to argue who is right and who is wrong. He has forgotten the purpose of that meeting.
Maybe it wasn't pre-planned, but it's not secret that Trump and his people aren't very positive about Zelensky and it's old story, way before this Friday meeting and even before elections. And he immediately got attacked by JD Vance for not wearing suit. I don't really know what he could have done differently to avoid this situation.
