There are sites (at least two) where you can buy a single share in a company of your choosing, accompanied by a stock certificate (assuming the company still issues them, and many don't). Scripophily.com is apparently one of them--and MSTR is sold out, but I'm more familiar with giveashare, though I just looked and could not find any Microstrategy stock available. The other alternative is to buy shares through a brokerage like E-Trade and then request a certificate through them--for a fee, of course, and some brokerages no longer offer certificate issuance. On a related note, I have to post something I got recently but haven't taken a photo of yet. I'll edit this post once I do. Nice certificate and magazine, OP! I've started a collection along the same lines, but we'll see if my minuscule budget can sustain it.

love it! if I did this though, I would have like 200 or more - would need a lot more space than they already take up lol I do like it though very nice.

I've had notes and coins graded with PCGS here in Australia - their agent keeps announcing they will do cards, but then that side of the business fizzles out, so I've never been able to grade any of my cards. There is someone locally grading and encapsulating comics, but like magazines I personally wonder "what's the point" of encapsulating something that was meant to be opened and read.
Thanks for sharing. It's given me some ideas.

I've heard that argument quite a few times before, and my thought has always been that slabbing a comic/magazine is a way of preserving and protecting it--and if you want to read the contents, buy a reading copy if it isn't cost-prohibitive or otherwise find the content online or elsewhere (like a library). I see both sides, but I guess when I look at professionally graded magazines & comics I see something that would probably look fantastic hung on a wall and something that my cat can't ruin by using it as a litter box.

I just curious if this kind of slab doesn’t get moist even on uncontrolled room temperature? Or it still needs to be place on specific room temperature to avoid moist.
I have a terrible experience on preserving my collectible cards since my country has a high humidity with random weather in daily basis that’s why my cards got moist even on sealed binder.
You have a nice collection protection.

Maybe the fact it remains unread or has been kept in pristine condition is where the financial value of the reading material lay. As for your cat, no comment I've heard that argument quite a few times before, and my thought has always been that slabbing a comic/magazine is a way of preserving and protecting it--and if you want to read the contents, buy a reading copy if it isn't cost-prohibitive or otherwise find the content online or elsewhere (like a library). I do not see why humidity would be a problem. If I were you I would place inside when it is a dry day this way any air that is encapsulated inside is already dry. I cannot see any air infiltrating inside...it seals pretty damn tight

Pretty cool.. Just curious, how many mm's thick are those? or do they vary? (not counting the screws ofc) Lastly, are they 2 piece, or 3 piece slabs? Thanks!

There's been a couple of comments concerning hanging encapsulated comics or magazines on the wall which got me wondering what sort of UV filtering these holders have to prevent the cover fading over time which would in effect change the overall grading of the magazine/comic?

indeed cool pices and also the service of redwolf sounds very interesting maybe this is a service that could grade my bread magazine for me...? attempts via cgc or cbcs were unfortunately in vain due to the thickness. i also found a grading service in germany ( https://www.apgrading.de/) that would be possible according to the dimensions given. but i would rather use an american company to increase the value or does it matter to you americans which grading company (.us or .eu) is behind the service?

Pretty cool.. Just curious, how many mm's thick are those? or do they vary? (not counting the screws ofc) Lastly, are they 2 piece, or 3 piece slabs? Thanks! The outer pieces are 1/8 of an inch each and with the inner piece the pic above comes out to 1/2 inch. Solid and no...no flexabality like some are asking. And I get asked as well...did I send my items out. NO! I take my collectable measurements and send to them. They send back I assemble together very easily with 4 screws! And yes the thickness of the inner piece varies depending on the item. The bitcoin comic book is a book so those measurements came out to IIRC 7/16". As per website Each Acrylic Comic Case is laser cut to fit only Modern Age comics. Each case is 3/8 inches thick and consists of three 1/8 inch pieces fastened securely with stainless steel fasteners.

Good point...I ordered them with (OP-3 Acrylic) 98% UV Protection versions. And no I would not hang them anywhere near sunlight either...I love the dark and my pieces will be in a dark room with artificial light. Same goes for my stamp collection...anyone of my rarities is either in the vault or on the wall in a good place away from the damaging rays of the sun.

Looks like you need these four magazines, hand signed by me! I’m the lead illustrator and a partner of this magazine. It’s primarily for German speaking people, but the quality is so good that I doubt you’d find anything like this even in English. We started this because there was no available information in German, and it eventually turned into something like this.
