Bitcoin is more reliable than any other cryptocurrency, but I remain optimistic about alternative coins. While Bitcoin offers advantages like decentralization and better on-chain security through its proof-of-work system, I believe that other coins have the potential to yield higher returns in satoshis than Bitcoin itself. There is always a window to invest in alts - however, the main part of any portfolio, basically, should be BTC.
Because the bigger part of the portfolio should be reliable and stable, as far as it can be done.

Bitcoin investment will be the best investment for them so they don't have to invest in altcoin especially if they don't know how to pick the right altcoin. Even if Bitcoin price is too high for them, they could still buy Bitcoin using small money and hold it for some years. But no problem if they still want to invest in altcoin but they must research before they choose the altcoin. That’s the advantage of bitcoin, it may drop its price due to price fluctuations but surely it will recover immediately, unlike when altcoin drops, there’s no certainty if it will still recover its price or just end up having no value at all. If you are an altcoin investor, you should know this one, altcoins may offer big rewards, but most of the time huge losses especially if you invested into newly developed altcoins where scam is high.

However, hodling bitcoin may not guarantee all time profitability, but if you stick to the basic buy low and sell high, you will definitely make profits with bitcoin.

Well, no doubt we are in the first quarter of 2025 and there is a long way to go in this year and in this bull season but short terms there are a lot of bearish news that is adding pressure on the markets. First the CPI data came unexpected, then there was bybit exchange and also there is a possible that we may see a new pandemic as i see that the social media and news media is fearing that the world is near to another pandemic. All these things aren't looking good for risker assets like bitcoin or stock market, however i do feel that once things settle down, the bitcoin will rally again in Q2 or Q3 of this year.

We are just 2 months gone from 2025 that’s if we are to already count this February as another month which have ended, so bitcoin still have long 10 months to make a difference from the past 2 months which we can see a bull market and not just the unstable up and down price movement which Bitcoin have been facing in the past few weeks.

HODL is such a nice strategy, but only if you have the right plan. Like I have my own experience if you want to do an investment for the long term and you don't have any good plan, then maybe you can't catch up to such a good yield as compared to someone who has a HODL plan, i.e when to take an entry and when to take an exit (mini 5-10 years). So we all need to understand that Bitcoin investment is good, but making a plan with a smart mindset is good. Having a plan for long-term investment always bring up zero tolerance for concern. Because in the short term Bitcion goes up and down due to volatility. So that why HODL called the safe way drive....

So littrely your point is right we should not lose hope on holding because it always give us effective result. But at the same time, you have to make a plan, and then holding strategy can give you a full array of dominant upshots.

I agree with you about risk of investment in altcoins but people are free to use their money and do their research on Bitcoin and altcoin projects for knowing more about those projects and have their own belief or disbelief in those projects.

Most altcoins fail and die with time, but if your logic is applied with Bitcoin like in 2009 or 2010, it's earliest years, there would have been no people who wanted to bet their money with bitcoin, and Bitcoin adoption would have not begin years ago. People who spent money in Bitcoin in earliest years are either intelligent investors or just purely gamblers but the fact is their contributions to Bitcoin adoption growth. Their contributions must be recognized as it's very important for Bitcoin adoption history.

Yes Bitcoin is a great asset that we shouldn't play or coming to trade around with, Bitcoin has stand toll to be the king of all cryptocurrency, no matter how Bitcoin continue to dip we shouldn't panic since our plan is to accumulate Bitcoin and hodl for long, if we have more money which is to be our discretionary income this is an opportunity to accumulate more Bitcoin, invest aggressively in such a way that it won't affect your personal needs which will make you later sell out in a short time. No mater the situation with the DCA strategy we can still be accumulating Bitcoin regularly regardless of the price of Bitcoin and continue to holding.
