For me, I sometimes play for hours and really enjoy the game, but there are times when my eyes start to hurt, especially when I’m watching with so much excitement. It feels like it’s not healthy anymore. What advice would you give to those who can relate to my experience?

This usually happens when playing in the highily volatile casino games where winning can be so difficult due to the payout prizes are bigger.
If I just talk out of experience, the eyes burning happens mostly when I have played on several times with the expectation to win and yet I am keep loosing.

I will not deny that because it is true what you said in gambling, one of the types of slots can make us addicted to gambling, so we can do it by spending hours and that happens when we are aware or not aware of it. An hour every day sounds like a lot to me. That's 1/16th of your non-sleeping life dedicated to gambling.

That's probably on par to eating, which is vital for survival.

You can take a break for a while and do other things so you can also distract your mind not to think about gambling. If the fund you have in your account, or aim to deposit on a casino is what determine the time you spend on the game I believe you need to be more careful buddy so that your gamblin enthusiasm wont turn into addiction  because the fund is what determine the time spent on game it mean you can sacrifice something more important for the game just for you to quench your thirst for the game.

Personally, it's hard for me to say because everyone's life routine is different. For example, in my case, if I spend more than five to seven hours a week playing slot games or sports betting, it wouldn't be a bad thing for me. Because in my life routine, I only get this much free time to gamble.
Now if I say this time might be good for everyone else, I shouldn't say it because there may be people who, with all their work and everything else, may not have that much time in a week.
So I would say to initially check your life routine and then see how many hours of free time you have and what you are spending them on. Then you will understand for yourself how much time per day it would be better for you to spend on it.
