I have not panic sold at these lows or anything but must admit getting very very tired of the obvious manipulation in the market particularly since Trump came in 6 weeks ago.

Bitcoin went from $85k up to $94k and back down to $85k in the last 30 hours, that can’t be normal?

Why did we even crash again after the great news yesterday? It just feels very wrong what is going on currently and it’s very draining.

The tariffs I understand are not good news for crypto but do we think they are just a cover up for this obvious manipulation by the big players in this space?

Why is everyone getting themselves into unnecessary panic all because of Trump's recent coin which he launched, we have to know this that even if it wasn't launch, things will always be as usual with the crypto markets by their ways of being volatile, we are going to have more reasons for this even if the incident of Trump coin was not involved, this same way the market have always played during a particular season.

It is normal, those that have invested within this period and hold would have made their profit by now after selling, if it is that easy to manipulate, then everyone would have been involved in doing this.

This is not about the shitcoin Trump launched; this is about his influence in the market. Trump is, to some extent, being just Trump in this market. Keep the fucked-up shitcoin (Trumpcoin) aside. What happened in the market yesterday was not about his meme coin. I see some level of market manipulation.

Bitcoin is volatile; nobody will argue against that, but the pump that took Bitcoin to the level it reached yesterday and the drop that happened today is a clear indication of a shady market that's not just a normal market movement.

It's definitely shady cause it's almost as if the manipulation was intentional done but I don't know how to what extent this will continue. Bitcoin no doubt is volatile but this movement is just like an altcoin cause the pump yesterday from 84k to 96k and dump today from 96k to 85k is just not something you see often with Bitcoin market movement and who knows if we can see more dip due to same influence again or maybe probably an increase but am sure the price isn't getting steady anytime soon.

It might not be normal, but just at it that way, if you are not affected because you didn't panic sold then you should be fine. And most likely there are what we call day traders, who short Bitcoin to make such quick and squeeze some profits.

You will be ok even if there are manipulations from behind, and if you want to sell, then it's best during the peak or near top.

The change in numbers is not important. 10-15% volatility is normal in the Bitcoin market. Remember that it's traded 24/7 around the world. All it make take are two nations or large groups/players to trade differently to cause the kind of volatility we're seeing now. Given the 2 year bull run to all time highs, the Bybit hack and political involvement from Trump, it's bound to be more volatile than stable.

I honestly share in your sentiment and you are very correct about whatever perception you are coming from. I was bitterly complaining to my brother why is Bitcoin market so volatile this time around. I have checked the volume of Bitcoin and it has dropped drastically and that is the reason the whales are able to manipulate the market. Honestly we are talking about the king of cryptocurrency and not any random shitcoins. I thought that bitcoin price will continue to rally within the range of 90,000 to dollars just after the Trump's strategic reserve announcement, and from there we could enter the last phase of the bull run. There is an obvious abnormal manipulation of the bitcoin market and I don't think this is right.

Meanwhile, I have seen a positive side of this short massive movements. If bitcoin can add $8k within few hours and also loses it before within few hours, it means that during the bull run, BTC can move from $120k to $150k with few hours. The bull run could be massive.

Well, based on analysis recently I don't see any manipulation it's overbought and momentum to push the price is getting weak plus it's near higher trend line most of the trader will think that it's risky to hold at that area instead they are going switch short position. Even there's a good news for technical analysis gives more insight what will be the next price action.
Better learn first how to read the chart and draw some trendlines you should be able to see why it drop.

I don't know the future but as we see it now, Trump and his entire family supports crypto currency and have even launched their individual coins and since getting into power, it makes more sense that his policies are in favor of cryptocurrency and that's a very good reason for the market to be affected by anything he says or does in championing the course of cryptocurrency. While Trump was yet to be president, we all saw how powerful the market moved based on the promises he made. In fact, that was the moment I knew that he already have what it takes to change the condition of the market in a very short time. Barely less than 40hrs, his own speech has already set the market in a panic mode, which might continue like this, till he probably comes out to say something good. That's the situation we've found ourselves. He isn't controlling it though, but his influence is something else.

Aside that, we must not give in to the pressure and panic. Just imagine someone selling his/her Bitcoin during the dump at about $87K, and ended up buying back at $90K, only for the price to move back to $86K. Big institutions are just eager to buy as much as they can, so selling is definitely a lossing game. We hodl.

Stop linking Bitcoin only to every thing The United States does.  Bitcoin is not an United States asset, it is affected just as much by international news and Trump being silent for 3 days in a row does not equal to a static Bitcoin market!

Look at all the previous cycles of Bitcoin, they all had really big swings both up and down in short time spans.  85,000 to 94,000 and back is the same as 0.085 to 0.094 and back.  It LOOKS different due to multiple digits but it is the exact same.

I understand there are corrections on the way up in a bull run but I just didn’t think a 11% move up then a 11% move down the following day was normal. If it is then fine, but to me the whole crypto space just feels very dodgy right now.

Trump making billions on his meme coin and then dumping it, I find that crazy that it’s legal to do that.

I will keep holding, and buy a bit more if we go lower. I expect altcoin volatility , I just didn’t expect Bitcoin to be this volatile day to day.

I am buying the low prices but when it comes to selling for a quick trade I do not want to do that as knowing my luck i will sell for a 10% return and it will keep pumping then i will have to buy back in higher.

It is just draining, not sure if this is normal for a peak bull run year but it feels like the big players are happy making quick trades right now rather then letting the market pump back towards new highs.

Why don't you rest? You've been on this forum for a little less than three years, and you're still surprised that the price of any cryptocurrency can change by 10% or 20% in 24 hours? This is completely normal, especially in the current circumstances - get used to it.

$100k is just a psychological limit and unless you sell large quantities I don't see why it would matter. Theoretically $100k may not happen for months or ever - does that mean you'll hold forever?
