I've always criticized exchanges repeatedly due to their activities and allegations surrounding project listings, securities, and more. However, today it seems the tables have turned in their favor because of the good deed they did regarding this project.

For those who just came to the cryptocurrency space 2 to 3 years ago, may not know this project. $AB is an advanced blockchain ecosystem that evolved from the Newton Project, established in 2018. I farmed it back in 2018 when trustwallet was hot, but had forgotten about it until they rebranded, and eventually got listed. The exchange also rewarded long-term people like me Here. I just hope this project will reach the level of BTC, ETH, and others due to its longevity.

Honestly, I'd never heard of that project, probably because it is not recognized in the market. You have said it is rebranded, and what is the reason? To scam innocent people and take their money?

If they have been lost in sight many years ago, it means that this project is dead already. To see them back and even claim their listing to the exchange is good. But this still gives interest because what happened in the past is likely to happen again. Because it was already a questionable project in the first place, bringing it back alive will never change the outcome. It will soon leave again and vanish.

Its rare for a project to make a comeback; they can make a comeback if they do not do a rug pull, but they need to have an explanation of the long layoff and why there are no updates or communication for a long period of time. Rebranding requires big promotion and a lot of money. Sometimes it is more simple to create a new project and start to promote it then to rebrand the old and forgotten one.

I don't trust forgotten projects and just rebranded to get back; its better to rebrand a coin while it is still live. The reason could be that they are migrating to a new chain and need to rebrand itself, but a dead coin being rebranded is not good.
There will be investors who lose money from that long forgotten project and file a scam report for vanishing, and its comeback could be interpreted as trying to do a second round of scamming.
I can't recall that project you've mentioned, but it will be hard work to regain the trust of new and old investors.

Also if a project was soo good, why it was forgotten at the first place? Projects with real utilities are surviving fine in the market. So I think a forgotten project has a slim chance of getting back on track. Even if they get back somehow, reaching the level of Bitcoin or ETH is impossible.

The market is already crowded with millions of dead coins and Blockchains. The competition is immense.

i do think that a project can do well after being rebranded but it certainly wouldn’t reach bitcoin and ethereum’s level usually though most projects that are already forgotten are forgotten for a reason so there has to be a valid reason or cause for why the project will suddenly garner attention

Even though the owners work on fixing the problem, the market has grown past projects that wouldn't meet up to the demands and functionalities they promised to their users. However, having seen it got listed, then, publicity is all they'll need to gain back few more users like yourself that could remember them, and do a little PR on their behalf.

The project was created back with another aim and objective so it is something that will help both the whales and small traders, we that even farmed some years will also enjoy

They actually didn't close down because of any issue, it wasn't even listed that time so now it has been listed and issues have been resolved unlike the other time.

No, its the same project and the name is just been change so what can you expect from them? If they fall down for the first time then provably that there would be another flop for that project that's why better not to waste your time with them since its like they are trying to get their old community back and scam them for second time.

There are lots of good projects to enjoy and why give a chance on something failed before?

One funny issue i have with you people is that you tend to jump into conclusions without zero research on something being said, just because someone had issue with a particular project some other time does not mean another project will follow the same pattern. And i for one that has done my research i saw a potential not only about what i mentioned, but also about the deposit and trade to get more of $AB airdrop. And even if you are still doubting again try and Lock BTC, ETH & BGB and see if you won't get more of $AB. These things are not hard if you follow instructions.

Rebranding of old forgotten project can only do well if maybe it was now handed over to a different professional team and they decided to work on the project so that it can make name, else, rebranding doesn't guarantee anything, it does means that the project will do better if the team doesn't correct their initial errors. I know one meme coins that have been rebranded more than twice now yet no improvement.

A rebranded project is where you canvassing for the interest of investors into? Lol. What makes you think it wouldn't go back dead in its former state as it were before it got rebranded?

You even comparing this shill to bitcoin is just crazy because for a project that hasn't equally shown any sign of having a potential to rely on after a long dead period, you're already hyping it to possibly get to the level of bitcoin. no need to expect much from a project that has been abandoned for a long time and then comes back with new branding, the possibility that they will be successful is not that high, especially when they are on hiatus from the beginning because of a bad case, maybe to claim success like before will be thinner.

it is better for the project to remain as it is, and the team that wants to revive the project to build a new project, with a new name and new structure. that way they can avoid the negative things associated with the old project and then they can start everything fresh without being burdened by past problems.

I think I have been in a project twice that has rebranded their project, they never regain back the users activity. And eventually the project died. There have been several projects that did this, none of them I see anymore but their telegram still are active.

Because some users thinks its a scam already trying to leave some users that hasn't migrated to the new contract. And these developers only allowed these users to migrate at certain time.

What do you mean by you want the project to reach the level of Bitcoin and Ethereum? You don't need to be writing this because it's just very funny to imagine that such a project will reach the level of Ethereum not even Bitcoin. Does the project has influencial team banking it? There are so many questions you need to ask before you need to think about the project having so much adoption that could reach the level of Bitcoin and Ethereum just because you are holding or given the token for free.

There are so many projects in the market that had crashed just because of the team are not serious with the community.
It would be very hard for you to see a project that has lost a bunch of investors just because of inactive community or the team unseriousness to take the project to the next level. Don't bother if holding for too long g because the same thing could happen again and the project might get dumped.

Depends on how much forgotten it is. I mean it's fully forgotten, then we are talking about someone who is doing pretty much a normal situation and that is not really that big of a deal, we need to realize that is a normal situation without a doubt. I get that we are going to end up with something that takes a while, but that doesn't mean that we are going to see a good result at all, we should be considering how things could change over course of long time and people could feel fresh.

So basically, if nobody remembers, then rebaranding means basically a brand new project for people and in that case it could work. But even one people remembering it means that it's going to end up as "this failed before, so may fail again" fear.
