As many as would solve the addiction problem or offer the right solution to those in need of one . I see it's much too from my perspective, but nevertheless, the pivot varies differently bringing forth a separate concern for discussion.

Personally I don't want to be free from gambling since it offers some sort of mental relaxation for me when necessary. As long as I gamble moderately and don't throw more than my gambling budget entails into the casino, I see no reason I'll want to be free from gambling when it's not a problem for me.

You may not be at risk of becoming addicted as you are aware of the bad qualities of gambling. You are somehow gambling with yourself without your knowledge. Gambling is just an option for entertainment, in a world of millions of forms of entertainment and it should be enjoyed in moderation. If you look at it the wrong way, like thinking a casino is beatable enough to make you rich, then you are destined for failure. There is what we call self-conviction. There is no amount of suggestions/advice you will give to an addicted gambler for him to quit gambling that will make him quit unless he has self-conviction or should I say self-realization. Addictions is something that is hard to deal with. Most people go to rehab and after some time, go back to do the same thing they were admitted for addiction.

Self control is everything and the remedy to addiction, it is not easy but you have no choice than to be discipline and do what you need to do to be free from addiction.

Sometimes it is very difficult to have self control when you lack understanding,  for gambler that addicted to gambling they need to first understand gambling,  the uncertainty,  the risk involve in gambling and winning as a luck.  Understanding all these I think it can be easy for one to apply self control but when one still struggles to understand, then self control is just a waste of time because it won't work.

Dont forget that people can be addicted differently. One can be addicted to gambling and spend most of his salary on it, other might be a person who always borrow, steal and dont repay debts. Third one can be a lonely guy who gambles every Friday evening with 100 bucks, gambles low bet whole night until he runs out of money.
