Crypto Gambling Site Ads popping up on Social media and picking up steam

Anyone else noticing this? I mostly just use Insta but what’s kind of funny is I never saw gambling ads until just recently and in fact, maybe two of the recent four posts I’ve found,  I found were for” dual bits” the current campaign I’m in. I thought this was really cool. I know I took a screenshot somewhere. I will have to dig it up to add to this thread but again I’ve also seen others and just curious if anyone else is seeing the same they tend?

I have mostly seen AI tools for ads on my Instagram, but I haven’t seen them for gambling. I am not surprised that they are utilizing social media to entice new users to register on their platform and maybe offer some promos to get them to continue gambling.

It’s not new, and I think it’s up to the platform whether they allow that kind of ad.

Yes. I see the same. I think social media platforms have the same algorithm just like YouTube where it will only pop advertisements that are related to your watch or browsed history. I am actually seeing a lot of different gambling applications and platforms on my social media but that's because I always bumped into streamers who are also using gambling for their content. I think finishing the stream will also make the recommendation stronger which is why many gambling ads are now popping out in my "home" section.

It is possible that they use your search data or what you have watched, so they use that data to tailor ads to your account, for example because recently I have often searched for videos about CNC machines, now the ads on my account are mostly CNC machines and some things related to that. So it is likely that Instagram does read our search data or whatever we watch. But personally, as long as it doesn't bother me, it doesn't matter, after all their income is via advertising, so I don't really mind it.

I believe that in Instagram rules it's completely prohibited and restricted to post ads that has a content related to Real money gambling. Personally, I've never seen any of ads inside the platform that are related to games in a straightforward way. However, I always encountered video content and streams of gambling in several promoted casinos and most of them are also being promoted on this Forum.
I'm not certain if Instagram has made any updates regarding their rules of ads, but it's not new if it's temporary advertisement, probably a normal user is trying to get a profit from affiliation program by sharing his link in a form of Instagram ads.

That's the only reason you got those ads, cause you're having a gambling activity, site gambling activity, even your discussion or signature are in gambling. Why still surprise, while you getting those ads topic.

I have been seeing those adds always ,as a matter of fact almost every website I go, I see different ads most expecialy the stake.com and the BCGame. This two gambling site has been everywhere on the internet and I keep wondering if this 2 gambling site are the most popular among all the  gambling site, I was even thinking about it. I was surprised seeing a thread created this morning about it.

I have not seen gambling ads on Instagram, but they are probably not allowed in my region where online gambling is strictly regulated. On Twitter, it’s a different story where I have come across many ads for BCGAME. Twitter does not have many rules and seems to allow anybody to advertise including some really questionable websites and businesses.

it is what the algorithm brings to base on your interest, either because you have search about them of recent or because you engage in discussion on the forum that relates with them. countless times, i have seen a lot of duelbit ads that are sponsored on Instagram and when i am watching some YouTube video that is somewhat related to gambling. i think the algorithm censors' things they feel you are likely going to be interested in hence the reason for bringing it. they are just promotional ads that are nothing different from the signature campaign that is running on the forum, at the end, the aim is to generate league just like you are helping them do on the forum.

I’m surprised that your social media allowed gambling advertisements since in my country there’s no gambling ads available on social media.

Only bullshit content creator that promoting it at the middle of their video so that viewers will watch the ads before they can finish the while content.

It has been gaining momentum since the last year. It is on every skit video, every fight video, and every commentary video. They are everywhere. At this point there is barely anything that can be done to stop one from seeing it.

If there is a viral video, there is the watermark of an online casino. It bothers me that people who don't want to gamble and even underaged kids are seeing these against their will. I don't see it on Facebook though. It looks like the only safe platform for now.

No, I am not seeing that because I have not opened my social media platform for some time. But I see gambling ads on many sites such as websites similar to Youtube or a video website. I guess the ads are based on your IP so when gambling is popular in your place, the ads will show to you when you visit that page. But I am not sure and don't know about that and only guess
I am not surprised if many gambling ads are available on many sites and expand to other promotion media. That is normal because they want to attract more people's attention to come to their site. They will use many promotions to get more members and give more attractive ads.

Mostly always been like this since last year's 3rd to 4th quarter afaik. Actually thought it was because of the sports season or something hence why I kept seeing them

Advertising of gambling, or rather certain gambling sites, very often appears in Telegram groups. Today's telegram will advertise anything; the main thing is to pay. However, I would not trust such advertising, as I see many new casinos, which are still quite difficult to trust.

Insta get paid for those ads pop up, trust me and it is not a small payment, there are two fashion of insta app, one free for the public and the other is premium like, I believe that ad is for the public, I don't use my Instagram account anyone, its been like two years now since I logged in last but I always see ads pop up at the time too, mostly mobile games like those candy crush style.

Ads are also based on region, if gambling restrictions are available in your region you might not see any ads on Instagram but for some other countries they will get ads pop up here and there, this operation is very normal.

This should not be new to you. If I can see see gambling ads on YouTube, I do not think Instagram will not have it because it is similar to YouTube.

I am only using using X aside YouTube and that is because of crypto. I do not think there is any crypto lover that will not have X account even if the person is not posting there. There are gambling sites ads there but most crypto gambling ads that I have seen there are from well reputable sites on this forum like bc.game.

Yeah and people are making money out of that. It is like google ads for the social media. I use a lot Instagram too to watch funny reels and I have seen a couple of well known casinos there with a big banner below saying gamble responsibly. Usually you will see these ads in profiles with a lot of followers as there it is a lot of audience watching and may even be crypto users or enthusiasts and this is a smart marketing move from the casinos reaching a lot of real people with a small amount of money. If they did this campaign with a company then it means they would spend much more to achieve the same results.

Yeah, it's been on IG lately, local games though for me, popping up and endorse by some famous people around in our country. And I guess this is the trend now, gambling is really taking the world by storm as many influencers and well known personalities are into or.

Or maybe they are just being paid by casinos to used their face for promotion coz I don't believed that they really gamble. For us gamblers, it might be the norm though, but obviously their target are those non-gamblers and somewhat sway them to try and then we know what will happen next as they could be the next set of addicted gamblers.

Nope didnt see one gambling site related to crypto but I think I did see some gambling sites locally advertised. But I am not shocked since theres a lot of ads for gambling platform being seen in our counntry especially those apps that are connected to gcash platform.

But crypto site, none. Maybe depends on country that we are residing.

I use quite a lot of social app and most of them currently shows casino ads, while some of the ads are just influencers paid to talk about the casino in the middle of their content. On Facebook, I can not scroll past two videos without encountering one ads of the same casino that is currently promoted here on the forum too. There are a lot of casinos now and it's a very competitive business which is why every of the reputable casino are advertising through a lot of channels, so that they can win more customers.
