I have been out for months due to Hurricane Helene and Milton. Our apartment was fine; but we had evacuated and came back to so many downed trees and electrical issues that took months to resolve.
I am posting this because you all have helped us in the past (we previously were paycheck to paycheck, lost our jobs, were facing divorce, so many things at one time) so this time I am doing it as our own charity auction.
I'm happy to repot that my wife and I have a solid marriage now. I think we went through what we did to end up drawing me, specifically, closer to God. But I can save that for a different post.
I have set up this auction to help as us as were both terminated from our jobs for both political and religious views which I will detail further below.

Our story:
My wife and I both worked for Euphoria Vacation Homes and were terminated on 2/11 for being "overqualified." The truth is, about six weeks prior, the owner of the company's mother (who also works for the company), had made us feel loved and as if we were family. She called my wife and asked all types of probing political and religious questions. She started out by saying "No offense, but did you guys get the vaccine? I didnt and everyone hates me for it." We told her no, we didn't receive the vaccine. She continued with "Do you support President Trump? Do you watch Glenn Beck?" To which we told her yes, we did support Trump. It was an hour of probing questions. The very next day everything had changed. It was clear she was doing this to simply share it with her daughter (the owner) and the rest of the team. They immediately made our work-life hell; making it seem we were incompetent, sending texts with Trump-themed posts in an attempt to stir us. I never brought politics or religion to work. Not once. In fact, I ignored all of those communications. After about six weeks of attempting to get us to quit, we were locked out of our work emails. We were then told that we were being fired for "being overqualified."
This is not a call to go leave bad reviews against the company. Instead, we need help. We have NO safety net so I am setting this up as a charity auction.

We have two children and have been currently relying on Food Banks for food because our Food Assistance Application has *still* been pending for nearly 3 weeks. Even a $5 bid is helpful. Like I said, we are using the food bank right now, and it would be certainly nice to go to the grocery store. If enough people donated to our cause, we could be in a much better place. We also regained control of Lynx Art Collection but sales are dead there and we would love to be able to have funds to hire new artists and make new pieces for the community one day (including other collectible items like coins / bars). Unfortunately we don't have the funds to expand the business nor the funds to cover our bills. I would happily give away free coins and bars if we ever got into the position of having the finances to build those things. It seems like God put is in this situation for a reason, it's just a matter of navigating our way out of it.
