There are new members in this forum and those who are joining the forum in a new way, but all of them have their own expectation target, but many times many fail to meet this expectation or many cannot reach their target. I think the biggest obstacle for a new member to reach his goals is his lack of patience.  

Patience plays a very important role in any work not just doing good in this forum. When we climb the stairs, we gradually step on one step after another and if someone thinks that he can go from the ground floor to the fourth floor without stepping on any step in between, he will not be able to go up. There will be many obstacles in reaching your goals. Many people will give many negative comments but you have to stick to your plan and try to move forward. Patience, as you mentioned, is the key to everything. Also, researching the forum and gathering useful information is very important. I have been a member of this community for the past one and a half year now. During my early beginning I was so determined and focused that one day I will rank up 'member'. Most times I just navigate on this forum without posting neither commenting just to gather knowledge. Here I am now a 'member' without belonging to any campaign projects after all my efforts. The only motivation to me as it stands right now is the derivative I could earn from the forum because I am 'demoraled' that is why I am inactive most time.

you have good emotional control in my opinion, you are not in a hurry to chase the ranking in this forum because many newbie accounts fail to develop and climb higher ranks because they are impatient and make mistakes. the point is you have to obey the rules in this forum such as do not make posts that are 100% from AI, do not make posts that contain threats or insults to other members and do not beg for anything in this forum because other members will think you are just a beggar.

Posting something everyday in the forum may show that you are active but that does not mean that it is necessary you post every time you’re online in the forum. What you get to learn and understand is more important for you if you know. The forum is a place to share insightful ideas and share views over a topic raised and to impact the best knowledge about cryptocurrency within members here. Been active is important but posting always when you don’t really have something important to add up and your post is not related to a conversation you’re posting on is not important in my opinion.

A legendary member started from a newbie and indeed how they moved up the rank to achieved that rank was through their active participation in the forum. It takes a while to reach legendary, fastest one I've seen was @disruptivas and this was still around 3 years if I'm not wrong
but it's worth it

But we can learn from the success of others. If we apply thesame principles successful people applied we might get similar results. But just as you said it might not guarantee success but we can learn some lessons that will help us in our path to success.

This forum needs lots of learning and patience. I have introduced some people to this forum, but they didn't continue because they wanted to gain success (high rank) overnight. Without relevant knowledge, it's not possible to continue positively to the forum. And if your posts are not good, there is no way you could get merits to increase your rank.
