Fraud and scams have existed since men roamed naked on the planet so it's nothing new.
Despite being aware of all these, maybe little do we know in some situations whereby some can come in any form in disguise for scam by telling us some cooked stories about what happened to them and how we could also learn form their own lesson, without knowing its all a framed act to deceive others through their pretense, we must know what is invoking when it comes to scam and the techniques used in doing them, because anyone can fall their victim without being careful before you know it.

I came across somewhere in the media where someone wrote "I wish there'd be global or national crisis or disasters to where my targets are located"
Someone with such a mindset is retarded. That's the way I see it. How do you wish others evil so you can profit from their sorrow? It's not just sadistic, it's devilish. People with this type of thought will definitely see those who are prosperous as their problem. They see rich people from the erroneous lens of being responsible for poverty in the land and for that despise them. I've a few around me who've that mindset. These ones want war to break out and people displaced so they can covet others properties. At a every slight confrontation or crisis they call for war, believing it will afford them breakthrough. Such petty minds.

Firstly, if anyone should request for a private detail without meeting sounds suspicious and an observant person will notice easily. Online scam is the easiest way anyone could practice without being caught during the process yet I’m surprised scam like this still happen, if considering this method as a fast way probably people falling victim are dump and slow to realize. The first mistake is entrusting your information to an unknown person, we clearly see investors complain most times about their investment after trusting a friend or siblings, no doubt asset like bitcoin should be kept private.
They don't just come up to ask for your private details, it takes time and serious conversations, months of displaying affection towards the victim they met through any social media. There needs to be a relationship between both people before the scam can be perfected, during the pandemic, lots of people were scammed, since there was lockdown in all countries, jobs were shut down, people were searching for places to invest and make profits why observing the lockdown, this scam can be a random one, but overall it does not matter the relationship built online leading to sharing private information, it's very stupid to fall for such scam, in an era were everything smells scam.

It's strange if someone is successfully fooled by an online friend. I think people like this may personally have a sense of trust in people and this is dangerous if not immediately aware of it. Everyone should have a skeptical mind towards anyone. In the real world our friends or people close to us can be scammers let alone in the cyber world which is full of scammers.

Entrusting your digital asset to someone which you haven't deal with physically is wrong especially when you haven't meet the person before. Instead giving your assets to someone who's far from you or someone you haven't seen physically it's better to hold it and misplace them yourself so that you won't have anyone to shift blames on, although I do not support the ideas of misplace your valuable assets. However, these kind of scam is called the romance scam, the scammer tell you sweet things and also make big false promises and some of them go further to sending the victims gifts so they they can get their trust but after everything the scammer scam them.

There are really some scams I don't see myself falling into no matter the level of pressure. Why on earth will I entrust my investment in the hands of a stranger when I can take charge of it myself? Could it be that those who fall victim to this are being manipulated into taking such decisions or that they are just careless?
I am usually happy when I see posts like this exposing scam techniques, now everyone will see that the online space is not safe at all. No matter how friendly a stranger gets, they should be at alert to spot some obvious red flags. Once they begin to inquire so much about information that is supposed to be kept private, and when they begin to pressure you (usually in the form of fake advice) to release money or coins to them, you should know when to cut communications with them.
The online space, especially crypto space is not for careless people. If they really understand how valuable crypto is, they will not make the mistake of letting strange third parties access their investments.

I don't really think this is something that should be paid much attention to. Provided that the person is not forced to donate or give their assets. Those that are wishing that there should be a pandemic or natural disasters, how are they sure they will survive If it happens? If someone willingly donate their assets or give it to someone that they sole desire and they can trust willingly for safekeeping, I don't think that's a scam. If there is any global pandemic or natural disasters people have the choice to give their assets to whoever they think is deserving of it. Scam only happens when you are being deceived to do something or give something in exchange for something else. Provided you give your assets willingly to someone without being forced that's not a scam to me.

There are people who are just too quick to trust people they meet both online and offline. As soon as you get their attention, they are quick to trust. I think it's just how they are raised, and some people are not exposed to so many things unless they are victims of a scam, and even when they have fallen for one, some still don't learn so easily. So I don't find it strange, especially to those who don't have an idea of how online scams work and that the majority of people on social media with high profiles are just there to look for victims to scam.

It is just too foolish for someone to pray for ear if disaster because they want financial gain from their victims. War of physical disaster isn't something we need to be talking about because even with the war in Ukraine, the world is still uncertainty and so many lives had been lost. It is very important for every crypto holders to be wise and stop interacting with unknown people online especially when it's excessive. It is good we watch and stay away from discussions that could bring about how much we are holding in our crypto portfolio which is meant to be undisclosed to people we don't know physically or our closed ones.
Scammers can go to any lengths just to prey on their victims and war or disaster can easily capture the emotions of gullible people on the Internet, why should I trust some stories without verifying what they need and what for, A lot of mistakes are avoided with just a little search and skeptical viewing. Anyone you meet online that pm you first without any contact is probably out to scam you likewise most time promotional calls are scammers too, so be careful with everything out there to avoid becoming a victim.

In fact fraud can come from any direction the biggest thing here is to maintain your privacy. No matter what disaster strikes the world you will not be a victim of a bad situation if you do not give any information to an online stranger. The more damage scammers can do the more they aim for. Therefore it is important to always be vigilant to keep your assets and information safe. Never participate in any suspicious activity and always use established and secure means.

Your opinion counts based on your instincts, can we explain between extortion and scam? Atleast that will give a better view to understand that in a distance of physical connections, someone can be convinced out of love like I made mentioned of online relationships where a partner could be impersonating someone by pictures or some form of fake identifications and due to how emotionally committed you've become with the impersonator without being aware, you might be manipulated or deliberately choose to trust your funds on the partner with an agreement of getting it back after the ugly situation in the case of war or pandemic. Note that these scammers mustn't be a close by resident which means he or she might not be affected of the pandemic. You can only doubt this possiblities if you believe impersonate doesn't exist and scammers on disguise hasn't ever succeeded. However, you might be knowledgeable enough to see such incident not possible to occur to you because it seems common and easy to figure when you're in contact with a scammer but be it sure that everyone aren't Smart as you and believe it this scamming trick is real.

Some people are carried away with greed making it easier for them to get scammed online most especially those that promise high financial returns within a short period, They make that investment they are heading to total confusion and loss of their money at the end of the day. But to those who have overcome their addictions, it is very hard to get them trapped in such a scheme since they already know that never trust someone online without proper verifications.

If we are mindful of what we are doing and concentrate on it I don't think that we will be a victim of scam, people is being scammed because they want something else, and it's greediness for investment that make people to be scammed, so we need to know that cryptocurrency investment scam everywhere, so if you are the kind of person that is interested on investment that will double your investment, know that you may be scam at any time, I know several dm I have received by unknown users concerning investment but I declined, because I don't know how I will invest to someone I don't know.

I don't know who need to hear this but I think this information will be helpful if not now but in the future to have your digital assets safe. I came across somewhere in the media where someone wrote "I wish there'd be global or national crisis or disasters to where my targets are located" The meaning of this was detailed by a replier in the post that "yes, that's usually times of vulnerabilities where victims would want to divert their physical assets to digital assets especially on bitcoin".
That's to say victims in the respective places might want to entrust their digital funds with their loved once. So be warned everyone who're into online relationships with people you haven't had physical connections with especially the online dating. One of the compliance in the post talked about how he made huge money during the convid-19. Which means he succeeded in scamming his victims who entrusted their funds with them with the digital assets. I've since been searching to get back to the post again but can't find it. Maybe it's being taken down due to risk exposure of themselves or even exposing their scamming system. So be warned if you find yourself in the respective situation not to fall into scammers trap by entrusting your crypto assets on distress.
Yeah, fake online romances have been a scurge of the crypto world almost since the beggining. Almost a week doesn't go by where i don't read about a poor old lady giving funds to some romantic love from some distant country, and even large sums at that. It's a shame people eploit guilable people like that

I'm sorry if anyone gets hurt by this or finds it offensive, but if you are someone who has digital assets and entrusts them to someone else under any circumstance, you are a fool, and if you are entrusting them to someone you haven't met physically or know personally, you are even a bigger fool. We live in a world where money is everything for everyone, and in such times, if you believe someone won't scam you or run away with your money or spend it without your consent and then make excuses, then you need to learn more about the world.
In a time that even those we declare as loved ones in our family are still the ones that can be ready to scam us how much more a stranger you have never met handing over your digital assets to with the excuse of a distress situation. You're damn lenient calling such a person a fool because they're far more than just being a fool. I don't know who need to hear this but I think this information will be helpful if not now but in the future to have your digital assets safe. It's a pity all this online thefts keeps happening in diverse manner.

I'm sorry but is this a joke or it actually happened in real life? Entrusting your digital asset to someone, a stranger for that matter, is this really happening because I find it very amusing and stupid. I find it hard to even entrust my digital asset to a close family member or a close friend and then there are people entrusting theirs to a total stranger, I feel ashamed of their stupidity and ignorance, it is never a safe call to trust anyone with your digital assets no matter how convincing they may sound, even family members betray each other and close friends do the same not to talk of a total stranger from internet. Do we actually have fools and ignorant people like this in the planet?

Scammers are just everywhere, both on the street and mostly on the internet. They all have different victims whom they are targeting. They use your good heart for trusting easily to their own advantage. Sometimes they also target those who are desperately in need, seeking to find a celebrity lover online, and they make you believe they are the one behind the screen, build trust with you and end up scamming you. And the other part of it is when they bring up charity in front, making you feel like you are donating to charity due to something happening in that area, either due to COVID-19, a flood or whatever could be used to gain sympathy from their victims.
Honestly the numbers of the scammers is just be increasing every blessing day without control and the way their population is increasing that’s how a lot of people’s are fall in victim of them, that’s is why is very important to us know who we share our personal information with, because with the things are going now is not by who a person trust. This is because scammers can even pose as someone you trust in order to gain access to your wallet or other cryptocurrency assets. The most surprising thing about those scammers is that they do not give alerts; it is not that a person will receive alerts that there’s someone from nowhere who wants to get access to his/her properties; if not, they will be able to catch them one by one, but shall proverbs prove that many days for the thief and one day for the owners.

Scam could come by any form and we must know the intention over what is being offered to us, we should not be vulnerable to anything, not even when we are dip in line to render what is personal to us for another to secure, scam is not what looks like it from the beginning, but before you realized it, things will e eventually changed beyond our expectations, we should not trust in what people say, even in harsh circumstances, we should maintain our privacy and never let go.
The problem is it comes in different forms just the way you mentioned and sometimes it might come from hackers these guys are always looking for every possible means just to take people's funds and some might come with stories of even trying to make it feel as if they are helping you and they are always coming with new schemes every day and we all just have to be very careful on the kind of decisions we make about, and the problem sometimes is that people trust too much and that is why they are falling victim. and when anything arises they always don't want to share which is very bad when there is anything but its I wrong when anything comes up you should be able to share with people because this is the best way that things can actually make a difference, sometimes we have people that have more idea than we have so we have to learn to have confidence in people even if it is not all, just to be on a sfer side you will be able to get the help you seek when we learn to speak out.

It's actually such a crazy taught to consider that you entrust your assets with a supposed loved one who you have not met in your life and do not have a good idea what personality they possess rather trusting the portrayed attitude in the name of an online romance of which can really shadow a whole lot behind the scenes.
For priced digital assets, I know there are provisions to safeguard them such that even amidst crisis you will not necessarily have to suffer loss to the point you may loose all of it, if you can get them in to a good wallet and vet your seed phrase in a place you can always reach I think that's enough security with which you can always be able to gwt you assets anywhere you find yourself in the world.

Scammers often take advantage of crisis period to scam people, when people are anxious and seeking to protect their funds. Many victims move their assets into crypto like Bitcoin, thinking it offers better protection. some scammers pretend to be someone you trust, especially in online relationship, they build trust, then they eventually ask you to hold or transfer money for them. The moment you send the money it's gone. So be very cautious of emotional pressure and never you send crypto to someone you don't trust, especially online.
