As long as you've invested, long-term or short-term, you're an investor, the idea of an investments is to secure something valuable in the future, to have a good profit from it and both long-term and short-term gives you that. Long-term are those who believed into the idea, they're the reason why it keeps going and the reason why it has a good foundation until now because they hodl for long term and aiming for a good value. Short term investors are those who take advantage of market's behavior and let me tell you this, some of the short-term investors are also long-term investors, they have stocks of blue chips that aren't used for short trading.

I have never seen stock investors, real estate investors or traditional investors in general arguing and dividing each other just because of the concept of what an investor is and what a holder is. They don't make things more complicated because it doesn't help. On the contrary, bitcoin investors are making things complicated and trying to divide the community by introducing their own new concepts, changing the long-standing concepts in the financial market.

I remember not long ago: there was a thread discussing who are real Hodlers and they only recognize someone as an Hodler if that person uses a non-custodial wallet and holds bitcoin for years. Traders and investors are not the same because these has different focus, traders are looking up to short time to make profit in the market while investors their focus is longterm  and the main reason why traders can't be called or seen to be investors is because traders often deal with buying and selling this is why traders will always be traders. Investors and traders have different targets, but I have seen traders that are also investors too, buying and holding Bitcoin makes you an investor, whether its for the  long term or short term is nobody's business. Traders have short term target and they are making money based on prediction or market price actions, that why we have daily, weekly and monthly traders.

Traders and investors are not the same because these has different focus, traders are looking up to short time to make profit in the market while investors their focus is longterm  and the main reason why traders can't be called or seen to be investors is because traders often deal with buying and selling this is why traders will always be traders. Investing means we spend money to buy an asset with the hope of making a profit and the goal of investing is profit. Meanwhile, what traders are doing is they are also investing money to buy assets and their aim is also to make profit. So why aren't they called investors? The only difference is that their strategies and plans are not the same .  Traders want short-term profits, while long-term investors are willing to hold for a period of time in the hope of minimizing risk and possibly receiving higher returns. Other than that, I don't see any other difference between them and just because their strategies are different, traders can't be called investors?

No both can't be seen as investors because investor is someone who invest for long period and hold for long period many says a investor and holders are two things apart and we can say that too, as investor's intentions are to make profit and whenever they achieve that they close the trade to book profit but holders are something else, they hold for long period like 5 years to 10 years.

The fact that you put your money or invest into something, then technically you already become an investor. No need to point out whether it’s for long term or short term, since both are in hope to gain future profits. In my opinion I think trading and short term investing are two different things even if they might seem to be similar in how there are practiced.
Trading is the buying and selling of goods, services commodities etc. While investing is the act of putting (money) into financial schemes, shares, property, or a commercial venture with the expectation of achieving a profit. As their definitions imply we can see that investing and trading are totally two different things. Short term investors are birthed from those that have low risk tolerance generally or in a particular asset! While trading is typically buying and selling of a commodity to make profits! You are right because I think investing is just where you leverage your funds to yield profits which of course pegs buyers that holds in a period of time maybe or not long time goal and the one who makes immediate buying and selling orders at any given time which is regarded as the traders.
