They can be called as investors although they are not a real investor because they just hold for some certain time. They will sell their Bitcoin once the price rise and buy low and sell it in high price. They will do that over and over so they are a temporary investor because they only hold their Bitcoin when the price still at a low price.
The investors will hold their Bitcoin for a long term. Some of them become investors because they are force holding their Bitcoin. If they sell their Bitcoin at that time, they will only lose and not profit. So that is why they can be considered as an investor because they hold their Bitcoin for a while.

They're involved in the finance system, traders simply focus on short term target and they need to risk careful
Investors are more focused on long term goals they buy and hold for a period of time when it is suitable for them
Traders are more focused on trying to make fast profit from the market; they don't want to hold for long. They study the market and move from one pair to the other as long as they can get something attached to their money. Some of them are still regarded as investors since they use their money to trade whatever asset they trade. At the end of the day, they are all targeting to get profit.

Investors who hold their assets for a longer period or they often call it long-term investment target greater profits, their goal is only to continue to maintain and increase their assets and contribute very well to their crypto assets. and someone who trades in a much shorter time they tend to look for profits in small weights, I consider them part of investors, because of course they do it on some other coin objects, someone who invests capital in making crypto purchases of course they are part of investors, but they only look for in the form of trading in other words they do asset turnover faster.

The question is are traders suppose to be called investors too and I say yes depending on the type of trader, there are two types of traders there are short term traders where we see them open and closing there positions with few minutes, hours or even a day, they mostly classified into scalpers then there are traders who are long term traders with opening and closing of trade positions between days, weeks, months and even upto a year this are swing traders, this swing traders depending on their duration of holding a trade can be in the category of short term investors. Also there are trades today that the profit they get from trading they simply invest it into most of this coins just like the usual investors also do, so a trade can simply navigate between been a trade and an investor or can be both at same time

Both can't be seen as an investors. You can't be called an investor when all you do is chase quick profit. Let's say for you to be classified as an investor, you have to be like those who sees the potential in a project and decide to put in some of your money in it, having this believe that in years to come that such project will be massive, therefore giving you a bigger reward ratio. While traders are just retailers or scavengers who are not interested in the long term potential of the project, they believe that the project can collapse at any moment, so they always want their money with them before the end of the day or week. They are always playing safe and smart with their capital. They want what they can get immediately. And they mostly end the days or week without having any stash of bitcoin in their possession. Because of this they can't be considered as investors.

Basically, investors and traders have several differences, one of which is the purpose of buying an asset, investors tend to buy to be able to hold it in the long term, the take profit target is also certainly greater.
While traders tend to buy an asset to hold it for a short time, the goal is also different, traders just want to find a relatively fast profit, but this has a higher risk than investors.
Strategies are also different, traders are more directed towards technical analysis, because this is useful for trading in the short term. While investors are more fundametal analysis, looking at the development of the assets purchased, as well as current market conditions, which will continue to change every time.

Long-term holders are usually called investors, while short-term buyers and sellers are traders. Both invest, but with different goals.

I'm not trying to say investors are not focused on making profit; I can't see where I made such a statement unless you read a different meaning in my write-up. I ended my statement with at the end of the day, they are all targeting to get profit, which includes both investors and traders. The only difference between the two is that one is focused on fast profit while the other is patient for long term.

They are always playing safe and smart with their capital. They want what they can get immediately. And they mostly end the days or week without having any stash of bitcoin in their possession. Because of this they can't be considered as investors.
Just because a trader doesn't hold a certain asset they've bought for a long time doesn't mean that they believe the project can collapse or they don't believe in its long-term potential, but they buy and sell assets in short-term because they are looking for constant profits and they can't wait for long-term to get their profits, and a trader doesn't necessarily have to only be a trader, one can do both trading and make investments as long as they have enough money to do both, but if someone doesn't have enough money but they want quick profits, they will do trading instead of having their money stuck in an investment and then wait for years to get profits. The difference is in the financial goals and targets. An investor aims to get long-term benefits, and they know that it won't affect them if their money is stuck for years, because the money they use is basically for that purpose. A trader's goal is to get profits every day or every week because they earn and use those profits mostly because a day trader generally uses trading as a source of income, mostly.

An investor is a person who buys bitcoin for the purpose of hodling/keeping for the long term, this is very different from a trader who buys bitcoin and sells it at the slightest profit gained they gain.. Though traders are of different categories while investors are of different categories as well, we have short and long term investors, while we also have short term and day traders. A short term investors buys bitcoin and hold for a minimum of atleast, six months before deciding to sell, while a long term investor buys and hold their bitcoin for a minimum of one year or more before deciding whether to sell or hold for much longer, this same explanation applies to day traders and short term traders as well.

Investors tends to have other sources of income in order to sustain their consistent and persistent accumulation journey and they still have their whole time to do many other things, but traders are stuck to their trades and most of them depend on their quick profits for survival. The scalpers can never be called investors because they hardly hold their coins, but swingers can manageably be referred to as short-term investors, but their profits in bitcoin can never be measurable with that of long-term holders.

Investors and a trader have the same interest and that's nothing but profit. Investors can buy Bitcoin for long term and can also buy with the purpose of holding for short term. Similarly, traders can open a position for long term depending on where they are looking to take profit and also hold for short term most especially day traders that don't waste time in holding an asset, I think it's OK to say all traders are investors because they push money to growth of project. Most often, it's the traders that make coins to go up, that's when you see volume spoke up, that's when you see the price go up continuesly until there's nothing bullish about the coin again and that's when some investors take their profit from the market, that's when some traders even become trap. There are some people that open position with the purpose of selling quick but along the line get hook up on their trade and are force to become a holder until they make back there money.

Trading is a job, and investing is a lifestyle. A trader has to analyze charts almost every day, monitor the market, follow the news and much, much more. Open and close trades, suffer losses, make a profit, a lot of work, a trader is very active. For investors, everything is much simpler, take the example of an investor who buys bitcoin, he can buy bitcoin only for a certain period, once a month, or even buy it once and that's it, he just waits for his goal, the exit point. He can wait a year, two, three, the entire bearish cycle, and all this time he does not need to analyze charts, open trades and do everything that a trader does, so the differences between them are huge.

Yes, they have many differences but at the end of the day, they all have the same goal and whether it is short term or long term, they all aim for profit. Meanwhile, investment means using money to invest in fields, assets...to create and earn profits. So I tend to agree that traders can also be called investors although there will be differences in strategies, plans, goals if analyzed further. As an investor or trader, it really doesn't matter and there is no need to argue about it. Because the main goal of investing is profit and we put money into the market to make more money, not just to become or need people to recognize us as investors or traders.

In my opinion, there is a big difference between traders and investors. They are two different types. Traders are those who follow their market and sell when they make a limited profit. Investors are those who invest and are patient and long-term, hoping for high profits that will do them good later. They make their investments for the long term.

Traders are known for whom they were and can also be called an investor simply because they are also investing in a currency to sell on a short time basis, that they often exchange coins from one to another does not mean they aren't traders, they are investors as well because they use their money to trade a particular currency base on its performance, while the so called investors are long term holders of a particular currency.

The main thing is how and why they do things - we all invest to get results, no matter the time frames we look at. Thing is, investors use fundamentals, whereas traders - analysis and more facts to throw in to understand when to go in and out.
