Everyone around me that I saw took gambling as a source of income become broke. They sold some of their belongings like TV, computer and some other things just because they are so much addicted. But luckily they have all recovered after they know that they are about to finish ruining their lives. Something similar to this has been discussed recently on this section, it also has to do with making a living off gambling. A thousand dollars monthly when it's not a full time job is absolutely ridiculous, it's possible to make a thousand dollars in a particular month but making it consistently on a monthly basis is something that's not possible don't let anyone tell you otherwise. most of the time people who go and sell their belongings to gamble are already well addicted and their only way out of the hole they dug themselves into is if their family and friends help them recover financially and mentally as well

The most annoying thing to ever think of is taking gambling as a source of living when there are tons of jobs and businesses one can initially do that will make him accumulate alot of funds and sort out with his needs. It was hard to get what you were saying in the beginning but I am assuming you are trying to say that people are getting tricked into gambling more thinking that they will eventually win? Well, that does happen, but you should be self-aware of how you are spending your money. If you see that you are losing and you keep on gambling despite almost losing everything, then you are financially irresponsible, addicted to gambling and whatever problems that brought to you, you yourself are responsible for that. You cant blame other or say that  you got tricked. You knew exactly what was happening, yet you continued. And yes, you are right. Gambling should be only about fun and entertainment. I agree with you. I doubt there is anyone making a living from gambling (as a gambler) here. It's just not feasible, because the more we play, the more we lose. The only methods to make profit from gambling is by being the house or by partnering with the house, what means to work for casinos or to be a casino investor.

Then it's pretty possible to make steady and decent profit from this industry in a recurrent basis. When bankroll investment was available in some popular crypto casinos on this forum, it was a profitable way to earn passive income, much superior to interest rates offered by banks. It's not completely imposible, but in order to make such money from gambling one should read the fine letter: some people make this money from the gambling industry not exclusively by gambling, but because of partnerships (influencers etc) or because they work for the industry and they got paid a salary; others make this money because they have a lot of money to gamble, so they get these results (I'm not necessarily talking about profits); and third, some people win big jackpots, lotteries etc and, if they prorate all the money between X months, the result can be between that range or even higher.

I think it is only possible if you are an affiliate or a referral (i.e., earning from other people's bets). I don't think it is possible to have a monthly income of that amount by gambling, gambling is taking risks, and for that the gambler would need to win more than he loses, which in reality does not happen.

Making 1000 from gambling in dollars is a great achievement but I doubt anyone is making that amount consistently every month as that is very difficult to achieve, for me is impossible unless as said here you are a streamer making great income by referring other people, those guys surely get a lot of refs and casinos know that, so the casinos have made the referrals commission not as lucrative as they once were.
